No running water for the entire stay. Room was dusty and not clean. Staff were not helpful about the lack of water onsite

Staff was extremely friendly and the food was very good. The location was very easy to find with plenty of parking.

Was staying for the community games. Music in the Bar til 12 and although we where staying in the 3rd floor you could hear it pretty loudly. Coffee for breakfast was seved in a pot. I requested a 2nd and the lady serving said I already had one. She never came back and when i spoke to her colleague, she told me the other person had left. Surprised at 7,30am that Cereal sever bowls where empty and little or no GF cereal. Service didn't give a great impression. Not worth the price, but we had little choice with the community games taking place in Carlow.

Breakfast was fine although sometimes slow getting toast.

We were very pleased with our room which was very large. I assume it was wheelchair access because of bathroom. The only minor downside was the shower curtain. I am not a fan of shower curtains. Staff were exceptionally friendly and a great choice for breakfast.

This was a good choice for us to get closer to Dublin for a flight out the next day. Free parking is nice and the room was fine. Nothing amazing, but clean and spacious.

One night stay, room was nice. They were doing some remodeling so it was a little inconvenient. Parking OK but the road noise was noticeable.

The main floor restaurant was fantastic. Our server Emilija was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. We were there at the soft opening and the atmosphere was inviting.
The room was wonderful and clean and inviting.

Second time staying at the hotel, great location, food was indifferent over the two nights I ate at restaurant, for a 4 star hotel didn't expect to have a cold shower on second morning of stay

Only thing I'd say would be that the wall at the front of the hotel, cladding, could do with fixing in places. Otherwise a lovely place to stay, friendly staff and very clean room

Very comfortable bed… room quite worn… hotel undergoing refurbishment at the moment. Breakfast adequate. Staff very friendly.

This hotel is very expensive for such a basic hotel. The bar was closed and we had to get drinks from the restaurant on the top floor. The staff are not very friendly apart from one blonde girl in the restaurant.

It was a lovely hotel, fine spacious room. The only drawback was that it was a 25 mins walk into town. We were told that the carvery was finished at 4pm on the sat & when we went up it was just finished at 2.30. I should not have had it then because it was cold & the fish was leathery. The food on Friday night in the bar however was lovely. The staff were very friendly & helpful.

I booked two days before arrival as a solo traveller. I received an email the morning of arrival to tell me that the leisure Centre wasn't open. I called them to be told that it was closed , probably for the duration of my two night stay. I explained that I was unhappy with this and only booked because I wanted to use the pool etc. Eventually they made enquiries and organised a complimentary use of the pool in another hotel. However I had to book a time and it was only available until 6.30 pm..I would have liked to have use in the evening. The only option open to me was to use it the following morning until lunchtime, as it closed for lunch. This conversation was going on as I was travelling to the hotel. They upgraded me to a suite, which was nice. Breakfast was not included in my package.
I ordered breakfast , room service, on my last day and as there was no pen in the room, I had to use my lipstick to mark what I wanted on the list. I didn't ask for a full Irish breakfast but I got one. And was asked to pay for it on the spot!! There was no butter or jam with the breakfast tray. And when it did arrive I was asked to pay again! Before leaving I paid for a full Irish breakfast as I was told that it was what I got! I arrived at the hotel feeling very annoyed and left feeling the same way. Very disappointed with my stay and would recommend calling before you book to ensure that facilities are available as they do not update their website.
