Lovely characterful room, comfortable and spacious.Shower head was broken so we used it like a hand shower. Stairs are difficult for me but this was in the description. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place very quint If your looking for a king size bed try elsewhere Location is excellent as is the area around lots of places to eat but you do need to book at the more well known places.

The host was very friendly and welcoming, the place was very clean and easily accommodated our needs for our short few days away. The breakfast was very fresh, tasty, lots of good opions and was a good way to start out the day.

Castleview is in a great location with plenty of on-street parking close by. Tracey is a very personable and helpful host and the room was beautiful - a super comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Especially liked the view over the castle walls.

It was an amazing place to stay. Our host Tracy had everything absolutely perfect! It was like stepping into a story book. The breakfast was beautifully presented and so fresh and tasty. Our only feedback would be the bed was only a double size and we had a cozy couple of nights:). We would book again if we were back in the area. Delightful!

Great location opposite the castle and short walk into town there is street parking with owners permit, spotlessly clean room with nice touches and a good breakfast, very pleasant helpful owner.

Tracey went out of her way to make my stay as comfy as possible. I stayed in the Duchess room and found it warm & cosy a fabulous view across the castle rooftops and a great ensuite . I had to come in during the early hours due to ghost hunting at Chillingham castle but this was not a problem also Tracey made me up a tray of breakfast bits & left them outside my door as i would miss breakfast completely downstairs so i could grab a few hours sleep! Great access to the beautiful town - i had a meal at the Dirty Bottles pub before ghost hunt which was a gorgeous steak. Access to the castle omg just a few yards to the entrance! Id stay here again in a flash. Thankyou Tracey and her adorable puppy Daisy xxx

we spent two nights at Castle View b&b was excellent in every way , Tracey cooked us an excellent breakfast that set us up for the day ahead a great base for exploring the lovely Northumberland district added bonus a stones throw from the must go Alnwick castle and gardens .

We had a very enjoyable stay at Castleview B&B. We received a very friendly and helpful check-in. The room looked out directly onto the castle and the B&B was very close to the centre. Tracey prepared delicious breakfasts to order. The property was clean and comfy. Although not suitable for the disabled due to the stairs, we had a wonderful stay.

Excellent location just outside the heart of Alnwick, waking to views over the castle walls. The ancient building is a little quirky of course, yet comfortably arranged as a B&B with attractive decor. Tracey made us feel welcome and her new puppy wanted to get to know us too. The surrounding area, seaward and inland, is wonderful, and we found the castle and gardens fascinating.

When the name says "Castleview", they mean it! Right across from the bedroom window is a stunning view of the grounds of the Alnwick Castle. Our stay was certainly befitting of a king and queen, the bedroom is very well appointed and the breakfast was delicious.

We very much enjoyed our time here. The room was comfortable and elegant with little thoughtful touches. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy and our host was helpful in every way. We enjoyed it so much we immediately re-booked for another trip as soon as we got home.
