Poor services, the view was great but l won’t recommend this hotel, it’s old not well maintenance, the towels were very used not in good condition plus if someone go there be careful l got stuck in the bathroom the lock didn’t work properly, all inside it’s not good condition. I won’t ever come back to this hotel rather other in Florence.

My review was meant to be very different but last mornings event changed it totally different. In generally hotel and staff was good but I did one mistake and leaved my wallet to the locked room but not in safety when we went for breakfast. So the teaching is, do not leave any valuables to the room in any case. --- Sent this review allready ones. Hotel commented, not nicely. Review was deleted soon after that by someone. I asked why. Very strange, I say. --- For the hotel, you said that you checked the security camera. Check also the reception camera, you will see what happened and how the check out went.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The best thing about this hotel is its location. We had a bird’s eye view of the Duomo since the hotel is right across the street. They offered a delicious breakfast with an option to eat outside on a terrace right next to the Duomo. Inspiring! The room was small and basic.

Overall, this is a great place to stay! Our only complaint was that our room was right next to the front desk and lobby which could be very loud in the mornings.

The staff was friendly and helpful, however the entrance was far back and had a tiny elevator. Once we checked in, we had to carry all our luggage down a flight of stairs (and then up when we left). The toilet drained slowly and made noise all night. Lots of noise from the street on the weekend. Far from transportation.

The staff was excellent. The refreshments and commun areas were great. I could relax there after checking out and they also kept my luggage. I felt safe. A wall in my room and the elevator floor were very dirty. The shower is the worse ever.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Excellent value. Get the breakfast! You won’t find anything better. Be advised though, our room wasn’t accessible by elevator so we had a flight of winding stairs to deal with our luggage. We are seniors but we managed.

Hotel Duomo is centrally located. They have a wonderful, helpful, cheerful staff. Breakfast was good. We really appreciated the free coffee/tea and water refill in the breakfast room. Loved the view of the cathedral. Our room was comfy and clean, although there was a small issue with ants that we reported to the front desk. The air conditioning worked well, which was important for July days where the outdoor temperature was approaching 100° F nearly every day we were in Florence. I would reccomend this hotel for Florence stays.

The property is in a prime location for families or even those traveling alone. The hotel is very clean and the staff was amazing. My bed was super comfy and my balcony had such a pretty view of the Duomo. Walkable to everything with plenty of options for food, beverages and gelato just steps away from main entrance. Booking the Expedia VIP Access got me a bottle of wine and I was super excited! The lounge/waiting area is super cute with a balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view of the Duomo. The staff is AMAZING! I will definitely come back.

El lugar es muy sucio, la persona que me assistir fue muy atenta. pero la otra persona que creo que es la duena fue muy despota y no amable para nada. las fotos que tienen en internet son falsas. me hicieron pagar una cantidad extra cuando ya previamente me avian comentado que estava bien. y querian que les diera el pago en efectivo y no en tarjeta. pague mas de 400 dolares x noche no vale la pena no agan reserva. aparte encontre este animal en la cama. The place is very dirty, the person who assisted me was very attentive. but the other person who I think is the maybe the manager was very overbearing and not friendly at all. The photos they have on the internet are fake. They made me pay an extra amount when they had previously told me that it was fine. and they wanted me to pay them in cash and not by card. Pay more than 400 dollars per night, it's not worth it, don't make a reservation. Besides, I found this animal in the bed

Beautiful old style ambience in the heart of Florence. We visited in June and the streets were packed. I can only iimagine July. Access to fourth floor lobby is via tiny old school elevator. Federico spoke English and was attentive to all our needs. Great stay, I recommend it.

Has the best location but it needs an upgrade. Elevator is too old and small, the rooms were a little dusty, and the showers were uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent, and the view spectacular. Good for like a one night stay like we did. Shoutout to the comfortable mattresses though. Good job for when arriving tired for a good night sleep.

Great Location. Room was dark and depressing. Staff was courteous EXCEPT for the breakfast area staff which was not courteous. This is the first "9.0" expedia rated hotel where I was severely disappointed. I had a non- refundable rate. Still looked for another hotel nearby so I would not have to stay here. Lived through it. I would definitely not stay here again.
