La atención y la relación calidad- precio.

The location of the hotel is good.
This is not a very comfortable place to stay. Our first room smelt heavily of smoke and we asked to change.
The room we stayed in was above to road and extremely noisy and cold at night.
There was hot water on only one day out of four.

-very comfortable beds and pillows
-always some hot water
-quite clean
-very very noisy. The room is next to the reception, you hear everything, from the breakfast at 6 am to the customers ringing the bell at 3AM.
-the room window opens to an inner courtyard that is filthy and noisy (kids, salsa music, machinery)
-the staff clearly has no idea how to run the business, they just started. We had a lot of confusion trying to book a tour through them, then at the end the owner tried to make us pay for a tour we cancelled (he never told us we will have to pay before), and then tried to charge us 5% extra for card paiement without telling us. Very very poor communication.

The room was very comfortable, clean and had a good hot shower. The owners (Marco and Edith) were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I ever had in a hostal/hotel. They offer good tours. The location is perfect, close to the plaza and a lot of restaurants. Highly recommended.
Nothing.

Amaru hotel has really nice owners, who want to help with anything. We had an amazing stay, probably the best in Peru yet.
Only con is that the rooms are quite noisy
