The house seems to be most popular for parties. It does not have Rokus in every bedroom or direct TV as advertised. Vacasa won’t provide any reliable on site help, either. Better off booking with a local realtor!

Everything was accurate as advertised, well stocked, clean, a great stay for a group of 8 ppl, (max 10 ppl - the pull out sofas for +2 ppl did not feel very comfortable). Home had a high ceilings, beautiful kitchen, and large driveway to park 4 cars.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It's located close to a lot of places for anyone's vacation interests. The house was clean and spacious. The area is beautiful and the whole family loved waking up to seeing the fawns in the yard.
The host communication pre-stay was well-thought and thorough. The communication with them during the stay via the text through Vacasa was very easy.
Regarding the 17-mile drive security gate, we had NO problems from security. Everything was exactly as described in the pre-stay communication. I think you have to phrase it exactly as in the text, as I almost saw a lightbulb turn on above security when I told them.
Here are a few very minor things that we always prepare for, but you may need to know. There aren't many tissues in the house; you'll want to bring your own. If you're staying longer than 4 days, have a large group, and are not used to the fancy toilets, expect to buy more toilet paper before the end of your stay. There are few wastebins, so for than 5 people, expect to be rotating them often. These had no negative impact on our stay.
Accessibility: every room and hallway is spacious enough for a wheelchair/walker to get around. The entryway to the front door has two standard height steps, with a landing after the first step, enough room for a walker or ramp use (though you'd need two ramps). Garage door was narrow and a high step, moderate for a walker, but a no-go for a wheelchair.

The location of the home was perfect. We really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was. The beach was only about 5-10 minutes away which made trips back to and from the home ideal since we had multiple children. The house was extremely spacious and the kitchen dining area fit our large family perfectly. The only real downside to the home would have to be that I wished there were a few more kitchen utensils, and better cookware/bakeware. Other than that we will definitely be staying again whenever we are in the area.

First, this house is clean and in a great location near the Lodge at Pebble Beach and golf courses. My hope would be that the owners spend some time there and see what is missing (property is managed by (Vacasa). Screens on windows, curtains (especially in the bathrooms), toilet seats affixed to bowls, and a dresser, bureau or a luggage rack in bedrooms (there is nothing to unpack in). Some art, cookie sheets and gadgets in the kitchen, outdoor table or at least seating that is equal to 6-8 people would be great. The kitchen and LR design is great, but a book on how things work (fridge icemaker, AC, etc.) would be helpful. Please get rid of the motion sensor light that turns off and on intermittently!!!

My friends and I hoped for a lovely weekend get away in the Carmel area and that's exactly what we got.
House was perfectly located, 10 minute drive from downtown Carmel. We could easily Uber/Lyft to and from, even though it was in a gated community.
It was a beautiful house, exactly as listed. 4 main bedrooms & one office with 2 twin pullouts (not super comfortable). 3 great bathrooms, and great public spaces (living room, dining room, kitchen, porch and back yard).
We did not have any challenges or issues that required us to communicate with the management. However, below are are a few helpful suggestions for Vacasa and future guests.
1) The kitchen is fully stocked - plates, cups, dishes, silverware, knives, pots, etc. - they even had an instant pot! - It would be great if Vacasa could list this.
2) There were enough towels for a 7 people for the weekend, but no extra. - It would be great if Vacasa could list this and provide a couple extra in a closet somewhere if needed.
3) Other than dishwasher tablets, laundry pods and dish soap no other supplies are provided (e.g., broom, windex, all-purpose cleaner, etc.) - It would be great if Vacasa could provide this, but in the mean time if you are worried about needing these things, bring your own.
4) Lastly, we are a group that loves our wine, there were only 4 wine glasses, and 4 tumblers (which we had to use). It would be great if for a house of 10 more could be provided.

Had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful location perfect for the avid Golfer. Just minutes from Poppy Hills Golf Course. The property was perfect for our group of golfers and the amenities were perfect. No complaints!

Very nice property very clean uncomfortable. Three adult couples were very comfortable there since we each had our own bathrooms. We all slept well on the comfortable beds. The bedroom nearest the kitchen and the garage was a bit chilly and we were not able to raise the heat. Also, in that bedroom there were some ants. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this space for three couples or a family of six.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this home. It’s a perfect location to enjoy Pebble Beach and the surrounding areas. The house is spacious with plenty of room for everyone. We had no issues entering the Pebble Beach gates as long as we provided our address and the name our reservation was under. The beds were very comfy. A few upgrades would make this home 5 stars such as more towels, a bit more privacy in one of the bathrooms and a few extra stocked essentials, but overall we would stay here again.

Pebble Beach is one of our favorite spots, so as my husband and I were both celebrating big birthdays, this is where we wanted to bring our family. I'm so glad I picked this property! All 7 of us fit very comfortably in the house. It's a gorgeous location! The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It exceeded my expectations and made our stay in Pebble Beach so enjoyable. Would definitely book again!

Overall we enjoyed the home and may stay again but would have to bring some things from home that were lacking (i.e. potato masher, more wine glasses, more towels, hot pads, better paper towels & t.p. etc.)
Pros: large, spacious, and comfortable beds for our family of six.
Cons: Dining chairs are super hard and uncomfortable. Thermostat was auto set to 90*, while we figured out how to turn it down we couldn't figure out how to stop the auto set to 90*. The house was cavernous and loud without any carpeting or other soft surfaces.

On the positive side, the house was pretty much as it looks in the photos. Lots of room and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with serving and cookware. It is in a beautiful quiet location. Beds were comfortable. In good weather, the back deck would be great.
Some reviews complained about Pebble Beach gate access. You need to completely read the long information document they send you to find out that when you arrive, you let the gate guard know you are in a vacation rental and give them your name and the address. You pick up your gate passes at the Spanish Bay concierge.
In the document they also tell you that they have installed an undersized on demand water heater - they suggest that people stagger their showers to have enough hot water.
There were a number of signs that no one is following up on small repairs. E.g., other reviews mentioned a broken window shade in the study. That still has not been fixed.
Small amenities that sound petty but make the house feel cold and unwelcoming. No rugs. No pictures. Not quire enough bedding - there was a quilt missing for one of the foldout beds in the study. Listing is for 10 people but there are only 7 dining chairs. There are no dressers or luggage racks. I've rented many vacation homes and never had one without a single box of tissues or even coffee for one day.
The house is very close to being great but falls short. We'll look for another place next time we're visiting Monterey.

This home is beautiful and sits on a very large lot in a quiet neighborhood. We were visited by a doe and her 2 fawns in the backyard every morning.
The information provided on the Vacasa app and text messages makes the entire check in, house operations, and check out easy. I'm used to finding a paper manual to provide this info, but it's much more convenient to have on your phone.
The weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy time at the beach, Spyglass and Ocean Ave (as well as Crossroads and the Barnyard). A wonderful way to spend a long weekend with friends.

House is great. Clean. Good amenities. Just hope you don’t have any issues cause it won’t get taken care of and you’ll be left in the dark. messaging from Vacasa is not consistent and in someways just lies.
Here are the issues we had during our stay.
1 Getting into Pebble Beach: pebble beach has toll roads which require visitors to pay for a day pass to enter. Per Vacasa’s own messaging, since you are staying in the house that you should never have to pay. They said we needed to ask Vacasa to put us on a list. When we asked to be put on the list (normal for every time we stay in Pebble) Vacasa said they won’t put us on the list. Instead they would provide two passes (already against what they said. And difficult to manage if you have more than two cars). They never told us where to pick up the passes just to get it at the concierge. My 70 year old mother paid at one of the gates when the attendant said it was standard practice for Vacasa to reimburse us. They are still decided if they want to even tho there instructions said just provide our name, address and length of stay and we should be fine. Never the case.
2. Someone showed up in the middle of the stay to build a fence around the house. Nice to pay so much to stay in a construction site.
3. They never took out the trash from the previous guest. Make it difficult to manage your own.
Vacasa never helped us with any of these issues. More annoying than anything else. Still a bummer to deal with.

We checked in with no problems but then discovered the back door would not lock. I reached out to Vacasa and was told someone would contact us to fix it. We waited until nighttime calling twice more and were never contacted. My husband decided to sleep on the couch in the living room not comfortable leaving our family in the unlocked house. The second bathroom did not have a blind in the window so you could not shower unless you wanted to give the neighbors a show. So we had to share the bathroom in the master which did not drain. You get 4 minutes tops before it is nearly overflowing. The batteries in the thermostat were out so we could not change the temp in the house. It was in the 50's on our end and really hot on the other. The next morning we were contacted saying they would be there around 11. Unfortunately, bad storms were in the area and a tree fell on the property, It knocked the power out on the property. We notified Vacasa and the city came out and said it would be at least 24-48 hours. No one showed up at 11 to repair the lock, so as we sat in a home with no power we decided to leave. We had items in the washer which we could not retrieve because the washer locks when it lost power, and when I asked about retrieving the item I received no reply. When I contacted Vacasa about getting a partial refund or a full refund I was told they did not give out refunds because it was not their fault the home lost power it was an act of nature. I was expected to stay in an unlocked home with no power or control of the temp I guess?
