It was a beautiful apartment and so comfortable with everything you could need for a short stay.

The property's luxury tagline didn't really live up the reality of the lived experience.

We had a lovely meal up at the Parks Inn which is about a 10 minute walk up the hill. It's not a fancy venue, but serves a really good pub meal with decent portion sizes. Would happily eat there again.

I hadn't appreciated the location was in the middle of a very modern, and seemily ex-local authority, housing estate which didn't jive with expectation set by the online description. I really ought to have checked the location out for myself when booking and not be seduced by the listing details. That aside, which is obviously outside of the hosts' control, I'd constructively comment that: - There was minimal storage in the bedrooms (having a couple of hooks attached to the wall, with hanger dangling from it, in one of the bedrooms doesn't suffice in my view). - A mirror in the bathroom to help with shaving would be a great addition. - The sofa downstairs is super uncomfortable and if you had 4 adults staying in the property, there really isn't enough room for them all to be seated comfortably. (You could pull out the round dining table which is tucked under the stairs but it isn't what you expect from a highly rated property). - The BBQ uses solid fuel rather than being gas fired. It was also rather rusty and unloved. Honestly, for the money this fell a bit short and we didn't bother using it - especially as there wasn't any BBQ charcoals to hand. I appreciate the owners seeking to set a positive marketing tone for the property, but I think on this occasion it may have tipped into a little but of hubris - especially for the money being charged for our stay.

Could do with chair in the bedroom and the bathroom Wife could not do her make up not suitable lights or mirror Grab handles would be nice around the bath area Wash hand basin has a fixed tap which makes it difficult to wash face

Luxurious accommodation

Beautiful accommodation, felt very luxurious and a real treat to stay somewhere different. Near town so can walk to pubs, shops but beautiful countryside also close by. Handy too to have an enclosed garden for the dog.

Comfortable, easy to get to, plenty of parking, amenities are spot on, hot tub is very nice.

The apartment is decorated to a high standard with a really modern appeal. Very comfortable and has all the things you need. Little things like sharp knives and dishwasher tablets make life that little bit easier on arrival.

Some minor damage to the hot tub cover, but I have raised this with the owners. Otherwise there was not much to dislike.

Hot tub was a great addition. Unfortunately it rained more that we liked so did not use a much as we could have. Not the weather for the BBQ but at a different time of year this property has many features to make the stay great.

Absolutely perfect. Seriously.

Literally perfect. It’s a genuinely lovely home, which was remarkably clean. It was very high spec, with a brilliant spotless kitchen with dishwasher and lovely cooking facilities. It was completely painfree to checkin, it was very secure and very easy to find.

Honestly - nothing. It was very warm and the heating was always on, but I’m sure we could have worked out how to change the thermostat if we’d wanted to! Would have also loved a recycling bin - but it wasn’t an issue!

The property was so nice throughout. Beds extremely comfy. It was exactly as it was displayed online. The hot tub was amazing.

The 10am checkout is a bit early.

Fabulous luxury apartment

Beautiful apartment fitted out to a very high standard. Hot tub was great and lovely light and spacious living room/ kitchen. Excellent communication from the owner via email before and during our stay.

Everything. Absolutely stunning. Lot of attention clearly been put into the property. Beds and bedding sumptuous Soft furnishings high end and the curtains round that bay window were magnificent So pleased we came across this property

Wonderful and will be back!

Beautiful apartment, relaxing stay in Buxton

Beautiful apartment, extremely comfortable beds and everything you need for a short stay. High quality fixtures and fittings. Quiet spot within walking distance of a pub that serves food. The owner Laura and her team were very friendly and professional and went over and above to make sure everything was perfect. Great base for visiting the area.

Luxurious stay at the Crescent Suite 10/10

We stayed at the Crescent Suite with friends in February 2024, and we can't recommend it highly enough. The Muse Escapes Team were excellent, sending instructions ahead of our stay, communicating during our stay, and being incredibly kind and posting us a forgotten item after our stay. The Crescent Suite was so luxurious and had everything we needed - part of me wished it was further away from town so we didn't need to leave at all during our stay! The furniture and equipment throughout the property is of the highest quality - beautiful velvet sofas, a great big dining table, extremely comfortable beds, and luxurious showers. All the kitchen equipment was of higher quality than you'd have in your own home! We took great enjoyment in cooking delicious meals, lolling in the hot tub and sipping wine in front of our wood burner. The Crescent Suite was perfect for two couples - the upstairs suite is so luxurious, but the downstairs bedroom, shower room and lobby are also luxurious. It's a really spacious property, and we had all the space and privacy we could ask for. If walking is your thing, it's less than 5 mins walk to the fields that bring you up to Solomon's Temple. Thank you for a wonderful break - we will be recommending to anyone who will listen!

Fabulous property - would recommend to others.

We stayed in the Miller Dale suite Beautiful apartment, very well equipped, stylish and comfortable.

Only comment is that there was an already opened carton of milk in the fridge which we chose not to use as no idea how long it had been there and not particularly keen on using milk someone else has already opened. Would have preferred small UHT cartons perhaps.

Sensational

Sensational apartment, beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable. It was exceptionally clean. The apartment was well stocked in terms of toiletries and kitchen equipment. The welcome touch of Buxton coffee was lovely. I would definitely like to stay here again! Absolutely gorgeous.

Beautifully appointed and comfortable split level accommodation with stylish furnishings which felt luxurious and indulgent. Lots of very helpful information in the guide book and online. Greeted with freshly ground coffee and Prosecco.

Beautiful apartment, poor response from owners

The apartment is superbly decorated, opulent even. Excellent designer wallpaper and contents, beautiful wall hangings (William Morris) , quiet and relaxing. Access and check in were easy.

The skylight blinds were unaccessible on the bedrooms, our daughter managed to close the one in her bedroom, however the one in our bedroom was permanently open and letting in light from early morning. There was no extended stock to reach, and no electronics close switch. I have asked the owners, Laura, for comment and not had any response. The owners own many properties in Buxton , I felt they were understaffed at the time to give enough care or advice, for whatever reason I was ignored.
