LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE. Gorgeous rooms, well appointed, incredibly spacious & comfortable. Brophy's bar is sensational. Amazing cookies and breakfast in the lobby. Fabulous location walking distance to the beach and main part of town.
The fact that we had to leave - would have loved to stay longer.
4.1
Very walkable to downtown and the beach, reasonable amenities fee for access to parking, jacuzzi, breakfast and afternoon cookies/sangria.
Our room was on the bottom floor and we could hear every noise from the upstairs unit.

location
a bit too pricey for the accommodation provided
4.1
Ample and clean rooms. Beautiful property. Jacuzzi was great for relaxing after a long day and food at the bar on the property was great (and so were drinks and service). Loved the architecture and layout of the rooms and outside seating areas.
We had a price difference when checking out (which booking later fixed), and although personnel was very accessible and tried to help (they also reduced USD 50 from the USD 160 difference), the situation could have been handled much differently, with less stress, more time and without us feeling hostages of the situation as the hotel could charge us anyway with our card on file. Could have been avoided with the proper procedure at check in.

The staff is absolutely wonderful and offered lots of information about the area. The rooms were immaculate and very warm and inviting as were the grounds. Brophy’s Tavern is connected and has a great menu and ambiance. We loved our stay and would return!

The fire pit
It felt like an average motel
Lack of ammenities
Didn’t feel like a hotel at all and for the price I would have expected a lot more

Fire place. Comfy bed.
2nd floor walk up and no one to help with my very heavy luggage.

great location.
most of the staff was friendly
looks much more stylish on pictures than it really is.
4.1
charming cottage type atmosphere. walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach.
Although clean, renovated and well decorated, the buildings are a little old. We were on the top floor and the floor by the sink was soft and squeaky. No air conditioning but the average person won’t need it. Just open a window. Floor fan was provided. I didn’t like that the bathroom window was big enough for someone to come thru. The lock was broken on mine. Room 209. My husband would have liked a microwave in the room and a bigger breakfast.

The lobby and outdoor areas were pleasant. The breakfast was nice.
The hotel room itself felt old and dated. It needed a refresh. The shower was terrible.
