Ottima soluzione per visitare la città

Struttura veramente pulita e ben arredata. Camera spaziosa con un bel bagno. Locali in comune veramente spaziosi e super accessoriati. Posizione comoda per il centro di Reykjavík. Parcheggi gratuito proprio di fronte all’ingresso

Tout était propre et entretenu

L’annonce s’appelle « Apartments Reykjavík » mais nous ne réservons pas un appartement mais des chambres en réalité et le reste est commun. C’est mensonger. Une seule salle de bain à disposition pour 5 chambres qu’il faut partager avec des personnes que nous connaissons pas et du coup obligé de se laver à des heures tardives pour éviter de tomber sur quelqu’un (sachant que pour la fermer à clé c’est très compliqué et pas très sûr). On nous demande de laisser nos chaussures devant la porte de l’appartement, alors qu’encore une fois on connaît personnes.. comment pouvons nous avoir confiance? Que pouvons nous ajouter? Ah oui bien sûr les travaux qui posent problème et les gens qui font du bruit à n’importe quelle heure alors qu’ils ne sont pas seuls..

L’emplacement était très bien, le rapport qualité prix est très très bien, la chambre est propre, le personnel très gentil. Tout était très bien !

That’s a hostel, not apartments

The location is pretty good

Almost everything. That’s a hostel, not apartments. Just one of 5 rooms with paper walls. You won’t sleep if someone moves. Also got wrong info regarding check-in (wrong code, cleaning staff didn’t open doors and so on)

A great base to explore Reykjavik

Really clean and comfortable, very warm - heated floor in the bathroom was very welcome after a day out in the snow. Very quiet and no issues with the guests in the other apartments.

De ruimte was goed, fijne plek.

Het bed was niet comfortabel en de hoogte van de tafel is niet fijn om langdurig aan te zitten. Prima verblijf voor vakantie! Tip: iets grotere en andere pannen, het eten past er amper in en brand heel snel aan.

L’appartement était propre et bien équipé. La salle de bain était pratique et propre. Environ 15min à pied du centre ville. Petit plus : chauffage au sol dans la salle de bain.

Bon lloc per visitar Reykjavík

Ampli, còmode, molt net i amb tot els estris que puguis necessitar.

Anuncien "Free parking" però en realitat el que haurien de dir és que aparcar al carrer no és difícil perquè normalment hi trobes lloc i no hi ha parkimetre. El "check out" a les 10 a.m. és una mica aviat, a l'hivern encara és fosc. Caldria dir que és un edifici de varies plantes sense ascensor per si algun client té dificultats de mobilitat.

Nice room, close to city center with tiny things to improve

Nice accommodation, spacious room with own bathroom. Kitchen was shared, but well equipped. City center is 15 mins walk.

The sound isolation could be improved, the guests in the next room were preparing early morning and we heard everything. You have to take off your shoes at the entrance, it would be nice to be offered some slippers.

Clean and tidy 1-room (studio) apartment in a convenient location.

Great communication from the host, and we loved the guidebook that was provided in the room. Location was also good, not too far from the center of town. Parking area got crowded at night but we were able to find a spot a bit up the street. Great directions, very easy to find. Be aware that its a ground-floor unit, but we felt very safe. Great for 1-2 people; would stay again!

No foyer or transitional area to shield you from the street; because its just the one room, when you open the front door passers-by can see your bed and even into the bathroom (if the bathroom door is open).

Very convenient comfortable accommodation with clean and tidy rooms.

The cleanliness was exceptional, very warm and tidy place. Large common kitchen with all the equipment you might need.

Room doors were not able to soundproof adequately, window blinds were broken so light was coming in.

Great choice in Reykjavik

We have stayed at apartment #5. It’s a nice size 1 bedroom apartment with a private bathroom. the kitchen was well equipped, very clean and convenient.

Marie Helena responded to my text immediatelly when we couldn't find the storage for luggage. She gave us a recommendation for breakfast. SHe had the room cleaned early and texted me that the room was ready!

The cleanliness of the apartment exceeded my expectations. Friendly host, good location, well equipped kitchen.

One bathroom is not enough for a shared apartment that can host so many people (5 rooms). My room was very small and the only reachable socket was broken.

Lovely 3rd floor apartment with private bathroom

Check-in video that the hostess provided us with is a great idea! This makes things very clear. The apartment (3rd floor) is spacious, clean, fully furbished kitchen (although we didn't use it, nor did we do any cooking). Apartment is conveniently located, within walking distance from the center of Reykjavik. After a week of traveling and sharing bathrooms with others, having one's own bathroom was a great feeling. Maria Helena is amazing! It was very easy to communicate with her, and we greatly appreciate her accommodation of our requests.

If you are traveling from the US and have a big luggage with you, then keep in mind that you will have to drag it up to a second or third floor on narrow, winding stairs (there is no elevator). Those who are light sleepers beware--the building has thin walls and noise carries through windows as well.

Convenient and very clean apartment with a great owner

Location is great--about 10-15 minutes walk to the center of town. Room was clean, kitchen is sparkly clean with lots of utensils, pots/pans, variety of spices, oils, vinegar, and tea/coffee options to choose from. Shared bathroom is also very clean and has a hot dry rack. Washing machine is in the kitchen. Room 3 bed was large and comfortable. Easy access (the hostess sends a video link to show how to self check-in, which is super helpful). Maria Helena is amazing! Every inquiry/request I had, she graciously accommodated. Maria Helena is a fantastic, empathetic, and understanding hostess. Thank you so, so much!

Depending on who is renting the other four (out of five) rooms on the second floor, it can get noisy (both in the kitchen and rooms/hallway since room/building walls are thin). Although room locks and doors have quirky (old) charm, when people open and close them, locking/unlocking (and door slamming) results in quite a bit of noise. This is especially problematic when people come back home from town late (after midnight) or leave very early in the morning (i.e., 4am). Having room doors open/close quietly might be a worthwhile investment in "upgrade." Five rooms (1-2 or more people per room) with just one shared bathroom available could be a challenge, especially if several people each shower taking up 15-20 min per person, while someone else needs to use a bathroom...

We enjoyed this apartment very much. There was everything we needed. The location is excellent, close to downtown and northern light view point. We saw amazing northern light show last night at a location just 8 minutes away from the apartment by driving. Highly recommend 👍
