With the genuine hospitality of all of the team and the boutique nature of the hotel , we felt like guests in someone's beautiful home. The property is beautifully maintained and we enjoyed the gardens and pool area.

I loved everything about Shintana Saya and this is the easiest 10 I’ve ever given. We were picked up at the airport in a very swish car with reclining seats, given cold towels and coconut drinks for our journey. Our driver Thai was really friendly and informative about his country. When we arrived the staff came out to greet us. We were made to feel very special. The hotel is stunningly beautiful with great attention to detail in the decor and the planting. The gardens are so beautiful and well looked after. The hotel was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The staff are all fabulous and work well together as a team. David the owner was often around and made a point of chatting and checking all was ok. Our room was huge - thank you David for the upgrade- and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the sheets luxurious. We appreciated the complimentary gifts ( the wine was really good). The food and service in the restaurant was great and we enjoyed chatting to Panith on a morning when she brought our breakfast, she is so kind and friendly. Also Sothay who serves us in the evening. The chefs here are excellent and cook a range of international food well. Thank you to Renna who arranged a great trip for us and airport transportation - his communication with us before hand was always quick and reassuring. We spent the afternoons by the beautiful pool which was really tranquil and relaxing after busy mornings seeing the sights. Free tuk tuk into town was a great experience. In summary this hotel is first class - absolute luxury in both its ambience and service. We have never been so well looked after in a hotel. Thank you
A bit of a cliche but true to say we were sad to say goodbye to the stafff

One of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed in! Beautiful Property. Sweet attentive staff took care of everything from start to finish.

We stayed at the hotel for one night before starting on a tour of Cambodia with a tour company. I cannot recommend this place enough. We had airport pickup included. The driver met us with a smile on his face. The hotel is a 10-min drive from the airport. In those few minutes, we had a cold towel to refresh and a cold coconut water drink. The moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and ensured we had a lovely stay. The room was huge and beautiful, had everything you could possibly want. We were so thrilled to have complementary fruits, a bottle of wine with cheese and nuts as well as crisps. The fridge came stocked with complementary water and fizzy drinks. We also had dinner at the restaurant. It was unbelievably good. We got the pumpkin soup, which was a delight and the main course was also amazing. The owner came out to have a chat with us and every staff member we interacted with were so welcoming. If you are ever in Siem Reap, I would highly recommend this place.
Nothing - everything was great

The Shintana is a quiet, beautiful and charming boutique hotel close to Angkor Wat. The staff is professional and exceptionally nice. Wonderful hospitality. The perfect stay!

This was such a gorgeous and beautiful boutique hotel… it was perfect and flawless in every way. The restaurant, gardens, pool and room was far better than any of the big 5 star hotels I have been to. The people working there were so amazing and helpful, they made our trip to Cambodia unforgettable. ❤️Cambodia ❤️

Everything about our stay at the Shintana Saya residence was fabulous from the second we were picked up at the airport. David and his staff greeted us with a coconut drink and cool towels as they escorted us to the hotel.
We were greeted by a full staff who provided the most exceptional service the whole stay. We were a family of five, and felt like they anticipated all of our needs, and met every request with a smile and exceptional service.
The grounds of the hotel have some beautiful lush gardens, lovely pool and the decor was modern with traditional statement pieces.
Everything was wonderfully clean.
The breakfast provided was exceptional with many choices, and they were always quick to offer fresh fruit throughout the day.
The hotel also provides wonderful concierge services of arranging rides on tuk-tuks, cars, and dinner reservations. We had them arrange for us to see a traditional Aspara dance while having dinner at a local restaurant. On our last morning, we only had about four hours until we had to leave for the airport. David arranged for a driver to take us to the Cambodian Land Mines Museum, which I highly recommend. It was very educational for my children. The driver also took us through a local village on our way back. We had the opportunity to see the wonderful countryside, taste some local treats, like palm sugar candies, Cambodian cakes and buy traditional Cambodian scarves from the small village market.
Shintana Saya made our visit to Angkor Wat and Cambodia very memorable.

Very friendly owner and staff that really made us feel at home in this little oasis. Very quiet and peaceful as a little off from the main roads but easy enough to get to. Big rooms and comfortable big beds. We had the family suite which was 2 good sized connecting rooms. We would definitely go again.

got upgraded to the royal suite which was very sizeable and nicely furnished
pool is nice although too small to truly swim
free tuk tuk service to and from airport / town
only rainshower - so with every shower your hair will be wet
two large lavabos instead of one - no space for your toiletries
breakfast, particularly the bakery part should be fresher (it was dry and 2-3 days old)

great place . in lovely villa with lovely grounds and pool. room was large and very nice. but big thing was friendly and helpful staff. like every tourist we were in siem reep for angkor wat. they booked a great guide (tiger) and tuk tuk driver (mr pich). mr pich also drove us to three great restos in turn and picked us up. resto was very nice for cooked breakfast and some lunches and poolside drinks. a great place
we loved it all but do note it is not in center of town so maybe a 10 minute tuk tuk to town restos (though note hotel provides tuk tuk both ways). not being in town not a big deal since you need a tuk tuk to get to angkor wat from anywhere in siem reep.

it was a slice of Heaven - an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city
nothing not to like!

The staff were exceptional. The manager collected me from the airport with fresh coconut and cold towels.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a fabulous fruit platter and bottle of wine in my room.
On my return trip to the airport my driver ensured I was met by the guide for the next stage of my journey.
The decor is a bit tired, I had to ring down for a kettle and the free mini bar only contained water and 2 bottles of soft drink.

The hotel is very well maintained and looks very nice: trees, stones, good style. Room was spacious and comfortable.
But what made the place a very special place was the staff and the manager: always caring about us, fulfilling the requests from my kids, and very helpful with tourist tips. We'd come back and stay in the same place again.
Nothing I can remember of?

I have never experienced service like this before. The airport transfer with fresh coconut on arrival and towels, the bar and restaurant breakfast options and free tuk tuk (for the journey there) was amazing. If we come back we're definitely starting there.

Mr Thai and Mr David, thank you for our fantastic stay. If we could give an 11 we would give it. Superb hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shintana Saya Residence. The accommodation is very stylish and modern. The staff is extremely friendly and really fulfilled all of our wishes. Starting with the owner David, every person at the reception/ the restaurant/ the cleaners/ the drivers &&&. They arranged everything for us (Airport transfer, drivers for angkor/ to pub street/ to Koh Chang and many more). So many things were included. We felt very comfortable and can really recommend the residence to everyone. Thank you very much for this unforgettable moments.

The hotel is nicely located, very close to the airport and the Angkor temples. The rooms are amazing, nice design, good size and very clean. All the staff is so nice and considerable, they were very supportive in all manners, be it food, transportation or tour recommendations. They even packed a breakfast for our sunrise temple tour and our early checkout. The owner David super nice as well and helped us out in every situation (we had a very early arrival and also needed some medication). We will definitely come back to Shintana Saya Residence.

Extremely comfortable and quiet place to be. There was wine, fruit and nuts waiting for us in the hotel room when we arrived. If you lie by the pool for a little more than an hour, they bring refreshments, and it’s on the house. The rooms are spacious and clean. Friendly staff.
The only thing we can fault about this place was that the staff did not always remember/understand what we had ordered for food. Of course they corrected each time.

The staff were amazing! David and his people took care of everything we needed, and went above and beyond when I was sick on one of the days, just to make sure I'll feel better. The room was big and well maintained, and the food at the restaurant was great as well.

The attention to details were excellent and the staff were friendly and assisted us in any thing we required during the stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was absolutely worth it. We were the only guests for the first night, and David and his team really made an effort to make us feel special. We were taken care of really well, airport pick-up with coconuts and cold towels, bottle of wine and fresh fruit in the room.
Room was always clean and really spacious, staff was super friendly, the pool was awesome. Free TukTuk drop-off in the city was arranged within seconds, since the hotel is not located directly in the city center (which made it a nice and quite place). We were provided free drinks and snacks every day. When we left to Phnom Penh David even took us to the Bus station.
All in all really luxurious stay, we would definitely come back!
breakfast choices were a little limited, portion sizes were small since it’s à la carte breakfast, but you could always ask for more.

I highly recommend this Residence. The owner David personally looked after all our needs. He drove us around, picked up in the evenings from the town, even took us back to the Residence late at night. But also, the place is easily accessed by grab tuk tuk or taxi. David organised a free driver, who waited for us in town. The The room was very clean with great beds . We would like to thank the staff of Shintana Saya Residence. It was one of the best stays for my family throughout Asia.
Can’t say anything bad about the property. Missed the croissants during breakfast. But we were offered a selection of breads.
4.8
The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. I, especially, enjoyed the view of the swimming pool and best garden I saw.. staff are professional and supportive. Thanks for Mr David’s arrangements for us.
Beautiful rooms, great ambiance in the hotel dining room and bar. We didn’t eat so I can’t rate the food, although others looked like they were enjoying it! We will come again!

Everything was perfect! Thanks to the owner for allowing us to stay in the room after checkout time.
