The hotel was very comfortable and quiet. It was a quick and easy walk to the main street shops restaurants and the hall of fame.

A cozy wood cabin with a touch of modern. Check-in/Check-out process was a breeze, staff was nice and courteous. The room is spacious for the 3 of us including our 10yr old. We booked the queen size room, but they upgraded us to a king size room which was nice of them. You can't beat the location, it's perfect walking distance to Main Street. I can imagine this place getting booked up fast during baseball season. Overall was a perfect weekend getaway stay for a decent price. Would stay there again.

Great stay, room was very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the village and Baseball Hall of Fame, nice area also.

Check in was easy and fast. The room was clean and bright. Location was perfect, just a 3 minute drive into town, but could have walked if we wanted to. While the selection of snacks was limited, they were available 24/7 along with coffee, teas and hot chocolate which was a great option. Would definitely stay again on next trip.

Last minute decision to stay in Cooperstown on a beautiful fall day. Found this place and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations and rate.

We got a very friendly welcome, quick check in, slept comfortably after a walk into town for dinner, enjoyed the early coffee and breakfast items and friendly easy checkout Very clean and full of charm. I love the history of the building and enjoyed the old photos.

Very pleasant check in girl . Shared dining options with us .

There was a lack of hospitality. When we checked in, we were given very little information from the woman at the desk. She was preoccupied with babysitting a young child and conversing with his mother.
Otherwise the Inn was clean and very nicely restored.

It was a great place to stay. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The outdoor areas were nice to just chill out in. Picked the perfect time to go. Everything in the area was open but not crowded.

Geat location. Just a 10 min walk to the downtown area. Clean rooms and nice decor. We loved the 24hr access to snacks and tea/coffee in the lobby.

Loved it!
6.0
Over rated because the room was next to the front desk and nosy. Little parking downtown so you had to walk from hotel to Main Street. Over a mile.
4.0
Rooms were small but clean. Not much room for toiletries etc.

Nice quite place to stay but a bit far from the Hall of Fame. We had great weather but if it rained the walk would have been problematic.

This place is a perfect little spot just off the main street in downtown! Very walkable to the downtown area but far enough away for a quiet stay. We had a wonderful time & would certainly plan on going back next time we are in Cooperstown!

We could not lower the temperature of the ac which made the room too cold

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Railroad Inn. Very quiet, friendly staff, wonderful location, close to town. Will definitely stay there again

Delays at check-in due to front desk personnel being elsewhere in and about property, had to leave, come back an hour later, and then wait another ten minutes to be welcomed. Only room criticism is shower floor is smooth, and a slip hazard when wet; could have used some texture on it.

Room was small but met our needs. A/C was freezing and couldn’t figure out how to adjust. Staff was friendly. Snack bar available all the time was very nice.

1. Inadequate bathrooms (no counter space)
2. phone didn't work
3. Bureau drawers couldn't open
4. No help to move in or outr to rooms on 2nd floor (and no elevator)
5. Price ($320/night) way out of line for quality of rooms

The property is unique, a recently renovated old rail station.
Property is very new, excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable. Great shower. Continental type breakfast was a nice way to start the morning. Location is close to main street attractions, about half a mile, but in a quiet part of this busy summer town. Grounds were very nice, well taken care of, nicely landscaped. Nice outdoor sitting area by a small brook with ADK chairs. When we sat out there in the evening, we had a family of deer watching us. Overall a nice place to stay for a visit to Cooperstown.

Our stay was great. The property is ultra clean and the staff extremely congenial.

A lot of people shared that it was noisy here. We did not have that experience but I can see it being that way depending who is staying there. It was really nice to be able to grab a snack or drink anytime day or night. The door in our bathroom was rubbing against the door jam so it was hard to close. Sat outside on porch for breakfast and deer were close by to watch! Nice pavilion to sit in on the property. Very cute place. Would stay here again.
5.0
Expensive due to the demand for Cooperstown baseball but very clean and cozy. The ability to have use of a washer and dryer was amazing and very appreciated. The snacks and breakfast items were also a plus and nice to have. Even got to see deer's when sitting on the front porch lobby. We did hear the traffic from the road directly behind our room and the lighting in the room is a bit dark.

What a find in Cooperstown! We loved every aspect of the Railroad Inn. The renovation of the old building a few years ago not only made this place so wonderful, it also did great justice to the building's historic nature. Every member of the family was so friendly and helpful. An easy walk to downtown Cooperstown. Snacks always available in lobby. My only suggestion: if you take a second floor room or loft, the stairs can be a little challenge. This is a superb choice for a Cooperstown stay.

The property was very clean and well appointed. They offered a snack bar and coffee 24 hours a day in the lobby. The snack bar had fresh cookies, bagels, and fruit as well as packaged snacks. The staff was extremely nice very helpful and full of recommendations. The area surrounding the hotel was beautiful.
