We had a Amazing Stay!
Staff was amazing and made her stay enjoyable. We love the fact that we had coffees and tea provided.

Overall great experience, but parking in July and August is a nighmare. Breakfast was excellent, location couldn’t be beat for beach, local shopping, and food. Family friendly but rooms just big enough for 2.

The room said "waterfall" and only by arrival we saw they meant a waterfall shower. The title is misleading and should be adapted but this is a marketing trick to get clients to pay more and no customer can complain as it is indeed a waterfall SHOWER. The shower was a good idea when the hotel opened but now the smell is just horrible. Breakfast was good. Yes, they are ecological and it's a lovely concept, but I stayed in many hotels all over the world and this hotel is definitely overpriced!

Overall a very fine choice in the Port Vieux area. Staff were great and accommodating. Breakfast buffet with excellent variety of sweet and savory items. Our superior room appeared fairly standard and a bit on the small side. Beds are comfortable and everything was very clean. Recommended!

For the price, I must say I expected a little more. Rooms were nice and tidy with a great view but lacked storage options. We knew that the room was going to be small, but we struggled to even open our suitcases on the floor - we had to put them on the bed.
The breakfast was ok but lacked finesse. The options were quite few which I normally like, as long as the overall quality is good - but I definitely had higher expectations. I would have loved to see a barista, eggs cooked-to-order, more vegetables and fruit options (now it was more or less just whole tomatoes and bananas in a bowl). The three cereal options was straight out of the box - a homemade granola would’ve been nice. Also, the machine coffee was undrinkable. We had to get our coffee from a nearby café.
Service was good apart from some awkward moments when the hotel manager at two separate times asked us to rate our experience at the hotel, and whether we’d give them “a 9 or a 10”. It felt a little invasive and unprofessional.

Altogether a very nice hotel, in a very convenient position. If arriving by car, it can be a little tricky to navigate to somewhere close enough to the hotel to unload your luggage, however, the location of the hotel is excellent for exploring Biarritz

The staff were incredibly helpful, generous and thoughtful, they made our stay a positive experience. The hotel is in a great location for a brief stay in Biarritz.
Our rooom was at the front of the hotel and we stayed at the hotel over a public holiday weekend so it was a little noisy in the evenings. We both found the bed was a little too soft.
But the staff really made our stay enjoyable.

Very helpful staff. We had a problem with our luggage being broken so the manager took it upon himself to drive to the local airport in order to speak directly to someone that could help us resolve the issue. Everyone has been very friendly making us feel at home. They hosted a “happy hour” with free tapas and drinks. Great location along the beach.

This hotel is centrally located and perfect for our short time in Biarritz. Sylvan greeted us and was our only contact during our stay. From our welcome drink and helpful restaurant recommendations along with friendly manner, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pretty disappointing. Room smelled very moldy and left the next morning not feeling very well. Worried we got sick from inhaling whatever was in the room. One water bottle in fridge was also open and half drunk. Gorgeous location and really kind staff, but hotel was pretty expensive and not worth the price given the conditions.

Absolutely the best customer service! Front desk manager Juliet helped us with parking and even helped us carry our bags to the hotel

Average if it were a 3 star hotel

Our second visit to this hotel. The location is brilliant, the staff friendly and helpful. Our first visit in July was super, so we decided to come back in September - a disappointment! The room we were given this time was so small that one of us had to go into the bathroom when the other wanted access to the wardrobe! Open the door and jump into bed was the motto! Surely not acceptable for a 4star hotel and for guests which are staying for 8 days

Lovely location. Room was slightly dated but clean and comfortable.

Nice staff. Owner was very friendly and spent some time living in the US for school so was easy to communicate if you don't speak French. Clean rooms and great location in the middle of it all. I would stay here again for sure. Would recommend calling ahead to find a parking area close by if you are driving. Nice lobby bar to chill and chat to the staff, who were all very friendly.

I had a lovely stay. The folks at reception were particularly friendly and chatty. Its a charming hotel in a good location.
As with other, smaller European hotels, it did not provide a coffee maker in the room which is always a bit of a disappointment.

The hotel is in an excellent place by the sea and within short walking distance of the old town. The staff are polite, and speak excellent English; happy to help with recommendations and small tasks (calling cabs, etc). Beds are comfortable, showers are powerful, clean and roomy. A great place at a great price.

Wonderful accommodations for such a beautiful city and so close to the beach

The staff was friendly and helpful and the lobby bar was open late!!
The rooms are claustrophobically tiny!! We had two areas in our room where the sloping ceiling was less than head high!!

Cute European style hotel in the corner of town. Rooms were small as expected but comfortable with French charm. We had a very comfortable stay.

It's entirely understandable why so many comments on Hotel Georges VI remain in the excellent and superb. We had a splendid time there and Biarrritz is an enchanting city.with a vibrant street and beach life.
The Atlantic rollers coming into the harbour are unparalleled for any surfer and despite the season we will be returning. The hotel was very helpful in recommending lovely places to dine with each one being unique and with excellent service.

Great service from the lobby and bar. Very accommodating. Gave us the best balcony view in the house. Clean. Attentive. Excellent location.

The property was located conveniently just steps away from the beach and in the heart of all the action on Biarritz. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful and beautifully decorated, spacious lobby with a bar and breakfast dining area. The room is cozy but pretty small. I would recommend staying here on your visit to Biarritz!

This hotel is right in the old part by the sea so it's possible to get to a small beach, cafes and restaurants quite easily/

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very close to the beach and had a lovely tranquil courtyard where you could escape the busy old town. The staff were warm and helpful. The room was quite small and old fashioned but it was clean and comfortable.

Lovely boutique hotel, centrally located - a short walk from the beach and close to shops, restaurants etc.
Quiet, clean new bathroom, tidy, friendly staff.
