Okay, the location was walkable to everything we wanted to see. It was clean and the staff was exceptional. Overall are really nice hotel. It was our first stay in Merida so we have nothing to compare it to. I will say overlooking the street was absolutely terrible. It was constant buses and lines of people waiting for the buses and you couldn't walk down the street. The buses ran all hours of the night and it was exceptionally loud. Like way too loud. We were on the third floor and you could also hear the kids in the pool late at night. The pool was supposed to close at 8:00 but it definitely did not when we were there. Between the shrieking and the motorcycles and the buses and being unable to walk on the road that was the only reason this is getting the rating it is. I really want to rate it higher. Also, as a side note, we had a sweet with a kitchenette but there was no fridge? There's a microwave in a sink and a dining table but no fridge. Not helpful to bring back leftovers if you're staying for a while. Also, there are no hand towels in the bathroom so basically you're using your bath towels all the time.

Staff was very welcoming. They were very helpful when I had questions on how to get to Uxmel and they share their recommendations around the area. The hotel is a few blocks from cathedral and tourist areas as well as public transportation to other towns.

What i didn't liked was that I selected a room with one king size bed and one queen size bed when went to the room only had 2 queen beds

Lovely old hotel, very airy as in the middle is the garden and swimming pool. Staff very friendly and helpful, whatever was requested was done immediately and with a smile. Room large and comfortable and allways clean. 3 blocks from gran plaza. On street side a little noisy because of cars and buses constantly going by. Restaurant, operated by someone else, disappointing, terrible service, poor selections and out of many things when ordered.

Disappointing- the front desk staff were disinterested- we had to ask for towels and toilet paper on a couple of occasions. When guests were blaring their music or TV sets the front desk staff did nothing until we insisted even though it was after midnight. In addition I saw rats in the corridor.

It was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The wifi was very slow and would drop a lot. Couldnt keep a video call connection. Hot water pressure and availability was spotty. But the price was right so would use this hotel again.

Hotel was very reasonable for the price. Hot water was iffy at times. Front desk spoke very little to no English so had to rely on my spotty Spanish. But would stay here again.

I booked a room through Expedia for four people with a limited budget. PROS: clean, A/C works properly, good price, free parking, restaurant, pool, 3 blocks from main cathedral. CONS: small room, not many amenities, no elevator, small parking. All in all a good fit for a family of four who only use the room to sleep and take a shower. There are lots to see in Merida.

From the photos the hotel looked MUCH nicer than it actually was, there were no particular issues other than that I was expecting something a lot nicer , my main complaint was the comfort ( or lack thereof) of the bed and the water went everywhere no matter what you tried to do when showering, the staff was extremely gracious and helpful the pool was great just the comfort and proximity of the room ( it was 10 feet above street level and incredibly noisy) .
