Our family of 6 adults plus two dogs had the best time in this beautiful home and town! The house and cottage were perfect for us. The host thought of everything and provided many extras. The property is lovely and it was great being able to walk to town. The host was very prompt in responding to inquiries. Highly recommend this place!!!

There's so much to LOVE about this property! Everything is immaculate; the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need (and we're picky cooks); the appliances are high quality and the furnishings are lovely. We really enjoyed spending evenings on the back deck by the beautiful magnolia. At night, everyone loved their room and thought they had the most comfy bed, and the grands especially liked the additional cottage. During the day, we were able to visit Nags Head, the NC Aquarium, and a nearby Wildlife Refuge where we saw a bear. We knew we liked the charming community of Edenton, but now we also know exactly where we want to stay when we come back.

Great stay and a sweet little town. House was great.

Edenton did not disappoint, from the shops, to the farmers market and the historic sites. The house was very comfortable. My boys loved that the house was built in the late 1800s. It was nicely renovated too. The host did a great job assuring that we had everything that we needed.

What a fantastic stay in a lovely home. Our family came to Edenton after my graduation and we had such a lovely time. The historical home, well restored, and the games. I stayed in the cottage while everyone stayed in the main house.
We appreciated your flexibility in letting us stay for a couple more hours, which allowed my family who needed to finish work to do so. And the quick responses to questions was fantastic.
Thank you for sharing your lively home.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying in this very clean home walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We had our two dogs with us and the fenced in back yard was perfect for them. The rear deck with outdoor lighting and the guest cottage are very nice and the home could easily accommodate larger groups and families. The host was attentive and easy to contact. We highly recommend this house.

We really enjoyed our time in this cute historic home.
It was within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in the downtown area of Edenton.
Self check in was smooth and the house was nicely furnished and very comfortable. We appreciated how super clean it was.
It also had a cute outdoor space and separate small cottage in the back which our granddaughter loved.
We would consider coming back here in the future.

Myself and 2 other women were in the area for two golf tournaments. This house was a wonderful find, for sure! The home was exceptionally clean, was well stocked, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the games that were there from corn hole to Rummikub! The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were comfy! What more could one ask for? Nicole, you have a gem there! Thanks for sharing!!

We truly enjoyed our time at the Edenton Historic District property. Nicole was very responsive to any questions that we had. She left detailed instructions about the check-in/check-out process and responded to anything we needed during our stay. In addition, we were given suggestions about events and places to try in the area. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

This house is older but updated beautifully, with antique charm still intact. The hardwood floors were gorgeous, furniture was mostly antique (except for modern couches, which were large and comfy), with modern stainless steel appliances in kitchen. I enjoyed the decor and organization the whole time we were were there.
Check in was super easy and worked exactly as Nicole said it would.
We had planned to all stay in the main part of the house but our teen boys (19 and 17) decided to take the guest house out back. That house had two full size beds (I think) and a bathroom. Small but perfect for them, and well air conditioned. Street was quiet at night and we all slept like babies.
Nicole checked in with us as soon as we arrived to see if we needed anything. We did not, but it was good to know she was available.
The kitchen made cooking easy with all utensils and pots included. Coffee was delicious (ground local beans were provided and coffee pot made a good brew). Our family of five was able to eat around the dining room table comfortably.
At night we played jackbox games using an HDMI cable that we brought. Worked easily and had great family time together.
Neighbors were super friendly and waved at us as we came and went.
Loved the soft sheets, assortment of different pillows (I’m picky and forgot to bring my own, but was happy), shampoo, conditioner and soap all matching. There was lots of attention to detail here. We’d definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Easy to get in and out of town, especially nice to get a break from the heat. Very clean. Owner extremely responsive and reached out shortly after our arrival to make sure everything was good. We’ve visited Edenton a couple of times before and this was by far our favorite stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house has lots of historic charm, but is updated with all of the modern conveniences and is very comfortable and well appointed. It was also super clean, which we SO appreciate! Our adult kids really enjoyed staying in the cottage. It was too hot outside to enjoy the patio, but it would be fantastic when the temps are cooler.
It was fun to walk down the block to the Farmer's Market and check out the local fare. Downtown Edenton and the waterfront are lovely! A trip to the Outer Banks was only an hour and 15 minutes. Wish we had been able to stay longer!

Quite clean, comfortable, light and pleasant. The owner has gone beyond the norm to make the stay especially convenient, by providing cooking spices, aluminum foil, washing machine detergent, and so forth. Edenton is a most quite village with ultra friendly people, and this home fits perfectly into that scene. We would be happy to stay again and imagine doing so.

Not only did the house still have the quaint historic charm, the owners have done an excellent job in updating the entire home from the beautiful kitchen appliances and cabinets to each bathroom. The addition of the extra sleeping quarters in the back offer an excellent "getaway" for a couple or older children. My husband and I used this area as "ours" and what a wonderful night's rest we had! The house is perfectly furnished down to soaps, shampoos and coffee. The house is located less than a 5 minute drive to the beautiful water front and dinning area. We especially loved viewing the stately homes along the drive into town. A stay in this home will certainly make you reminisent of good times gone past and remind you of the famous town of "Mayberry" while allowing you to enjoy all the conveniences of modern day living. We had never been to Edenton before this trip but we are already making plans to return again!!

The house is located in a historic area of Edenton. The neighbors were friendly. The house was immaculate and extremely well maintained and decorated. There were 6 adults, we were able to eat all together in the dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The bedrooms were very comfortable. And there were many extras.
We were down for a ceremony to honor our Civil War Union heroes and the home added to the experience. We will be back!

Beautifully updated historic home was truly a wonderful experience for me and my mom and daughter. We had a quick 2 day getaway to charming Edenton and Nags Head was only an hour away. Comfy beds and plenty of space for the 3 of us. Loved the game room too. Highly recommend!

Great property, the cabin is a great bonus room for guests, but we ended up not using it. The deck, table seating area and gas propane chimnea were very nice.

Very well appointed cottage, with front porch and back deck. Ideal for couples or small family.
