IMPORTANT WINTER INFORMATION :
**Should you travel to the Methow during the winter months it is important to understand that you must be prepared for winter driving(keep chains, shovel...in the car) and all the inconveniences it causes you and the community you are visiting. There are a limited number of plow companies and Methow Reservations nor the owners of the house are in control of the plow company schedules. They have many different contracts and many miles of roads, driveways...to plow. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. Your cooperation and patience are required especially after any significant snow accumulation. Should you get stuck you can call Classic Towing in Twisp, WA
**Propane Fireplace--should there be tech issues or the propane fireplace upon your arrival please send a message through Airbnb. Methow Reservations and the owner will try to troubleshoot and remedy the problem. If the problem requires a part or there is an issue with the propane company that may take longer that your stay, NO REFUNDS will be given.

I would recommend this place and stay again. It was extremely hot weather for my trip and the unit has A/C but only downstairs which made sleeping upstairs very difficult for me and others. Definitely needs a minisplit system to keep upstairs cool.

We were in town for the jazz weekend and to visit friends and found the location perfectly situated to do both. It was over 100 every day we were there, so the downstairs AC was great. Upstairs got a little warm, but I think those types of temperatures are unusual. We would stay there again.

Came over for the Sun Mountain 25K. This location is close, a little over a mile from town. Very close to the main supermarket and wonderful pizza at Highway 20 pizza. We walk to the bakery for coffee and breakfast and then downtown. It was clean, convenient and well equipped.

The photos of this house do not do it justice. We had a very pleasant stay. The house was in great shape. The neighborhood was very quiet. We had a wonderful time where we had our family under one roof instead of split in a couple hotel rooms. I would definitely stay here again. I can't speak to how responsive the hosts are because we had no need to contact them as everything was all set for us.

We were here for my older son’s hockey tournament - traveling with a food allergy sibling so we needed a full kitchen. This house was perfect! Immaculate, everything seemed brand new. Extremely comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen - everything we needed and more.
