A relaxing retreat from main Ubud! Good value for money but important to consider the distance from the resort to main t

Lovely gardens and relaxing setting. We particularly enjoyed the free shuttle as the distance from the resort to main Ubud was quite far- especially with traffic. The staff were lovely and always had smiles on their faces. We also loved the pudgy koi fish !!

It is important to note that the rooms did not feel super private / soundproof. Additionally, the breakfast is not a buffet- there is a good range of options but we often preferred to eat in main Ubud.

朝食は美味しかったが、意外といい加減で出し忘れあり。プールもきれいでしたが、近くの川は濁っていて景観がいいわけではない。

日影が多く、蚊が多いです。また、部屋の照明は少なく、かなり暗いです。化粧などはできません。

L’hôtel est fabuleux, le concept des petites cabanes dans la jungle est génial, la literie est super confortable et les chambres spatieuses. La vue de la piscine et du restaurant est très appréciable. Le personnel est très agréable.

Éloigné du centre, obligatoire de prendre scooter ou voiture.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich toll! Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sehr sauber und super schön eingerichtet. Auch der Pool ist toll! Die Essensauswahl ist vielfältig. Die Portionen auf jeden Fall ausreichend und sehr lecker. Auch Roller können direkt an der Unterkunft gemietet werden.

Da die Unterkunft halb im Dschungel liegt, ist es schwierig Ameisen und Fliegen aus dem Weg zu gehen.

Les petit-dej sont top, copieux et super bon. Il y a le choix entre 5 ou 6 « menu ». Emplacement top au calme au milieu des rizières. Personnel agréable. Chambre spacieuse et propre. J’y reviendrais !

Exceptional

Our room and facilities were amazing, all the staff were incredibly friendly. I had forgotten to reconfirm our airport pick up before arriving but the driver was there waiting for us as arranged months earlier. Food was AMAZING, definitely recommend the cooking class, a highlight of our trip!

Die Lage ein Traum, der Pool wunderschön und die Zimmer ganz toll ausgebaut. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Spa-Behandlung (Facial und Body Scrub) waren nicht überzeugend. Das ist noch Optimierungsbedarf vorhanden, der Rest war sehr gut.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön im Grünen. Absolute Ruhe und Entspannung. Die Holzbungalows sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit einem spektakulären Ausblick in die Natur. Das Frühstück mit viel Auswahl war einmalig.

Agradable buenas vistas desde la piscina pero no volveremos a alojarnos allí.

Me gustó su estilo de casas de madera muy auténticas y una piscina para hacer largos.

No tienes mucha privacidad desde la terraza de tu alojamiento. Las habitaciones bungalow muy cerca una de otra con pocas vistas abiertas. Están ampliando con la parcela colindante donde están construyendo más bungalows pero igual de cerca uno de otro. Las casas son amplias pero con falta de carisma y falta de detalles. Un par de cuadros no estaría de más. El transfer al centro del pueblo muy limitado en horarios. Las fotos resultan bonitas

While the setting of Rumah Kayu Resort was idyllic, the service unfortunately did not meet expectations and could greatly benefit from improvement.

Magnifique hôtel très confortable, extérieur incroyable

Un super hôtel au cœur des rizière, une piscine magnifique et un bungalow très confortable. Le personnel était très sympathique, j’ai fêté mes 25 ans la bas j’ai eu une belle attention avec une écriture en fleurs sur le lit.

Le logement est mal isolé nous avons entendu dès le matin des cris des gens parler, à 7h du matin… c’était dérangement. Également la nourriture a l’hôtel n’étais pas très bonne, peut être un mauvais choix..?

Accommodatie bestaat net 1 jaar. Mooie lodges en van alle gemakken voorzien. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Als je even weg wilt van de ‘drukte’ in Ubud dan beveel ik deze locatie zeer aan.

Relaxing week in natural

Gardens throughout the property were very nice. Spacious room. Bed was very comfortable and Generally quiet area so we slept well most nights. Very large selection available for breakfast. Regular shuttle to Ubud.

Some fruit flies in the bedroom (down side of being in nature). Aircon and fan could only just keep up on a hot day. Restaurant would benefit from some fans. Good food, however the butter/oil used for cooking was not to our taste. Some construction in area (during day), including regular burn offs resulting in some smoke.

Beautiful surroundings. Shuttle into town was helpful. Good massages and on-site, so we happily stayed around the resort. Super relaxing.

Bathroom is not an entirely seperate room to the cabin, so little privacy from the bathroom. However, this didn’t pose any actually problems!

Das Rumah Kayu ist eine ruhige Oase vor den Toren von Ubud. Die Anlage ist sehr liebevoll angelegt. Die Zimmer sind wundervoll, balinesischer Stil. Sehr liebevolles, aufmerksames Personal. Wir waren zweimal vor Ort weil es uns so gut gefallen hat !!

Great value for money with a quite a long way location from Ubud

The property is quite new so it looks still nice but you can see that this not be the case in a few years onwards. The entrance to the property is very narrow

We love rumah kayu! the room, the pool, the service, the view, the plants around us.. the restaurant have a good varieties of food too!

I guess it’s to be expected to live in such a jungle environment, but I really don’t like the mosquitoes and geckos in my room 😅 couldn’t sleep with a hand full gecko in the room at the first night, but after the first night, i get used to their presence.
