The owner, Paco, is welcoming and friendly! We came in late and he let us check in so late! We appreciated it so much! The place is adorable! Walking distance to everything! We missed the breakfasts as they are only on the weekends and we were there during the week! We highly recommend this place!! Best time!
4.8
One of the most amazing, authentic places I’ve ever stayed.
4.8
The property is identified as a "Bed and Breakfast", but breakfast was only served on weekends. That was very disappointing. Surely a "self-service" of simple breakfast items (fruit, coffee, yogurt, cold cereal, bagels, etc.) could have been made available in the common kitchen, with minimal difficulty to the management.
4.8
Wonderful inn with beautifully decorated room. Quiet. Friendly. Great location with easy access to historic Taos.
4.8
Loved the history of the place and the impressive art collection.
4.8
The B&B was amazing. The location is great. The owner has decorated the property with great pieces of art and each room has a different decor. The breakfast was also delicious.
4.8
It was a great location and very unique. All of the rooms were like art museums and Paco was the best! Great breakfast on the weekends! Would stay there again!
4.8
What an amazing place to stay with an interesting history! Poco was everything you look for in a host.
4.8
Paco was a wonderful host, the New Mexican breakfasts served there on the weekend were great, and the entire inn was like a tastefully furnished art gallery. We'd love to return!
4.8
It was amazing. Very friendly staff. Check-in was seamless. Room was great. Owner lives next door if there were any issues but there was not. Would stay there again but it is so popular hard to find a vacant time to book! Highly recommend p

Beautifully appointed, delicious home-cooked breakfasts, and a charming host. La Doña Luz was the highlight of our trip to Taos. Wonderful!

Wonderful place, great breakfast, beautiful art, comfy rooms, nice folk.
4.8
We loved our host, the family history of the property and especially the wonderful art I. The room.
4.8
Beautiful, comfortable room. Great location. Historic building. Unfortunately this bed & breakfast offers no breakfast on weekdays (when we were there). The shower wouldn’t drain. There was no follow through on promise to repair.
4.8
Host is wonderful and a delight to talk with. He had lots of good stories to share. Room was very comfortable with lots of local charm. Weekend breakfast is awesome!
4.8
Extremely peaceful and warm atmosphere. The owner is very gracious and friendly. We will be staying here again and again. Highly recommended

Loved the New Mexican breakfast. Parking was a little challenging but we did have a space.
4.8
What a great facility. Each room has an individual personality. Our host Paco was very helpful in recommending local restaurants. The next time we stay in Taos we will stay at La Doña Luz Inn. This hotel is a gem.
4.8
Room was beautiful, whole Inn was so unique, clean and owner very friendly and helpful. Parking was tricky, small area to park. But made it work.
4.8
Nice quiet and quaint place. Unique decor in the room. Very personal staff and great chef for breakfast!
4.8
Beautiful B&B decorated in the spirit of Taos as an art hub

This is a very nice little place furnished with antiques and old paintings that give it a unique, cozy feeling. Things were clean, the HVAC worked, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. Parking was easy in front or back. The only negative was the condition of adjacent property which was dilapidated and cluttered. That is unfortunate because the owner of this inn has done such an excellent job improving and maintaining his own property.
4.8
This was our third stay at La Dona Luz, and we'll stay there in future trips to Taos.
4.8
This was a perfect location for touring Taos. The entire place was artsy and had beautiful decor. Would stay here again. Weekend breakfast, large soak tub, and all the charm in the world.
4.8
This was our first trip to Taos and Dona Luz but it felt like coming home. I loved it SO MUCH!!!! Everybody was lovely and our room was just incredibly beautiful!

La Dona Luz Inn was an amazing find - full of art and thoughtfully selected furnishings. The custom breakfast each morning was a treat and the coffee was great!
4.8
Charming and lovely in the heart of historic area. Very walkable. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The only downside was we were only offered breakfast one time during our stay.
4.8
Beautiful and comfortable room filled with local art objects. Paco the innkeeper was super friendly and informative.

Quaint, quiet, clean, cozy, comfortable, warm and friendly proprietor, historical, awesome location. Highly recommended. Third floor room, suite difficult to get to. Ya gotta see it. Great breakfast!

We can't say enough about the beauty, uniqueness, location, service. Paco was great, the room was great, well, everything was. We highly recommend this beautiful and unique hotel and would stay there in a heartbeat if we are even back in Paos.
4.8
Quite yet a blick from the center of town.
4.8
Friendly, helpful owner has lovingly created a home full of art and cozy spaces that celebrate Taos. A unique place to stay.
4.8
Cute property. Old and under some construction here and there but charming. Don’t expect a modern facility, so if you’re fine with quirky you will like it. Room was decent sized and comfortable
4.8
The bnb is warmly decorated. Walking distance to many nearby restaurants and shops. No breakfast due to staff shortage. Owner Paco let us use the kitchen facility.
4.8
The room was absolutely perfect. All the amenities we need, spacious, very comfy bed and couches.
