Had a lovely 2 night stay. Room was fab. Only thing i would say is the shower wasnt very hot, tried all settings but it never got red hot. Entertainment was brilliant. We had 2 meals in rolys and really enjoyed. Breakfast was also really good.

Hotel was lovely when entered into reception. Staff were very nice and super helpful.. Our room was the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in. Everything we needed and more .

Booked 2 rooms, one for me and my wife (twin room) no problems. Second room was triple for my daughter and partner plus granddaughter, hence triple room. When we arrived was told that granddaughter name not on list so would be extra, what why would i book a triple room if i only needed rooms for 2, no reasoning with them. We had paid for bed, breakfast and evening meal. We actually took only 2 evening meals and two breakfasts due to the timing of the services not meeting our times of the winter gardens dancing. So overall paid for 6 evening meals took 3 and they still charged for my granddaughter breakfast was the same paid for 6 took 3. Overall not a good reasonable conclusion.

Disappointed about not being able to park even though we tried several car parks so had to park in loading bay and received a parking fine.

Excellent stay at the Ruskin with my wife and two of our children (15 & 7). Stayed in a family room, really comfortable and clean. Great breakfast and welcoming service.

Hotel is being fully refurbished. Stayed in a brand new premier room which was spacious with all the usual room benefits including a nepresso coffee machine. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Food is restaurant quality excellent, but you have to book your table time each day for breakfast and dinner. The new cabaret room is good and means you do not have to leave the hotel for evening entertainment whilst you can still have a quiet drink in Rolys bar or the lovely lounges.

Exceeded all expectations. Room immaculately clean, spacious and modern. Staff attentive and helpful. Food in restaurant excellent. Evening cabaret very enjoyable. Extended my stay by an extra night as didn't want to leave.

This hotel was priced alongside The village, Big Blue Hotel, new Holiday Inn Ex etc. Third room offered was OK although it would have been much improved by a mini fridge, air con, espresso cups for the machineand higher quality pillows and mattresses. Breakfast one and two did offered little in choice (no pastries, fresh bread, only orange juice and water, no Coffee Machine), sausages were extremely poor quality, there were more options on morning three (eggs anf juice. A staff member solved our problem to the best of her ability by offering a very good bottle of wine and Coca-Cola for my son. Housekeeping is excellent including bottled water, hot chocolate, biscuits and Twinings tea. Room fittings and fixtures could be improved with quality. Beverages at the bar were extremely good with an offer of a fabulous free Mocktail. The hotel is in a fantastic location but definitely room for improvements. Well designed website.

Lack of info when first time there and communication , had a emergency to deal with just b4 dinner, restaurant was busy and dinner already paid in package told the reception gonna be just a bit late, was booked 7pm and arrived at restaurant at 7.15pm to be told everything packed away so food was limited if still wants to eat. Well didnt want start going anywhere as already had a long day since 11am with all attractions one after another. Food was nice but not what we originally wanted.

The check in procedure was extremely poor and there were a number of issues with poor interactions with staff members. For example we asked if for directions to the nearest indoor car park a staff member told us all parking was outdoor only. We asked another member of staff who told us it was opposite the hotel. Other than this and a small incident at breakfast the hotel comes recommend. Good food and an excellent platinum upgrade option made for an enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay at the Ruskin we're planning to stay again next year. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. Checking to see the daily biscuit selection left for us was a fun and very tasty treat.
What made our stay the most memorable was the staff. They are the friendliest, most accomodating folks that made sure everything was top notch and went out of their way to make sure all was as expected.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly, I wouldn’t say it was a place for young families, it is more suited for elderly people.
The rooms were fine but it was a bit of a rabbit warren to find them, the entertainment was very good and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and friendly hotel in a good location. Room was bigger than usual blackpool rooms. Entertainment every night was good. Only gripe didn't have daquari in the bar. Will definitely be back.

Mum and daughter stay. Booked a Premium Room, also got a complimentary upgrade on the other room. Booked for dinner and breakfast as extra's, which as always was fabulous. Friendly staff, especially the reception team. Beautiful new reception area, which is stunning.

I was only staying for one night.
Friendly greeting on arrival.
All the public areas were fairly modern and well kept.
There was good service and food in the bar I used and the prices were reasonable.
The single room I had was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
There is hotel parking at a cost but I used the public carpark at the top of the road.
( I can imagine parking might be a bit more difficult in the really busy season.)
The area around the hotel is a little run down in places but don't let that put you off.
You can probably walk to the promenade in about 6 minutes with everything it has to offer.
I would be very happy to stay at the Ruskin again.

Evening entertainment, spa, hair salon, are great additions to the hotel.
I felt desk staff could be better informed to guide tourists. The lady at the desk did not know where I could get a map or help getting around Blackpool, she sent me to some obscure post office, yet the is a tourist center next to the wedding chapel. I will return and suggest other use this hotel thanks

The Ruskin Hotel is a good option if you’re going to an event at the Winter Garden. It’s a very short walk, and very convenient. The lobby is nice, bright, clean and new, and the lift was very quick and a nice feature. My visit started with a bit of confusion as I booked a triple twin room on Expedia, but I was assigned a double room. I had to pay an additional fee to actually get the triple room. I’m still working with Expedia to sort that out. The breakfast was nice, but quite a few of the plates you pick up at the buffet were not clean/had food stuck to them after a washing.
The staff were kind and made a great effort to be helpful.
