We had a lot of noise outside during the night!
Bedding quilt very heavy for summer time.
Sraff very friendly..hopefully be back

The magnificent room with the seaview absolutely stunning
A Lovely spacious room with comfortable bed very clean and fresh
fabulous breakfasts and lovely ambience and decor
Great staff
Been a little picky here as I am struggling to think of any dislikes the fact that you have to go through the restaurant to get to reception is a little off putting as it's quite a busy place but no big deal
And maybe that you have to climb some 4 flights of stairs which was fine with myself and my husband as able to do so
But could be a problem for elderly folk
a lift would be good
But I understand it's a Victorian building and would be difficult
The band is a little noisy in the bar midweek but that's ok as they are finished quite early

Friday and Saturday nights are impossible with pounding club percussion noise making it impossible to sleep until 3.00 am. We will never stay again over a weekend.

Good breakfast with very friendly staff that day.
Room not in the hotel but in a residence a little further away. Although the large bed is comfortable, it is impossible to sleep given the loud and constant noise from evening to morning! The room overlooked a busy sidewalk which also served as a gathering place for people who obviously didn't just smoke cigarettes. Also, from 7 a.m. beer barrels are stacked in front of our window, I'll let you imagine the noise pollution of the deliveries.
Obviously this was not announced to us when we arrived... Really too expensive than the quality offered!!!

The front desk staff were very friendly and competent.
The hotel is a maze of room which is confusing, but once understood, it is okay.
I was first put in a terrible room in the basement. A very nice staff person found a more reasonable room which I appreciate.
There is a large and noisy restaurant and bar that was okay, but off-putting initially since I had to walk through it to registration. I was met by a bouncer which was funny, but …

Eben: Wenn...

We got a beautiful room facing the sea. Room was clean and the bed was very cosy.
Very loud hotel. it was impossible to sleep. The music from the nightclub didn't stop until 3am. I don't think I could stay there again.
4.1

Location
Turned on radiator but no heat ..and very busy

Room was nice. Good size. Friendly and efficient staff. Location was nice on the beach side.
For parking you just need to find a spot somewhere in the street. It was busy when I arrived, quite difficult. Price fairly high for what you get and breakfast was not included. Dinner was OK but not of great standard. Noisy room next to street.

Lovely staff, good food,very clean
Arrived to funfair outside and parking very difficult. Noise died down about 5 pm and had a quiet night

The hotel did not make it clear that there was a nightclub on the property. This lasted until 3am. It was directly below our room and therefore we could not sleep.

What a lovely, clean, and friendly hotel, the staff can't do enough for you as well as being friendly and attentive. Throughly enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is busy Friday/ Sat nights with DJ and a big ouside covered area. They do, however, warn you about this when booking and even before you arrive. So if you're looking for a party atmosphere, this is the place. In the day, lovely menu and exceptionally good food. 👍

Nice location on beach.

Located at the seafront
Room was in the back, located literally on the train track. Couldn't get any sleep, as trains passing all the time. Should not call yourself a hotel if you can not provide a night's sleep.
Carpet filthy and stained.

We (Mother and daughter)arrived at 5.30 in the evening after walking the glendalough walk(12km magnificent scenic walk) to a beautiful queen bed and single bed with sea views
Nothing I could complain about.
4.1
Had dinner one evening, substantial and tasty.
Noise from trains after 06:00.
Kitchen could be better equipped - we like to buy local produce and cook it.
Quilt on bed way too many tog for time of year.

Great location. Very reasonable priced.
We chose the Martello as a location for a Bruce Springsteen concert in Dublin. Arrived back at the hotel after the concert and had some drinks in the hotel bar afterwards until the early hours.
Would book the Martello for other concerts in the future.
Nothing

The breakfast was really good & the staff went out of their way to make changes with what you preferred & always polite.
I didn't stay long enough. But next time could I have a room with a sea view but still loved staying there

Spacious and clean rooms. Great location and friendly staff. The Hotel is beautifully decorated. Good food and beautiful views.
We did not get a good night's rest. The street noises and fellow guests returning to rooms after a great night out continued through out the early hours of the morning . Maybe adding curtains will help? Our apartment smelled of smoke, windows only opens very slightly.

Food n great entertainment

Absolutely EVERYTHING, I am
just sorry to be traveling solo this time and not with my wife and our baby boy accompanying! I think I got lucky enough to get offered the “suite” of the hotel, great room with big windows and views over the bay, bed with a mattress with a feeling like “sleeping in the clouds”, nice decoration. And the pub is simply LEGENDARY.
The pub food is the best I have ever tried in Ireland (and I lived there for near 8 years before) both in quality and variety. I got also B&B and the breakfast was a la carte with no restrictions.
The music live sessions going on every evening where simply class, great covers of all time classics.
A true pleasure to enjoy there the grand finale of the Six Nations and Ireland’s historic Grand Slam.
The hotel is at the Bray seafront within 5 minutes walking distance to the DART and close to many shops and the Main Street.
The reception ladies were super polite and attentive and the young lads waiters were all courteous and kind.
Rooms cleaned and serviced every day
Nothing, it is a fine establishment - please do not touch anything!
Some picky guests might say it is a bit noisy but if you cannot stay with a bit of good music simply you are too dull to go there! Relax and join the crowd and the party for a while, you will sleep much better after a couple of pints (or a few more)!

great location, great cocktails.
It says check in is 3. we arrived at 3:30 and the receptionist said the room wouldn’t be ready for another 30 minutes and told us to leave and get a coffee until it was ready, i asked three times was check in 3 o’clock and she wouldn’t answer me, eventually someone else entered reception and said check in was 4.. although it doesn’t say that on the booking.
it wasn’t that big a deal but they just weren’t really polite..
the hotel had a club open until 2:30, didnt highlight this when booking, only at check in, which isnt so bad, but the music was still playing after 3 so not really the best..
4.1
that it was close to the beach
nice music and the bar

The apartment was clean and easily accessible with the pram. Bottles of water were left out for us complimentary and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful!
