About this house rental
Summary:
Our comfortable three bedroomed semi-detached house is located in Langford Village a desirable residential area of Bicester. The house is excellently; located for both Bicester Town centre and Bicester Shopping Village (less than 10-minute walk to each). You therefore have a whole host of shops and restaurants all within a short walk away. The house is situated in a quiet area overlooking green space. It has three bedrooms and sleeps up to five people.
The Space:
Ground Floor
Kitchen/Diner
Our kitchen-diner is the heart of the house and allows all guests to enjoy the social space together. The table comfortably seats five people. The fully equipped kitchen incudes everything to make your stay as easy as possible. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, gas hob, full-length fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and more.
W/C
In the hallway of the house there is a W/C with a wash basin. This handy facility means you don’t have to go upstairs to use the bathroom and makes life easier when there is a full house.
Living Room
Our good-sized living room boasts a nice sofa alongside an armchair to relax in. You can log in to your own Netflix/Amazon Prime account on the Smart TV so you can continue to binge watch your favourite programmes if you desire.
Conservatory
This additional space is a great alternative area for people to spill out into
First Floor
Bedroom 1 (Master - King)
The master bedroom offers a luxurious king-sized bed with an ensuite shower room. There is a dressing table/desk, and a built-in wardrobe. There is also a hairdryer available.
Ensuite
The ensuite has a toilet, sink and shower. Also provided are towels, hand soap and body wash.
Bedroom 2 (Double)
This bedroom has a double bed and a built-in wardrobe
Bedroom 3 (Single)
The third bedroom has a single bed, a hanging rail, and a dressing table/desk.
Family Bathroom
The bathroom has a bath, a toilet, a sink, and a shower over the bath. We provide hand soap and body wash as well as towels for each guest.
Outdoor Area
The private garden is a great place to enjoy the sunshine. The area can be accessed through the patio doors from the conservatory and has a back gate which leads out to the front of the house. There is an ash tray situated outside where used cigarettes must be placed and it should be noted that there is no smoking inside the house.
Parking
There are two off-street parking spaces in front of the garage, which can be accessed by driving past the house. The house’s garage is the second garage on the right (the left hand one when you look at the two garages. You should see the house number on the bins in front of the garage. There is also on-street parking outside the house for any additional vehicles. (Please be considerate of the neighbours)
Location and Local Amenities
The house is in a very convenient location. In a less than a ten-minute walk you can be shopping in designer outlet Bicester Village or in Bicester town centre. There are lots of children’s play parks, sports fields, and nice parks/walks very close by. The town also has a cinema, leisure centre and an indoor trampoline park for the active ones.
Located in Bicester, the house has fantastic links to the amenities in the town and beyond. Bicester North train station goes from London, through to Birmingham and links to the North. The house is less than 10 minutes’ walk to Bicester Village train station which takes you to Oxford and you are only a 50-minute ride away from London city centre. Local bus routes are also easily accessible.
There are many attractions in the area which are well worth a visit. Oxford City Centre and Blenheim Palace are both only a 25-minute drive from the house and each of them make a great day out with all the history, architecture, and culture to explore. The house isn’t far from the Cotswolds and Silverstone racing track. Head to the National Trust website to discover all the nearby properties in the area that also make a great day out.
If you’re a foodie and prefer to eat out or grab a takeaway, you won’t be disappointed by the selection of food outlets in the local area. As well as an array of local pubs, coffee houses and fast-food outlets that are within walking distance, you can also choose from plenty of different cuisines including Chinese, Turkish, Italian, Thai, Indian and more.
