Lupe, who prepared the daily breakfast, could not do enough to ensure that we enjoyed an exceptional stay. The location is incredible and the views are the best in Puerto Escondido.
The property could provide insect repellent; however, the mosquito netting in the rooms worked perfectly.

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! The architecture is incredible and pool is stunning. Lupe, the housekeeper was also delightful and a very good cook. Couldnât recommend this hotel more highly

Beautiful pool and common area, staff is super friendly, breakfast âhome-cookedâ and different every day. Filtered water available. Great atmosphere. Rooms are simple but bright and airy (screen doors only).
Despite not being too far from restaurants, parts of the way are really really dark with large dogs roaming around. They didnât do anything but walking to and from the Casa wasnât super comfortable.
4.6
Lupe cooked excellent traditional food every morning; 5 minute walk to the beach; beautiful architecture, pool and views.
Nothing.

Lupe was great. Lucie, the pet was lovely.
More Privacy and AC. A back up for Power( batteries or Generator ) when Electricity is out from the city.

The swimming pool is absolutely gorgeous, the view is stunning. The house has everything you need including drinkable water!! The room was nice and we loved that you are âaloneâ when in your room. No one can see you.
the breakfast time is very strict and sometimes the food can be frustrating meaning that thereâs not really a choice. Lupe cooks really good, but we would have appreciated more choices for breakfast knowing the price that you pay. One zucchini with cheese and tomatoes is not what I call a breakfast. The room doesnât have AC which can be a problem in warm summer nights.
Note that the house is a bit isolated, so anywhere you want to go youâll need a taxi.
Finally, the owners of the house were there (they stay at the house 6 months / year), so you kinda feel like thereâs always someone watching you since they are almost all the time in the house. You can still enjoy your holidays though!

nice pool, nice view. close to the beach
treated me like a CRIMINAL bc I left my dog in the hotel roomâŚStas (the on site Manager) was so rude and unprofessional
They assured me they are âpet friendlyâ but trust me, they are NOT pet friendly at all.
They have a rule where youâre not allowed to leave your dog in the room unattended - naturally, this is not a pet friendly policy. It reaches 90 degrees and extremely humid during the day - my small dog overheats easily and it is simply ridiculous to ask that I risk my dogs health and take him to the beach when he canât survive in that heat (or assume that I would bring him with me horseback riding, kayaking, etc etc..)
Do not if not stay here if youâre traveling with your pet.
On my last day here they KICKED ME OUT for violating their âdog-must-not-in-room-aloneâpolicyâŚso bizarre
The manager literally told me to get out of the pool, and proceeded to tell me that I was being kicked off the premises.
It was humiliating and such poor âhospitality.â
Also the âwork areaâ is a jokeâŚ.itâs literally just a couch (no tables, only one outlet) so definitely wouldnât recommend if youâre planning to work here either.

The property was beautiful (as were the views), and was in a great location to access beaches and restaurants. Lupe was a ray of sunshine and her breakfasts were delicious! Christine was a great host and we will definately be back!

This lovely property overlooked a gorgeous & busy bay, right below us. Each day there was a lovely breeze and great views.
The rooms were on the small side & spartan. This didnât bother us but maybe an issue for travelers looking for lots of amenities.

The view is absolutely stunning and the pool is a dream come true.
It's slightly far away from downtown but not too bad.

What a dream of a place! So calm, so beautiful and I love love the shared space where breakfast is cooked every morning by the sweetest of lady that will greet you with the biggest smile. It felt like homeâŚwhile being in paradise. Highly recommend for a solo retreat or a romantic escape ;)
Not able to work in the shared areas, but honestly thatâs probably for the bestâŚyou donât want that place to become a coworking space

The place is stunning. Interior and view are breathtaking
You can not stay at the premises at the check-out. we were organizing our car and we were made to leave. Wouldnât recommend the place if you habe a late flight/ transport

We had such a lovely stay at Casa Cascada, so relaxing. Such a special place with lovely views of the beach. Breakfast was really good too! Thank you Lupe. Would recommend :)

Staff and owner were super helpful in lots of extraordinary ways including local recommendations, and working out visa issues. Location was perfect; close to enough (for us) to walk to several swimmable beaches, various restaurants and city center. We didn't cook, but the shared kitchen is well stocked and pool deck is gorgeous with an epic sunset views.
Price is higher than the cheapest options in surrounding area, but for our romantic weekend it provided the right balance of privacy vs shared-space and luxury vs utility.
