RIMONDI is the perfect little hideaway tucked in the old city. The hosts are so welcoming and great with recommendations. We loved our spacious 2-story suite- plenty of room to relax, lounge on the sectional and unpack. Step right outside their doors and you are smack in the middle of the old city with numerous options for shopping, delicious meals, snacks and a fun stroll all around the port. Don’t miss the charming old world phyllo maker and grab some baklava to go - truly scrumptious. Be sure to tell the parking that you want the 24 hour option- max 20 euros or they will charge by the hour. You can’t actually drive down the road to the hotel- but that is a great thing. Their bellhop will wheel your luggage down the street, even at 6am.

Immaculate from start to finish. Warmest reception ever! Stunning and charming boutique hotel with an idyllic garden pool. Poolside breakfasts, coffee in the room, treats and raki in the room, welcome champagne cocktail with treats on arrival, cute little balcony, big bright washroom and rain shower, lots of electrical outlets, super comfortable bed. Prime location in the middle of the old city nestled among beautiful restaurant patios. If you rely on hotel toiletries, these were not good. I would never usually comment on that, but my luggage was delayed so I had to use the hotel toiletries for a couple days. They collected my delayed luggage after we had already checked out and even walked our luggage to our car, about 7 minutes away through the pedestrian only cobblestone streets. I wish we could have stayed longer. This is truly one of the best hotel experiences ever (and we are avid travelers).

From the hotels marketing, I was surprised to meet a real life experience like this. I was put into a basement room, smelling mould. Apart from that, the hotel was ok. Nice and friendly staff, but a very limitid breakfast table. Paying 200€ ++ a night, you will find far better Boutique hotels In Rethymno:-(

Located in the Old Town section (pedestrian only), this is an outstanding hotel. Two separate buildings separated by pedestrian alley. Our building did not have an elevator but plenty of help getting bags to the 3rd floor, but if mobility challenged, could be a problem. Room very comfortable and quiet. Staff is fantastic. You have to park in a public lot and walk about a block and half through pedestrian, cobblestone alleyway to reach hotel. Parking was 60€ for our2 night stay. Mysteriously our credit card did not work as we checked out of parking and they insisted on cash payment (scam?). Credit card worked perfectly at the hotel minutes before and the rest of our trip.

This is a very nice place to stay. With 2 pools. A great breakfast selection. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very accommodating and responsive! I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic historic hotel right in the heart of old town. Close to all the top restaurants. Great breakfast - staff even made us a to go bag when we had an early start for Samariá gorge. Excellent service and friendly staff.

Rimondi Rethymno, what a stunning and beautiful place. An oasis in the old town. We were greeted by Eleni, her beeing so kind, superfriendly and she was so dedicated for her job and made you feel so welcome and at home. The room, terrasse, garden and pools - so clean and nice. The delicate breakfast by the pool, made with love by the chefs. Sergei in the reception, always so friendly and helpful. We had lovely lunch and wine/cava in the garden, with the rest of the family. Amazing Georgia always made our day bright. Superspecial thanks to you from Moi and Roz Lagos. Thank you again Eleni and the fantastic team from all of us. Looking forward to returning to Rimondi and the best staff ever. Kind regards Kristin & Trond and family. PS: Thank you also for arranging transport to Hania airport.

Great hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. Stella was amazing carrying our bags up so many flights of stairs. Location was right in the heart of the old town. Was also upgraded to a spa suite which was lovely.

Hotel has a good location, however it looks much better on photos than in person. We booked a room in renovated part, however it was not available and they initially offered an 'upgrade' in suit. Suit is in non renovated part and furniture is really old. We ended up getting a room with hot-tub at the balcony (hot-tub only has hot water). The overall facility looks like it needs a renovation and does not seem to be a genuine small luxurious hotel. Pools are very small and both just inside areas that are fully functional bars/restaurants, so not really areas where you can relax and enjoy.

Located in old town, this historic building is really charming. We had the one bedroom suite which was nice and there was enough space. Bathroom was small but functional. It could get bit stuffy as the AC was in the outside room only. Breakfast was great and you can't beat the location. You do have to park at the port and walk a bit as the hotel is in a pedestrian only area.

Came for the location, stayed for the pool and the ambiance. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were spacious and with great amenities. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall would stay again and would recommend without reservation.

The hotel is located in the city center and is in walking distance to everything. The room was good although dark and with little light and very impersonal equipped. Got a early wake up call at 8 o’clock in the morning while working in the room next to ours. This is bad management of the hotel and should be common sense that you don’t do that. The breakfast leaves a lot of space for improvement and was below average.

Our stay at the Rimondi boutique hotel In old town Chania was excellent, magnificent hotel the staff are very helpful,friendly and have excellent standards. The room with balcony was wonderful. A must stay. Phone first to arrange parking. Eat at the Pallas terrace restaurant if possible..

A bit of an inconvenient location as it is right in town where no cars are allowed but we had someone from the hotel meet us at the designated parking lot to help us with our luggage. But it also is right in town, close to all shopping, restaurants, etc.

The staff were attentive, the room commodious and comfortable (we were upgraded on arrival as well). Pool and breakfast area luxurious and beds very comfortable. It is located in the heart of the tourist /old part of town which makes it very easy to wander, shop, take breaks and return for more wandering. Paid city parking is nearby just a few short blocks.
