This place is definitely a shack. Do not expect luxury. It's only redeeming quality is that it is directly across a busy road from the ocean.

It is located right by a few very nice beaches. There is a cove right acrees the street that is great for snorkling. Tons of fishes to see. Waimea beach is a 10 min walk. Great place to rent if you like the North shore.

Let me just start off by saying location, location, location!!! if you are looking for a place just steps from the water this is the one. Everything about our stay was amazing here. I had questions. Cathy was very prompt on getting back to me and letting me know what the next step was. When we arrived, we had our instructions on how to get the key from the lock box that was a plus and itself made it so easy. Upon entering the places, very cool clean and just how we imagined it. It is small but has everything you need from utensils to certain condiments in the refrigerator, the AC worked amazing , and we were very worried about the bed at first, but it ended up being so comfortable. We slept like Just like we were at our own home. It was so nice having the little store Foodland right around the corner for beer, food coffee in the mornings. It was perfect.!!! Such a great location…

I grew up on Oahu and was coming home for a visit with my husband and our 15 month old. We wanted a place near the beach so we could walk and not have to do a lot of driving with all the baby gear. We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Being able to walk across the beach to a calm beach where we could swim, snorkel, and just relax was the best. We also enjoyed the flexibility of walking to the foodland (grocery store) and food trucks near by. The property was clean, had everything we needed, and had an outdoor shower which was so nice after our time at the beach. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks for all the memories!

As above the location could not have been better. Ideal on the North Shore of Oahu. The house was functional for the most part but there are several things that could be repaired or updated such as the laminate flooring and some lighting. The plastic adirondack chairs on the deck were brittle and actually dangerous. We picked up some other outdoor chairs to use on the deck. The view from the deck was a beautiful feature.

The place is on par with all of the original buildings and houses in this area. Quaint and most importantly located right in the middle of town. This was our first trip to this island and I think it’s my favorite now. Got to surf every day 6-10’ waves for the 10 days of our stay, good parking, semi-quiet considering how close it is to beach and kam highway. Bathroom was small but accommodating and had showers only and no tub which was ok for us. We will be booking another trip in February and unfortunately this place didn’t show up again on our search or we would highly consider going right back to it again. Since the trip to Hawaii is pricy we may explore options to camp or “glamp “ on the east side of the island as this was def our big trip for the season but we had so much fun at haliewa and Velzyland everyday surfing and checking out pipeline that I’m itching for some more aloha in our lives

Clean and cozy house steps from an amazing beach and close to store, food trucks and just a short drive to shopping and scenic sites. Property manager responded to all communications rapidly and we had no problems. Ac worked great and kitchen had lots of the basics. Washer and dryer were the best after a day of sun and sand. Great stay

Fantastic, the accommodation was first class and so close to the best snorkeling at Sharks Cove and Three Tables beach

We loved our stay in this little home on the North Shore. My favorite part was being able to walk across the street to Three Tables Beach to swim & snorkel & a little further to snorkel at Shark's Cove. This rental is also within walking distance of Foodland & a few food trucks. It's a very short drive to Waimea Bay- you will love jumping off the big rock into the ocean.
The house is small but has more than enough room for four people. The beds were comfortable & the internet was strong. The shower outside was all of our favorite place to get clean because the water pressure/shower head was stronger than inside. The kitchen is lacking a little for what is needed to cook even basic meals. This shouldn't be a problem for most. We don't normally try to cook on trips but only did this time since we were there for two weeks. The washer & dryer were AMAZING to have to keep clean clothes. The TV had plenty of options to watch in the evenings; the North Shore shuts down early, which is fine because you will be tired from swimming & snorkeling all day. We saw LOTS of beautiful fish & even sea turtles while snorkeling. The unit we stayed in had a porch we could sit on where you could see the ocean. No worries about hearing road noise- it was very quiet at night. The only thing noisy about this rental is the large, German Sheppard who barks for protection & lives next door. It's not all the time, just occasionally.

The location was perfect. Our stay was pleasant enough but several plugs didn't work in the kitchen and the washer didn't work.

This was the perfect spot for our trip. The location was spot on and the mellow vibe of the north shore is just what we wanted! Thank you Cathy for all the recommendations.

Cathy was an amazing communicator- highly responsive with clear instructions and very quick response times. The LOCATION is AMAZING! The cabin is across the street from Three Tables Beach, a very short walk to a grocery store and food truck village. Sunset beach is down the road and our son surfed at Chuns Beach. The beautiful Waimea valley and falls in a very short drive away. I can’t say enough positive things about the location!
The property itself was far more rustic than the pictures indicated. I know 600 square feet is small. Size wasn’t an issue. I don’t think the pictures accurately show how rustic the property is. There is no space to prep/cook food which was a factor in choosing VRBO instead of a hotel. The outdoor shower is better than the indoor one. Cathy was amazing and I would certainly enjoy working with her again if she manages a different property.

We’ve come to Hawaii many many times, always preferring the North Shore. It was our 25th wedding anniversary. We could not have been more pleased. The location is perfect for us! Directly across from Three Tables and Sharks Cove, a block from Foodlamd and great food trucks. I hope I can book this place every time I return! It was perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is in the perfect location for the North Shore. Close to pipeline, close to Foodland and awesome food trucks. Could throw a baseball to the ocean. Thanks.

Foodland is a block away. Can see whales from your kitchen (wintertime) sharks cove is pretty much across the street. Food trucks. Perfect Hawaiian Hale.

This is a cozy home with the beach right across the street. Brand new patio deck which is a plus, being able to sit and watch the sunset. The grocery store Foodland is a close walk and very convenient.
The rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. There is a lot of closet space for your luggage and clothes. The washer and dryer are old school but they are the best actually much better than the newer models. Loved the outdoor showers!
The only suggestion I would recommended is a deep cleaning of the couch and chairs. Overall this is a nice home and being four adults it was enough space and did not feel crowded.
We would definitely stay again in the future.

We did not want to be in the crowded area of Honolulu so we decided on this property. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The property sits right across the street from the beach. You can hear the waves at night through the open windows. It is a beautiful area.
There is a Foodland grocery store and food trucks within walking distance.
The property is older but the location makes everything better.
I will definitely stay here again if ever on Oahu!

It was a great location! Perfect for my sister and I. Everything worked out. Just one little problem. The shower head could use some updating. The water pressure might as well been a trickle. What normally takes me 10 min to bathe and wash hair took me a half hour because the water was not strong enough. We had to clean the shower head because it was clogged. But that still didn’t work. The sink water pressure was better than the shower. Other than the shower head problem. All was great!!!! I’d stay there again if they take care of the shower water pressure or shower head. I’d even recommend the place to friends.
