Over all the facility was clean and generally well kept. The drapes in our room closed but some hooks were missing.

The resort is tired. There are a lot of places where a scrub brush or a coat of paint would have made a much better impression to us. We saw enough staff to take on tasks like this while the resort was as quiet as it was (we stayed Sat-Tues in November) but they were not focused on cleaning or maintenance. Lots of grunge and lots of rust.
Food overall and menu options were hit or miss... we dined at the lobby bar, falcons nest, and marche. Marche was a standout for us during both breakfast and lunch.
Overall, next time we will choose another resort.

Water main break day after arrival had us off property for the day. No toilets…
No ice from ice makers. Had to get ice from main hotel restaurant until we left this am.
Bathroom sink stopper broke. Removed, but not replaced.
Got a text that our room wasn’t cleaned, but the tip we had left the girl was gone.
Lovely grounds and beach. Too windy to be on the beach. We were able to find a not so windy spot by the pool yesterday.
We would return!!

At the very top of my want-to-go-back-to list! Beautiful, elegant, fun, fantastic ocean-view. I can’t think of enough superlatives to describe The Omni. Can’t wait to return!

Amazing service in every area at the Omni. Could not be more pleased with the service.

The old wing of the hotel didn’t have very nice rooms. I would recommend staying in the main building which has newer bathroom and rooms as well as access to everything.

I liked the staff - courteousness, professionalism and attentiveness.
I didn’t like waiting an hour in the lobby after the 4pm check in because of a broken mirror in the room that needed to be fixed.

Beautiful resort. So much for kids to do, too

Property great. Had to deal with an overcharge on room of $630.00 and took several days to take it off. Otherwise nice trip.

This property has a nice location but the hotel is dated. Our room was musty, that was disappointing for the price paid.

This is an excellent property. We had the ocean view with a balcony and the pool was right below. The breeze in the middle of the summer was great. The pool area was never loud and after 5pm you hardly heard anyone. The room was comfortable and the room service was great. My wife and I went for a getaway and ended up never leaving the resort until we checked out. Everything was good and we will definitely stay there again in the future.

It was my wife and I for a 5 night stay. Lots of families, then when they left lot's of people our age 60's/
There was nothing we didn't like. First time at an Omni hotel after 40 years of typically choosing a Marriott brand.
We will definitely try another Omni.
Loved it!

Glass shower doors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Food was pricey and limited options at better places if you want food that is not overly seasoned. Full disclosure that I'm not a fancy food fan. I did have what was probably the best shrimp and grits I have ever had at the Oceanview.

The resort was truly amazing. It was huge. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and we will surely recommend others to go there period there are a couple of restaurants a short distance from the hotel, but there are free shuttles to get you around so that was a great convenience.

It’s a family place. A lot of different activities for children. Two swimming pools that are great! Employees are very nice and attentive to your needs. I will definitely comeback

First, let me say the staff was so nice. Deborah might be the best bartender. But other than that we were very disappointed. Not Omni quality standard/ The rooms were just like a holiday inn room..smelled like dirty feet and needs updating. Expected higher quality for the rate. Pool more for families. adult pool is right next to family pool so was not relaxing and not enough chairs. Then the high costs to sit on a chair on h beach and have service was not expected. Spa was nice but very overpriced. We decided to leave and try downtown Fernandina but very few ubers on the Island and hotel did not have car service. sorry to say but came home very disappointed for the $ we spent.

The hotel had a lot to offer. Lots of family friendly activities available for the children. We loved that it is pet friendly! Overall it's a beautiful property and the staff was very kind and helpful. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is simply because they nickel and dime you. The beach chairs and umbrellas, additional cost, kids arts and crafts, additional cost, the activities are an additional cost, mini golf, additional cost... you get the point. Honestly the additional fees for activities is fine, but the prices were outrageous. I paid $25 for my son to paint a ceramic shark that I could have gotten at the Dollar store. I did speak to the manager, Nik who was amazing and really tried his best to make up for my displeasure with the "additional fees". We were celebrating my son's birthday and tried his best to make our stay an enjoyable one. He gave him and my friends son a really sweet gift from the gift shop. He also comped beach chairs and an umbrella for us, he gave us a late check out and even gave my 6yo and his friend wristbands that allowed them to eat free while we were there. All of those extras did not go unnoticed, and I really appreciated it, but I just wish it didn't take me having to complain. Like I said the staff really was wonderful, I just think certain policies around their "added costs" need to be re-evaluated.

We took out kids for a last minute stay before going back to school and we were so pleased with the property, facilities all very family friendly. Staff as well everyone was so friendly and helpful!

Good hotel - the staff is friendly. I had some issues, but nothing glaring. I do feel like this hotel is much more geared towards corporate events / travelers with the corporate Amex than people taking their family. Some of the prices of things were questionable, but all in all, it was enjoyable.
The hotel is in a gated plantation, so that adds a lot in terms of feeling safe. The little shops are great and most of the food options are very good. Falcon's Nest especially.

Great stay. Comfortable quiet rooms with good service. Had to call once for room cleaning service but outside of that (quickly resolved), everything else was on par. Will definitely return again.

We were celebrating our 30th anniversary. The concierge, Kennon made it very special for us. She took considerable time helping us book activities and making recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised when she decorated our room and left chocolate strawberries for us. It’s a beautiful resort and the staff goes out of their way to please. No problem getting a chaise around the pool and beach. Nice selection of restaurants on site but a bit pricey. Shuttle is convenient and the drivers are very kind and informative. There are plenty of daytime activities but be prepared to pay for everything. The resort is lacking in evening activities during the week. With the amount of space they have there should be shows, comedy acts, bingo, game rooms, billiards, dancing, cooking demos, wine tastings, etc. Overall it was a great 4 days and we hope to visit again!

One of the best place

The property was beautiful. Everything was clean. That was wonderful. But I wish somebody had told me that there's a $40 per night charge for valet parking and some of the umbrella rentals were a little steep.

This resort was so great. Lots of dining options. A family pool and an adult pool. Shopping. I literally cried when we left.

The property was too large overall for my liking. The employees were all very nice and helpful. My wife thought it was too far from the downtown and restaurants near hotel were too expensive. Also We did not like outside rooms

Wonderful relaxing trip. Booked it another day.
3.0 / 10.0
The service was non-existent. Multiple times I would call guest services with no answer and no call back. Service should be better for the price- what’s the point of room service if nobody answers the phone to take your order? Also, I arrived to check in at 4:30 but my room was not ready until 6:30-7.
