Very spacious room. The property is in need of updates. Creaky floors and the breakfast was average. Parking was also annoying.

Excellent short notice trip. Staff and service provided were faultless. Hotel in brilliant location to explore Achill Island and surrounding area.

Older style hotel and we had a pleasant stay. My husband has a CPAP machine and there were no power points by the bed and the staff were helpful and prompt in providing an extension lead for him. Lovely view from our room across the water

Very friendly service

Lovely hotel staff very polite and helpful

What a disappointment. So many things let this hotel down. We had two rooms - both bathrooms had a REALLY foul smell, the window in my room didn’t open, the tv in one room didn’t work, and to use the kettle the tv had to be unplugged.
We were unable to get a restaurant booking so ate in the bar area instead. Service was appalling and one of the waiting staff was very ill-mannered. Not a nice experience.

Wonderful stay. Opt for a sea view if you can - it’s a stunning view. Lovely stylish hotel and a great relaxed ambience.

Lovely staff and great service, airy rooms, but some modernisation needed.

It was a lovely property.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place.

Beautiful location and property, however, no wifi as advertised, I rely on this being available for work and could get nothing done, very stressful. food service in bar was very poor, couldn't drink the tea it was so strong. Overall very disappointed as this came highly recommended.

We stayed in an apartment and we were able to order meals in the bar and get them delivered. We were right on the green way for exploring (hope to use bikes next time).
4.1
Beautiful design and great value - a little bit away from the old town, but the trade-off is a much better price and also a nice comfortable bright modern building. My only fault is the early close of the attached cafe and the lack of vending machines or coffee and tea facilities, especially since there are no nearby shops. The gorgeous common areas would benefit greatly from a coffee or tea facility. That said, I’d happily stay again.

Lovely stay in mulranny apartment, staff excellent, very friendly and helpful.. Apt very big , could do with a bit of update but very nice and had everything we needed.. Fabulous location 😎🚲

Lovely spacious apartment and friendly staff. Great views.

Dated room, wasn't clean - bin not emptied, marks on the light switches and mirrors, packet of biscuits opened with one missing and put back amongst tea cart. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast was poor - over cooked scrambled egg, poor selecrion of fruit.

Arrived late for only 1 night, so didn't get a chance to fully take advantage of hotel amenities. However, the hotel was nice and surrounding area was beautiful. Host at bar went out of his way to help get us a table for dinner.

Good hotel, beautiful views from the sea view rooms. Staff very friendly but service in the bar is a bit chaotic at times, leading to long waits for meals. Bathrooms are a bit dated and there is some maintenance needed in them and at the pool. Overall very pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a fabulous setting, room was very spacious, clean with really comfortable beds. Really disappointing that there was no wifi for entire stay. Raised issue couple of times but went unaddressed.

From the time we arrived for our 2 night break, we were met with smiling faces. Check in was very easy. Our room was large and spotless. The bed was great and good sleeps. The food we found to be excellent. The breakfast was also very good. The staff went out of their way and nothing was a problem. First time in Mayo and will be back.😊😊😊

We had a very pleasant time the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I know the hotel was just opened after COVID but the pool was not opened and was not informed until i tried to book a time slot. The menu in the restaurant was very limited only 4 main courses while what we got was extremely nice and no complaints but it was the same menu on the second night which left little choice. Also as i say it was only after reopening i felt the breakfast operation was not well organised. You got your time slot and everything was well cleaned down but you had to sit at your seat until you were callex up to the buffet bar and were then served by a member of staff and the general waiting period was 30 minutes before you were called. I think it would be a better system if your order was taken and it was table service as they had lots of staff on. As i say i know it is trial and error. Very little seating area in the lobby and the addition lobby seating room was closed.

Nice location between Achill Island and Westport. Not a whole lot to do in the area but great for a 1night visit.

Very disappointed with the room. We checked in to a double room, the room was dusty with dead flies on the windowsill and the bathroom was also v grubby. The bed was uncomfortable, this was down to the one thin pillow provided.

Food not good no enterment the weekend that was in it

The hotel is a bit dated, I don't think it should be 4 star when compared with other hotels in this bracket. The staff, particularly in the resturant were excellent. The main attraction was obviously the view and surrounding area

lovely hotel in a lovely location. Great food and great leusire facilities.
onlly criticism was the 2 single beds put together were rather uncomfortable given the overall price paid but this is more a critique.

Reception kept me waiting in the midst of a really loud wedding reception with vague promises of “your room will be ready in five minutes”.
30 minutes later our room was ready, had anyone said it would be 30 minutes, we would have left our cases with them and gone off to do something else, anything else apart from listen to an overly-amplified duo in the lobby.
Eventually we were taken to a room on 2nd floor. Is this wing in regular use?
I only ask because we exited the lift to a general scene of chaos: trollies, large bags of laundry, several cases of jugs and glasses; we had to squeeze by all of these obstacles.
When we got to the room, it was a very large room, however the bathroom smelled awful but we decided to try and make the most of our holiday despite the fairly 1 star experience so far.
We asked about the restaurant, however it was closed because of the wedding. If it had been made clear on the website that usualhotel services would be affected by a function then I may not have booked a stay at this hotel. The hotel management said “ you can order in the bar”
The bar was damp, with wine coolers being used to catch the rain as it dripped inside and with absolutely no atmosphere we decided to face some pounding rain and find food elsewhere.
After returning back to the room, the bathroom, after the cleaning fluids’ amazing powers had worn off, it smelled like something between a damp dog and clogged pipes.
Overall not a happy experience.

Can’t commend the staff highly enough - so helpful with everything - especially when you have a small baby with you.

A friend and I came to Mulranny for a workshop and stayed at the GN Mulranny Park- The hotel is on a hill overlooking the bay and distant mountains, and is a great way to access the Great Western Greenway, for cycling or walking, and for exploring the countryside. The hotel staff were very nice, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place to anyone. You could spend days and days exploring the variety of sites and places, villages or nature, nearby.

Restaurant is excellent for food and service. Leisure centre can be very busy during school holidays

A wonderful hotel in a stunning location. Staff are friendly and most helpful. The leisure facilities are excellent. The room was the best I've ever stayed in.
4.1
Good stay - hotel was well located, food in the bar was excellent. Wifi was a slight let down - not very strong signal in the room, very slow and dropped out altogether from time to time.
Decent breakfast and helpful staff - would definitely use again.
