Quiet, fan, clean room, pool, staff was very helpful, restaurant on site, with English breakfast and more to eat. Easy access to places we needed to go.

Lovely stay at the Anner. Special birthday note and slice of cake for my mum on arrival which was a really nice touch. Fantastic large spotless clean pool, but some serious work needed on the dressing rooms to get them up to 4* standard. Dinner was delicous and service top notch. Breakfast however was just chaotic, seating should be assigned. 1 person at a 4 person table. Traffic light system is there to guide you to busy times but I had to ask twice for the continental area to be replenished, no fruit, no meats/cheese and staff seemed to be run off their feet so clearly need more of them or perhaps a little more training for the morning crew. Just small tweaks and it would be even better! Beautiful clean room, comfy beds and really nice bathroom, I will definitely return again and would recommend a stay there.

Lovely friendly everything you could hope for

We appreciated the fan in the room to circulate the air.

A lovely welcome from reception. We all loved this friendly hotel. Bistro menu was great for all the family.

We arrived late after a long day of driving and no restaurants were open and they would not heat up some food in the microwave for us, manager denied, so my young son had cold spaghetti. For luxury hotel it was lacking customer obsession. Epic fail. Beds were like sleeping on plywood too.

Good value , fantastic food & very comfortable

Spent two nights here. Its a nice place to visit with no down sides that i could see. Check in was quick. Wifi in the room was good. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast both days and all were excellent. Service was excellent. Was here a year ago and returned as i l8ked the place

Beautiful hotel, great atmosphere, safe, comfortable, definitely recommend.

A very pleasant hotel, about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. There is ample parking at the hotel. Our room was spotless with excellent bathroom amenities. The room and a double bed and two singles but there was still room to sit and it was comfortable. We were attending the wedding and the food was excellent and the staff friendly, efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation staying here again.

Dinner menu only average.

Would not go back. Bar staff were terrible. Hotel is dated. Not a 4 star. Food was good

Easy check in very nice room

Compared to other places I have stayed the staff were not very friendly or helpful. This was even noticed by our taxi service. The stay was quite and comfortable.

Clean and modern, super family friendly with a great menu for dinner and breakfast

I didn’t intend to stay in Southern Ireland initially but then my itinerary changed. I was lucky to get a last minute booking for a few days! It is located in a relatively quiet city. But it is a venue that hosts weddings and parties so be aware that you will hear some great music at night! Everyone working at the front desk were so incredibly friendly! This location isn’t a far drive from the Rock of Cashel. Definitely planning to stay here again in the future!

Very clean and helpful staff

If you want to sleep run away from this hotel!!!!
In the evening where we stayed in this hotel there was an event. From 10 p.m. they put the volume strong of the sound system, with the bass impossible to sleep. We asked the reception twice to get off the volume and they refused to do anything because it was a function. The hotel is not designed to party and sleep.
The next day we made the return but the manager as other thing to solve. They are made a gesture of less than 10% of the money due in this hotel.

Rooms were large , clean and well equipped, ideal location for us.

Charming and quaint boutique hotel provides a very clean and comfortable rest while delivering a very authentic local experience. If your travel plans include Cashel consider this hotel as a fantastic overnight destination!

The dining experience was excellent. Both breakfast and dinner featured quality choices.
All of the staff members were friendly and made us feel welcome.

Apon arrival I was informed the pool is not open to children after 6:15 which was extremely disappointing after a 4 hour journey. The reason given adults are doing swimming lessons surely a 4 star hotel is not the place for swimming lessons. The Wifi signal is extremely poor and difficult to connect to so I rang reception to be told the guest wifi is the only one available. This connection did not work for the first night of our stay. The restaurant was also very disappointing. Two groups of people that arrived after mybfamily and that ordered after us were served before us. The childrens pizzas were not even cut up there was merely a mark on them wherevthey should have been cut. The one of the pizzas was burned underneath. The restaurant staff were extremely unattentative even asked if we wanted cutlery spoons for my childrens ice cream. Which they could not eat without cutlery. The only area that was enjoyable was the pool during the day. Also there are no safes in the rooms and there is absolutely no information in the hotel of attractions in Thurles.

Annet Hotel is outside of Thurles, close to Cashel and a bit of a distance from Kilkenny. The hotel is nice and the restaurants in the hotel are delicious. Overall a lovely stay.
4.2
The room was absolutely freezing and eventually brought electric heaters to our room!
4.2
We liked it as it was on our way to Waterford so the location worked. Property can use a facelift. It wasnt bad just nothing special and there was not one local area open to eat other than this hotel
4.2
Location a little too far from town.
Rooms ok, nothing special. A little old and worn but clean. Front desk clerk very nice and friendly.
Restaurant on site adequate. Nice bartender, decent prices but limited menu and food quality just average.
4.2
Great experience; staff were warm, friendly and personable. The room was very comfortable; breakfast very good and the location was a great base for the local area.
4.2
Rooms at the back of the hotel are poor
Over looking plant and air in machinery
Noisy and very industrial
Was told the fans went off by the staff
They don’t

Really nice and helpful staff

Very friendly receptionist. Super clean room. Good price. We love it. Highly recommend for everyone
4.2
Shower in the room didn't work which was a bit annoying but the biggest disappointment was the bar , as a sports bar it only had 1 seating area you could watch the TV and the bar didn't have any sky sports channels which I found very odd.
Staff were very friendly & food was very good
4.2
The room was ok and the bed was very comfy. There was an out of shape and dirty lamp shade that needs to be replaced. I would say that the only issue is the bathroom it was in need of updating with old grout and sealant and the bath needed to be replaced as the enamel was worn.
the staff and service were excellent and the foot was very nice too.
