We had a great time but we found it difficult with 2 cars and our dogs

Lovely cottage very nice welcome pack with a central location

The parking was a nightmare, one of the neighbours gave us grief about our dogs even though they were on lead at all times. She said she had issues in the past The "garden " was full of furniture so useless in the winter and if you have dogs.

Beautiful Comfy Cottage

Location was fabulous. The cottage was situated in a secluded and quiet area,but it was right in the centre of town close to all the amenities. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. We loved the under floor heating in the bathroom and the goodie pack. The neighbours were very friendly.

Lovely comfortable cottage, shame about the dog hair

Really well presented comfortable cottage with lots of extra touches and mod cons making it very welcoming. Brilliant location close to town but quiet and peaceful. Brilliant and friendly communication from the host.

As the property welcomes dogs, the sofa and rug in the lounge were covered in dog hairs. As my husband suffers from Asthma this did cause him some issues.

Lilac cottage is more than just a base to see Northumbria - it's a delight to return to each day.

Lilac cottage was gorgeous! Fabulous location that was so central, and yet you felt like you were in the countryside! The cottage is beautifully done out, with solid furnishings and delightful decor. Susie is a very generous host. We didn't want to leave!

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Lilac cottage is lovely and homely and welcoming.

The lovely cottage was equipped with everything you could hope for, but the best was the double and especially the king size bed.

for us nothing, Susie at the end of the phone if needs.

Lovely Lilac cottage

The location was great. Very quiet with beautiful garden. Near to restaurants and shops. Great for exploring Northumberland.

Nothing. Limited car parking at address as we had 2 cars but we did know about this when we booked.

Cozy cottage in great area

Great location with good size rooms and pretty little garden. Host available quickly online and left surprise treats which we appreciated. Kitchen fully equipped and included dishwasher and laundry.

Sadly the previous guest had 2 dogs and the place was covered in pet hair despite the host having in cleaned ahead of time. Not the hosts fault at all and she did apologize but made it so my Dad couldn’t stay long due to allergies and our clothing was covered in hair from the couches, floors and chairs. We managed but anyone with allergies would not have been able to stay. I knew the place was pet friendly but did recommend to the host that they say anyone with pet allergies should not book.
