The location was great and the room was nicely laid out and well styled. The bed was very comfortable and everything really clean, the kitchen was ideal for the stay we had, It was nice a surprise to get Tea/coffee, milk and biscuits provided. Being a basement apartment privacy wasn’t an issue as the big shutters kept the world out.
There was a few issues with the room, the main one being it wasn’t very secure as on of the window latches was broken to the window could’ve been opened from the outside had someone tried. The bathroom door didn’t shut properly and there a few smaller things like cracked tiles in the kitchen and we couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work. Fortunately none of this dampened our stay and we had a very enjoyable few days.

Self catering apartment. Excellent facilities. No problems.
Perhaps neighbouring apartments access though necessary could sometimes be a little noisy. But understandable.
A lovely stay.

Great location and excellent communication from the owner.
The steps going down to the flat are quite steep.

We arrived to an over-powering smell of mould and damp which was coming from the kitchen (see photo). We felt it would have been unhealthy to stay and opted not to. The owner remains unresponsive and booking.com have offered a 20 euro credit on a £270 stay.

The location was excellent, the amenities were great and communication with the host was easy and efficient.
It was quite hot & stuffy but understandable as it is a basement apartment.
