About this house rental
Summary:
Welcome to our historic 100-year-old home near downtown Salt Lake City! As a legal duplex, enjoy complete privacy with a separate entrance. The fully equipped unit features a kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and a cozy living room. With a blend of history and modern comfort, your stay promises both independence and warmth. Explore downtown or unwind in our century-old gem for a memorable Salt Lake City experience.
The Space:
Our home is in the perfect location next to downtown Salt Lake City. Despite amazing urban access, our neighborhood is quite quaint, yet next to so many great spots! Parking in the driveway can be accommodated, but it is generally better to park on the street where parking is plentiful (and easier, our driveway is difficult to maneuver). Our management team is minutes from the home and there for guest help. Recently the bathroom was fully renovated and the rest of the space is updated as well! We are proud of our beautiful new space and appreciate guests who will treat it with care. What makes the space even better is our google fiber wifi in the home. This helps with working from the unit, or streaming your favorite shows on our smart TV.
Guest Access:
Enjoy the convenience of 1 private garage and a driveway for one vehicle. While roads are plowed, we recommend all-wheel or 4-wheel drive. Additional parking is available at the Village lot for a daily fee, with a short walk to the home. We hope you have a wonderful stay!
The Neighborhood:
Located in SLC's Downtown district, our home is a launch pad for the airport, Great Salt Lake, Wasatch Mountains, downtown (Temple Square) and ski resorts. We know Utah really well and love sharing tips — from skiing to national parks.
Getting Around:
There is public transportation but it is nice to have a rental car in this area.
Other Things to Note:
Food Nearby: At Trolley Square there are a wide variety of restaurants. Trolley Wing co has some of the best wings in the area! If you're with the family The Old Spaghetti Factory is a great family atmosphere. Perfect for date night would be the Desert Edge Brewery! Lots of options in the area, let me know if you'd like any other options? If you want some healthy groceries to cook in our fully stocked Kitchen there is a Whole Foods Market as well! Walking distance to all of these options makes for a fun night out!
Interaction with Guests:
Our reservations team is on from 8am-8pm (MST). The guest booklet located inside of the home will also provide you with emergency contact information if needed during the stay.

The pictures don’t do it justice, it is much bigger and more charming than expected. The house was completely stocked with everything one needs during an extended stay…. laundry pods, kitchenware including paper towels and garbage bags, towels, soap etc, etc. Bring your personal items and some groceries and your home!
Close to so many restaurants and grocery stores, beautiful quiet neighborhood.
We plan on using the house again soon.

Great location on a nice and quiet street. The front porch and the floors inside were a bit dirty, but not a major problem. Some coffee for the Keurig would also have been nice as well as an ice tray in the freezer. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again.

The house was wonderful. Clean, airy with high ceilings, comfortable yet simple decor.
Kitchen had everything we needed to cook healthy meals from scratch. Close to restaurants, hospital and events. We look forward to our next stay.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay at the Trolley Square house managed by Private Vacations.
There was an issue with the keypad before we arrived but it was resolved within minutes. The house is on 600 East, in a shady, nice walkable neighborhood & close to lots of stores, restaurants, & Orange Theory ( fitness gym). We would definitely stay here again.

A perfect place to stay - I was visiting for a conference at the University of Utah, and it was a wonderful retreat in the city. The street is lovely, walking distance to a beautiful park, and only a few minutes from campus. All the amenities I needed, and an amazing bathroom with a gigantic bathtub. I was confused about the check in instructions and I got help immediately getting into the house and then got a follow up check in a few hours later. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, good communication, clean.

This is an old house beautifully remodeled, but a problem with electrical plug-in in bathroom. The location worked well for my reasons. The items i would have appreciated are, extra blankets for the bed as the duvet is too heavy to sleep under, more than one washcloth, although there were plenty of makeup ones. It would have been nice to have ice trays, so you didn't have to buy ice, and also dishcoths would have been nice, since i don't care to use sponges. All in all a great place to stay.

Within walking distance to Trolley Square and Whole Foods! Quiet neighborhood. Property was nicely updated with plenty of room. Appliances were nothing fancy, but they worked and were clean.

Great stay! Stocked kitchen was nice to make meals at. Check out process was great too. No unreasonable asks. Would stay here again.

Nice clean place in a great location for everything Salt Lake City has to offer. Attended the Gators v Utes football game and walked to and from stadium. Utes fans are a class act. Didn’t enjoy the Gator loss but enjoyed everything about salt Lake and their fans.

Easy street parking; central and clean. Much better than a hotel room for an extended stay.

Near Trolly square and lots of restaurants. Easy access to UofU campus and hospital. Property is as described. It is the upstairs unit of the duplex. Quiet, old established neighborhood.
