Great value in the central part of the city, nice room and good breakfast in the morning.

Good place and have breakfast
But there is some water drains issue when shower
Overall is good

No staff. Very sparse room. Everything self service. Breakfast options were not appealing, very low quality. Small room. Not a welcoming experience.
4.5
Great hotel! We loved that it was self-service . Very quick and efficient for people who are on the go travelling and taking trips each day. Great range of breakfast choices and lovely and quiet too. Would most definitely recommend.
4.5
This is basically a self check-in hotel. Very easy. We used a code for the main door and then got the room key from a coded lock box.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious.
What was amazing was the wonderful, fresh, whole food breakfast. What a great variety!
4.5
The room and linens were clean and the beds are comfortable. The room is very quiet, cant hear any noise.
The breakfast choices are good as well.
Though the room is a bit small, and the bathroom layout is quite awkard: the vanity sink is behind the door, hard to get to.
4.5
Amazingly friendly courteous and helpful managers and staff. Yummy breakfast and clean comfy room. Limited TV choices but good wifi for streaming. Convenient to downtown bus and some places steps away for groceries and basic food. Would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation.
4.5
Very clean and delicious breakfast. Not that close to the core attractions of the city but walkable. Free parking and included breakfast. Very secure.

Great location

car park is competitive directly surrounding the hotel, but there are other spots within walking distance from the hotel. everything else about the hotel is great. comfortable, clean, and quiet hotel

It's a self- serve facility, you receive a code to enter the building and the lock-box is set up at the front door with your room key - it will be labelled. It was easy for us to get in, however I did see some guests standing at front door calling someone for assistance to get in. Perhaps they didn't receive or notice their check-in email instructions. There is a good breakfast facility. Throughout my stay, I didn't notice any staff. None at check-in of course, and none in the building if I required face-to-face service. All went well though, and I would go back to stay there. Not a lot of services in the area, and would need a vehicle. Lots of parking around building

Amazing rooms, amazing place, amazing breakfast, beautiful people working here! Hats off!!!
4.5
Best breakfast ever! Really liked that our room had a small window that could be opened. We had a car so location wasn’t a problem but without your own transportation the location would not be convenient.
4.5
Rooms are small but very clean and had everything we needed.

First time at a self-service hotel. For some reason I didn't get the email with all the codes to get in, but after calling the hotel they quickly send the codes and let us in. Room with triple beds was small, not much space for luggage. Free coffee anytime. I think it was over-priced for the type of hotel and amenities. It was the most expensive hotel we booked during the trip, but compare to the other 5 hotels we stayed at Iceland, it seems pricey and not offering the same value.

I loved the check in and out. And the breakfast and staff were excellent!!! Booking tours & buses was a little confusing for me. But, the office staff came to my rescue!
4.5
The self check in was clear and easy. Signs everywhere explaining anything and everything. Book in room to answer all questions. Room was efficient and clean. Sonia at breakfast is a rockstar and gets you a great meal to start the day.

No Staff at property.
Insufficient parking.
No Air conditioning or room ventilation.
Must open windows to have ventilation.
Extremely noisy.
This place is more a Hostal than a Hotel.
Terrible experience!
4.5
A really unusual hotel, without staff to meet/greet. it is self-service but I didn't get or couldn't find the email with codes for the front door and the key safe. This was easily fixed but was a source of anxiety at first. The rules for phoning a taxi are difficult to follow. otherwise an outstanding little hotel with an excellent room. I would book again.

So, it was our first time stay in Reykjavik. Hòtel Múli has a ridiculously poor customer service. As we arrived from the Keflavík airport, we tried to get into the hotel. We could not because as it turned out the hotel is self check-in and guests enter the building by entering the code. No one had sent a code to us. The only e-mail that we had received was:
“Welcome ********** ********
Thank you for choosing Hótel Múli

So, we had to wait under the rain for other guests and ask them to open the door for us. Once we got inside we tried to figure out how to get into our room. There were no one at the reception, we had no e-mail with instructions and we were slightly panicking because we were in a foreign country, Sunday evening, outside is pouring rain and we booked the room and cannot get inside. There were absolutely no staff members and no instructions what to do. Thankfully, another guest had arrived and we asked him for help, he agreed to open a safe with the keys for us, we found the key with our name on it and after half of an hour of struggle got in the room. However, then we had another problem. We could not even go outside to find a place to eat because we did know the code to open the door and get back inside. The hotel refused to issue a refund

Excellent self serve hotel for a one night or a few night stays. The breakfast staff were friendly and always helpful and ready to answer your questions.
PROS:
- Free Parking - although it gets filled up quick in the evenings! but there is also free parking across the street!
- Free hot breakfast! Eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, veggies, bread and cereal!
- They have a complimentary machine in the common area that offers various type of coffees and hot chocolate as well as hot water for tea (also provided)
- There is a secret drawer with items left from past guest (we left some too last week) in the common room
- Clean and towels provided.
- Laundry room onsite
- Free wifi
- 20 minute walk to the city ( 40 minutes to the harbour if you are whale watching)
- Easy access to the main roads leading out of the city for your road trips!
No CONS but thee are some items that may be useful information:
- Beds are small compare to what you may be used to. However they are comfy!
- No staff on stie, but they are a phone call away.
- If you go in the winter or if it's raining the 20 minute walk may not be ideal. Taxis are available across the street at the Hilton.
Enjoy Iceland and it's natural beauty.

Simple checkin and out. Quiet, clean rooms. Adding the breakfast was really nice. We have stayed here 4 or 5 times. We have never been disappointed.
4.5
Very nice hotel, amazing breakfast and they offer free coffee throughout the day.
4.5
The room was really small and the only thing in the bathroom was a soap and a hair dryer, no shampoo or lotion, but the bed was comfy and the breakfast buffet had surprisingly good selection so overall ok for a one night stay
4.5
Everyone was friendly. Tasty breakfast and coffee. Add laid back as a hostel but private and quiet and a great mix of youths, families and adults.
4.5
Nice location, easy self check in

My teenaged son and I stayed two nights. It was perfect for what we needed. Room was very clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. Parking was easy and downtown was only 10 min by car. Breakfast was great! Plentiful and lots of great options. Coffee and tea at all hours was really nice. We enjoyed our stay!
4.5
Self service check in was very nice and easy, room was very clean. Only issue was finding a parking spot even though they have a parking lot it was full in the evening and we had to park down the road.

Self serve model is great! Room was clean, included breakfast had a lot of options. Quiet and centrally located.
4.5
Room was very modern and up to date, nice big bathroom. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
4.5
The hotel was chosen for its location as it was close to the port which we liked since we started a cruise. The breakfast was good and the coffee exceptional.
4.5
Did not give us our details to get into the property and due to it being late, we were locked out in the cold.

Great hotel to stay
