We love this house so much I don’t want to leave a review - because we hope to book it again in the future. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that is accessible to everything in and around Huntsville very quickly - and also Cathedral Caverns and spots for good hiking, if those are your interests. Grocery stores are within 10 minutes drive. There was plenty of comfortable space to sleep and relax. Overall one of my favorite vacation rentals. We definitely enjoyed the unique feel of the dome spaces. The layout and furnishings really work well in the space.

What an unusual fun home under tall trees. Quiet neighborhood and close to town. The rooms were large and open with furniture arranged for conversation. My Husband and I never used the rooms upstairs and were comfortable in our master suite on first floor. The stairs would be steep for elderly guests, but great for kids and younger adults. Lots of dining space. Nice kitchen appliances. Plenty of parking for several cars. We called ahead and requested lights be on for our late arrival in the dark, and we appreciated that home was lit. Took us a few days to figure out the many light switches- labelling them would be helpful! Thanks for fun visit.

This could be an amazing place to stay if the following happens: A repairman HAS to visit! The deck is falling apart, the bed frames are broken!!!, the downstairs shower has holes in it, the board under the downstairs bedroom sink is not attached, many light bulbs are burned out. Also to have a good place to stay you cannot take the cheap man's route: Leave more than 1 trash bag per day, fill the soap dispensers (They shouldn't be almost empty fill them up every time a new guest comes) leave more than 1/4 of a roll of paper towel. Stock the toilet paper. It just felt like you were trying to do the minimum and for the money we spent we should be able to use more than 1 squirt of soap a day. And please put in a sharp knife. If you have a kitchen it is essential that at least one knife is sharp enough to cut an onion. (There are quite a few sharp looking knives but we tried everyone of them they aren't even as sharp as a butter knife.) And once again since Insaw another review about this....FIX THE BED FRAMES!!!!!! They are broken. It's hard to relax and enough your stay when you can't even turn over when you sleep because the frame is broken and you're about to hit the floor. Also the power doesn't work in the loft.

I was looking for a large home to accommodate an extended family gathering for a funeral in Huntsville. This house seemed to check all the boxes - slept 17, had plenty of space, was in a good location, and was an interesting home. We arrived at 4 pm to check in and the cleaning crew was still at the home with at least 45 minutes of cleaning yet to be completed. The second concern was that the house did not reflect the online photos. Specifically, no area rugs were in any of the common rooms as featured in the online images. The plants that are in the large living room are either dead or dying. Why? If you can't care for the plants, how about replacing them with artificial ones? Seeing dead plants really diminished the appeal. The downstairs bathroom in the master should be listed as not being private - it's located as an extension of the bedroom. The shower in the master bath is large but needs some attention. Again, the photos and reality don't align. Finally, there should be a 'warning' on the acoustics of this unique property. With the exception of the two bedrooms with a door and ceiling, there is no way anyone can sleep if anyone else in the house is up and talking. We made the best of it, which should be noted in the description. I was disappointed that the house did not live up to the photos. However, we selected this house to accommodate a very large family gathering. From that aspect, the property met our expectations.

It was a decent location for a short family vacation. The check in process was more involved than other places I've stayed before. The house was big enough to accommodate my family, but we didn't get to use the outdoor amenities due to rain (which kind of dampened our experience of the full property). A couple of the beds were unstable; my grandmother almost injured herself twice dealing with the master bed on the main floor. The cleanliness was disappointing, as the outdoor trash bins were full upon arrival, there were still beer bottles on/under the porch from previous tenants, there were syrup residue on nightstands, and a very large cockroach greeted us in the kitchen during our initial tour of the house. There weren't enough paper towels or kitchen hand towels or bath towels, so we had to go to the store to get more. Overall the location was the most beneficial aspect as well as the dates of availability. Everything else didn't meet expectations.
