About this house rental

Negreet Retreat is a water front home located in a quiet calm cove excellent for fishing. A super short boat ride gets you to the main lake of Toledo Bend and a 5 minute boat ride to Cypress Bend resort. This new, clean and cozy lake house has its own private concrete boat launch, fishing pier and floating dock. 2 single person Kayaks are included for you use during your stay. The boat house has one powered boat slip ( sometimes 2!) for your use along with a fish cleaning station with water and electricity. Excellent views from the large patio with comfy furniture. Enjoy any type of water sports or just relax by the fire pit! Excellent retreat for relaxing and watching birds of all sorts. We have added a whole home generator so no worries there. We have No outrageous cleaning expectations! We just ask that you take trash to the road in a bag, we even provide the bags 😊.

Loved this place! Beautiful view with great patio and deck. Our whole group was impressed with everything about it. Very comfortable for our group of 8. Felt very safe for our young kids which is a huge plus!

This weekend was everything we wanted it to be. We celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary. It was nice having some of our family with us. Sitting out on the patio looking across the lake in the morning with a nice breeze was heavenly. Fishing out on the pier laughing with family was even better. We night fished with a cool breeze and caught lots of fish. But released them all. It was was an awesome fun filled weekend and we loved every minute. Thanks for the awesome weekend.

This is our second stay here. Loved it so much the first time. Second time did not disappoint. Perfect layout. Patio is huge. Great for lazy afternoons listening to birds, reading and relaxing. Pier is nice. Had fun fishing off the pier and kayaking. Kitchen appliances are top notch. We will be back again and again.

House is beautiful and set up to entertain, beautiful property and plenty of area for dogs and children to play, boat shed is set up for a family to relax on or in the water and has everything needed to accommodate fishing and boating. Catch all the brim and catfish you want right off the dock. If you care to venture out in a boat there is a nice sandy beach 5 mins away. 100% going back!!!!

We love the property. The patio area had shade the entire stay. It was breezy and relaxing. The dock is fantastic and the floating dock is especially great for small children to swim off of. We enjoyed the convenience of a parking area for our boat and launch right on the property. We will return.

This property is perfect. Inside had all the right amenities. The outside was the show stopper. Patio was roomy and comfortable. Pier, kayaks and hammock made it super easy to enjoy the water, weather, and birds. Already booked another stay.

We can’t say enough good things about this property. The house was clean, orderly and well furnished for our stay. The pier, private boat launch, boat lift and kayaks are a perfect touch to this tranquil piece of the lake. The location is a short drive to all local necessities, yet isolated from the busier areas of the lake. The fishing off the pier and bank was amazing! We caught many varieties of fish such as crappie, catfish, alligator gar and large mouth bass. The biggest being a nice 4 pound bass right off the shore. We will be back Kane times throughout the year!

What an amazing place right on the shores of Toledo Bend. As an angler that spends a lot of time traveling to fish all across the country, I can tell you it is one of the nicest places i've ever stayed. Plus it has its own boat ramp in the back yard!

The home is beautiful and very clean. Well stocked with any necessities you may need. We blessed on our first morning to have three flicks of geese fly in land on the lake right in front of the house. We loved our stay and will definitely visit again. A great place to relax.

We wanted to experience Toledo Bend so we chose this home because of the details on VRBO. We were more than pleased when we arrived. The place is so unique and comfortable. Also super clean! We brought our boat so having a boat ramp on the property was so convenient. We loved sitting on the back patio enjoying all the wildlife.The views from the property are fantastic. This place was more than amazing, pictures trust me do no justice you have to see it for yourself to understand how wonderful it is. We give this place a 5 star, its very clean, and the look inside and out is so unique, and you are not left wanting for nothing they provide everything. Everything was turn key with this rental. We had everything we needed from start to finish along with added benefits others don't provide. Location perfect, house layout perfect, outdoor seating, private boat launch, adequate parking, just everything perfect. Absolutely loved this place!!! Just as described and more! The hosts are wonderful to deal with. I left my makeup bag when we checked out and Mr. Tim went out of his way to meet us to return it. We will definitely be staying here again in our near future.
