Lush landscaping surrounds the home providing the privacy you deserve and desire. The pool deck and outdoor dining area which can only by accessed from inside the villa provides a stunning setting afforded usually by just the rich and famous. It is perfect for entertaining large groups or the couple on a special getaway. The waves crashing onto the beach of Hart bay can be heard from the deck or the roof top star gazing lounge.

Upon entering the Villa you are dazzled by the slate floors and sleek design features that immediately draw you into the living room area where the pool can be seen through the 20 feet tall, floor to ceiling, hurricane rated glass walls! Comfortable and modern furniture make this the perfect place some to lounge the day away while others enjoy pool never feeling separated. The big screen TV and entertainment center can be viewed from the living room or the pool, and pool deck. The perfect setting to catch the big game!

Catch another view of the stunning pool on your way to the chef inspired kitchen and dining areas. The Kitchen is stocked with the tools you will need for meal preparation and the appliances are industrial grade. The wine fridge has room for 32 bottles of your favorite blend and is located in the dining area for easy access during meals. There is seating for 8 inside and 8 outside on the deck.

The master suite is on this end of the house and has a king platform bed with a floating headboard, large walk in closet, and a private balcony. the ensuite bath is equipped with dual sinks, plush robes, bath mats, and indoor and outdoor showers. The indoor shower has 8 shower heads for a spa-like experience. There is a Smart TV in the Master Bedroom.

Adjacent to the living room there is a large den with plush furniture set up for the ultimate group board/card game setting. Enjoy a view of the pool as you and your group play everything from Apples to apples to Yahtzee. We are still gathering games so let us know what games you like and we will do our best to track them down!

The four other bedrooms have King beds, large built in closets and smart televisions. Three of which have ensuite bathrooms all have indoor and outdoor showers with ocean views.

The top floor of the house has an exit onto a second floor roof top terrace perfect for gazing into the Milky Way, viewing the lights of St. John and St. Thomas, and listening to the waves crash into the shore at Hart Bay.

The laundry room is fully stocked and has dual washers and dryers to assist you on getting your clothes clean, packed, and ready for the trip home.

We had a group of 9 family members that all really enjoyed this property. Great to have an option with king beds throughout, nice pool, good parking, etc. The only minor disappointment we had was that the outdoor showers weren't private enough to enjoy during daylight, as they have large windows that are visible from the pool area. Not a big deal, each room has private indoor shower as well.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Mara this year, our second year back at the villa. This villa has it all, plenty of space, and fantastic views of St. John with St. Thomas in the background, especially from the roof deck. The pool is wonderful, every bedroom has both an indoor and outdoor shower, plus a gigantic great room for hanging out in, including a laundry room so you can be sure to pack light. One key feature is the parking, right off the road, has no crazy driveway, and is about 5 minutes from Cruze Bay, and 2 minutes from a dolphin market just the other side of the Westin Hotel entrance. Everything about this villa ensures an experience second to none on St. John when you are not at the beach, we hope to be back again next summer.

The Casa Mare Villa was as beautiful in person. We did not walk down to the beach area but enjoyed the home and pool. The house has beach chairs, paddle boards, ice chest, and lots of beach items for your use. We cooked a lot of meals at home and we had everything we needed to do so. Great trip and beautiful home.

This is our second stay at Casa Mare and we hope to return again. The owners are great and responsive. The place is beautiful, clean and organized in a way that allows guests to be together but also has many opportunities for privacy when needed. We loved the pool and the decor. It was the perfect place for our group of 8.

We had four couples spending 7 days on St John. Casa Mare was the perfect fit. Each couple has their own suite, complete with indoor and outdoor showers. The whole house is well appointed, especially the kitchen. We had full days exploring the island and coming home to Casa Mare each night was the perfect setting to unwind and relax, pool was a big hit! Check in was easy, Dave met us at the property and told us everything we needed to know about the property and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend Casa Mare. Thanks Dave!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Great location, short drive to Cruz Bay, grocery store. Quiet neighborhood. You can see and hear the ocean from the large deck. My children loved the pool. Beds are very comfortable, my entire family said they slept so well. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone who’s traveling to St. John.

This property is even better in person. It’s equipped with everything one could want - and even some nice welcome gifts. Justin (property manager) met us to introduce the property personally and was responsive throughout the week to questions. It’s a short hike down to a secluded beach and quick drive to Cruz Bay everything. The rooftop deck is divine at night with the sound of the surf below and stars stretched above. The pool was an absolute delight! The layout of this house allows for private spaces as well as great gathering areas! We would definitely rent this again. Many thanks! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’ve been coming to St. John for 30 years and this year decided to bring our children and grandchildren. Casa Mare was a perfect home with plenty of space for spreading out when you need separation and plenty of spaces for spending time together. The set up of the bedrooms was fantastic giving everyone some privacy and all bathrooms had outdoor showers. The sleek modern architecture and design of the house was a new experience for us(we live in a 1700’s antique at home) and we totally enjoyed the vibe! Pool area was great, lots of lounges for relaxing. Grand kids had a blast in the pool(my apologies to your neighbors for the noise) All in all a wonderful stay. One note is that there are a lot of stairs down to the house, beautifully landscaped btw, so if you have difficulty walking that could be an issue. I have really bad knees and made it without too much trouble. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

You won’t be disappointed. This only disadvantage is the water pressure in the inside showers. The water pressure in the outside showers is much better. Outside of that everything was good. Chef ready house was fully stocked for chef to come service us. This house is spacious. The main bedroom is very comfortable. The other beds are not that comfortable and sit extremely low. But who sleeps on vacation lol. Few pros and cons but overall good stay.

This is our second stay at this wonderful home. It would’ve been the third but our last visit we waited too long and this property was of course booked. We’re not going to make that mistake ever again. The home is open, bright and allows you to take advantage of beautiful views from anywhere. The pool and pool deck along with the stargazing deck make amazing places just to hang out and soak it all up. This year, because the views are just so stunning, we stayed home almost every night and cooked for ourselves just so we could see the spectacular sunsets. The The location, in our opinion, is perfect because it is close to Cruz Bay and the starfish market. However, the north beaches and Coral Bay areas are easily accessible with a short, pretty drive. Just a note- my wife was recovering from a broken leg. As you can imagine, those 33 steps down to the front door was a challenge each day ! I would suggest you inform any new guest of this situation so they can will be aware.. the house is beautiful and very comfortable, and everything you need is there in the kitchen. The view- lol not so much unless you enjoy swamps lol.

Our family of 5 stayed at Casa Mare and had a wonderful experience. Our hosts were quick to respond to any needs or questions we had. On our first day, we experienced a tropical storm and while there was some expected leaking, it was very minor. We were very pleased to find the kitchen was well appointed and used it quite a bit. Despite some very minor wear and tear issues, we found the property to be in overall good condition overall and an excellent value.

A group of 6 adults stayed for a week. We had the best time! The house is wonderful and the pool area is incredible! We enjoyed the roof top deck for star gazing. The owners were very helpful and easy to contact. We all left saying we would stay here again.

We travelled as a group of 3 couples and found the setup at the house to be perfect for our needs. It was convenient, had a great kitchen setup with space for everyone and plenty of places to gather while still providing privacy. On one day of our trip, there was a power outage across much of the island but other than a darker horizon we didn’t notice at all. We had full power the entire time.

Sadly this beautiful property is in need of much maintenance. Dishwasher, washer, TVs, A/C and showers were all in disrepair. When communicating this with the property manager/owner he tied to say were just “trouble tenants”. Fortunately he did send the repair people out for some of the items and they validated our issues. Some things got repaired- some things did not. Also note, he told us were were supposed to schlep our trash into town to dispose of. An outrageous request for this property! FYI- the view is not of the bay, but a pond that looks like a sewage pond.

We loved the property and enjoyed the many amenities and closeness to town while still being quiet and peaceful. Kids absolutely loved the pool and endless smoothie making and rooftop star gazing. Our hosts were so gracious and we absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to return!
