Our family enjoyed our time at this house. There was a nice sunroom, where our dogs hung out. The covered porch with the grill was a plus. The microwave/air fryer combo was useful. The people in the neighborhood were very nice. It was short walk to the water where you can enjoy a community area of sand and some chairs right in the lake. Though we didn’t open it, they left a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift. A tree had fallen in the yard and the owners quickly took care of it without disturbing our time there.

This rental was great for my family. The amenities were just what we needed. Close to fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Just as advertised.

Property was not easy to find as a facelift was given to the outside which was a completely different color and no numbers were on the house. The owner let me know that the renovations were done to the outside back in April but pictures were not taken since then. There were a few minor issues, but I addressed them to the owner. Hopefully, they can be fixed before the next guest arrive. Overall cute property with a great location

This place was super nice for our family enough room and perfect area for the lake !! Quiet and private the neighbors were extremely nice. The only thing we didn’t like is the sofa was only room for two so when you have an entire family makes it hard to relax and watch a movie !! Other than that this place was perfect. We will be staying again !!

The location of this house makes it even better. You are in a nice quiet neighborhood. Good for kids. Short walk to the shore line, with beach area that is AWESOME! The local deer are in abundance in the neighborhood. First night, 4 walked right passed the porch. Beautiful! The house is nice. Few upgrades would make it better. The master shower head needs to be changed. And a door needs to be put on the master bathroom instead of curtain. It has a pocket door, but it’s broken. But with some “ jiggling” we managed to make it work. The kitchen has the necessities but “ cooking” for a family, requires some things from home. Nothing crazy! Just mixing bowls, Tupperware and flat baking sheets are needed. But honestly the house is a great choice! We will be back next year even if they don’t upgrade the shower head!

The property was quaint, clean, and comfortable. It’s an older house and somewhat dated, but we thought this added to the charm and character of a house near the lake. Everything needed to cook meals was provided. The WiFi worked well. The two televisions with Roku worked well, but we rarely used them during the stay. We really appreciated the central AC as it was in the 90’s during our stay. The close walk to the lake was nice and we enjoyed swimming and the use of the kayaks and stand-up paddle board. Overall this was a great stay and was not far from the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds where other members of our family were camping. The drive into Hiawassee for shopping and dining was convenient as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Great little cottage in a beautiful community on Lake Chatuge. Great for families who like fishing and boating. House keeping prior to our arrival left a lot to be desired though. Especially given the cleaning fees that are required. I would probably bring your own amenities & cleaning supplies as these things are in limited supply if you stay more than a couple days. All things considered though we would stay there again.
