Lovely location
Very inaccessible! There are a lot of steps at the entrance to the hotel, bar and breakfast area. We really struggled to get around the hotel with our little boy in his buggy. The small lifts beside these stairs were broken so my husband had to carry the buggy down each flight of stairs when we wanted to go to the bar for our evening meal and for breakfast the next morning. We felt it would be very inconvenient and challenging to stay if you were a wheelchair using guest.
We spoke up about this at checkout and they assured us that the lifts would be fixed soon, hopefully this is the case.

The room was ideal and the beds very comfortable. Being beside the beach is stunning and the facilities are designed and kept to a superb standard. I will stay again.
With the breakfast. The food and setting was perfect.
However, there appeared to not be enough staff, so they were having difficulties, greeting, clearing tables, serving coffee etc as well as one waitress was extremely flustered and even running back & forth.
It could've been a bad day though it was not handled in a way one would expect and I would view this as a management issue that should be easily rectified so as no accidents happen aswell as effecting the experience.

Massage was amazing and they made time for me
I thought the breakfast was supposed to be included however they changed me even after saying it was covered
Also They dinner at the restaurant after waiting an hour and confirming that time with the hostess before sitting I still was not served dinner, and I had a meeting that I had to get to. They were well aware of this prior to me, even being sat. So I had to eat my meal at 1030 at night. Instead of seven p m when I got done with my meeting that they had put in my room, and it was completely cold with no microwaves in the room. So I spent well over a hundred dollars, so we're going dinner and breakfast that was on a, I'll expected or didn't meet expectations

Great breakfast buffet - even a couple of gluten free options.
Service in all three restaurants was extremely slow - twice we waited over an hour after placing our order for our food to arrive.
The staff seemed under trained and not sure of what was happening in the kitchen.

The room was spatious and clean. Great views of sea.
The shower only had boiling hot water so we could not have a shower. When we went to reception and explained this the receptionist said someone would look at it in the morning after we were checked out. We tried to order room service but the bar and reception rang out. I had to go up to the reception and order in person which seemed to put the receptionist out. When I came down to collect the food 35 mins later the server apologised and said they had missed my order and I had to wait while they cooked it. I stay in Dublin every week with my company’s work and had been looking at staying here but on the basis of the service we had on this night I will be recommending that our company does not have anyone stay here.

Location is amazing, has a feeling of calm and relaxation as soon as you drive into to car park.
However, yet again we arrived with renovations being carried out so part of the hotel was not available. Also our room was directly above the renovation work so on our first morning there we were awoken early to hammering and drilling. Not ideal.

We were delighted with the hotel. We got a complimentary upgrade which was a lovely surprise.
Water + Chocolates in the room was such a lovely touch.
The room was great, fab sea view and the bed was so comfortable.
The breakfast was really good, lots of choice for all dietary needs.
On arrival our room was too warm but that was easily sorted by turning down the thermostat

We were unfortunate with the plumbing not been working.

Nice enough hotel lobby
We had a lot of complaints the first day. Such as baby found a screw on the floor and put it in her mouth luckily we caught her and got it quickly. Drains in the shower and sink blocked and shower flooded the bathroom floor. Restaurant staff weren’t very accommodating with a baby had to ask for a highchair for the baby multiple times even after they walked passed after being asked. The double bed in the double room was two beds pushed together. When we brought it up with staff we were offered complimentary breakfast which was nice and a room upgrade which ended up being a smaller room further from reception and hotel entrance with an old small tv and outdated furniture and bathroom only benefit was the view.

The room was very clean and pleasant in appearance. The beds were comfortable.
The shower was scalding and my daughter had to shout for us to help her out of it.The dial to adjust the temperature was faulty. We were unable to shower and informed reception before we left for our event. On return we were informed by the night staff that maintenance had not repaired it.We were therefore unable to clean ourselves during our stay.I informed the reception staff on check out and she told me that maintenance had fixed the issue without entering the room , which was untrue. The member of staff did not seem to care about my concern that the water was not hot but scalding and my 9 year old had been in it.We were refunded the price of breakfast ,but I was left with the impression that the staff weren't unduly concerned about scalding water in a family room .Over €300 to stay in a room without the ability to shower !

We stayed the week and enjoyed the space, beach, golf course and the grounds.
We loved our stay and the friendly staff and room service personnel. Eduard cleaning person was extremely friendly and kind. Thank you.
Spa and massage open we went 3 times for a massage.
Uber to Dublin for the whiskey tours
The young staff and beautiful accents.
Spa not open.
Travellers staying and keptus awake by ringing our bell to the room . Running up and down the corridor s shouting, knocking on doors all night. I put ear plugs in my ears to get some sleep.
That we couldn't eat dinner in the garden sitting area in the evening, only for drinks unless restaurant full then we could and that only happened once.
I left my coat behind in our room and I rang to say this and the lady answering the phone did not have a friendly manner and I ended the call feeling displeased with the outcome. .
My coat will not be sent to me , you have to pick it up which was not possible for me to do so as I was flying home.

on beach, huge facilities, comfortable beds,
toilet was permanently stained in room 117, gross actually, stayed 4 nights, never changed sheets or pillowcases, never vacuumed our entire time, didn’t even make the bed one day and only brought towels, no lotion or shower caps, 2 bath towels for 2 people, u think an extra towel to dry your hair would be nice, nice, friendly maids, not sure why we were ignored.
ordered room service twice, forgot condiments, drinks, food was good thou. wish room service had more selection, mirroring the regular menu.
Porters we’re friendly and desk staff and bar, spa folks not so much, pass u in hall and don’t even respond to good morning.
very disappointing stay for over 300 euros a night, that doesn’t even include their boring breakfast buffet…
🤨found The Grande in Malahide more accommodating and way better food,
🇨🇦🇨🇦 very disappointing this visit.

This is the 5th time we've been back and it's still a great place. The staff at the reception are top, the breakfast is excellent, the only small inconvenience during our stay was that the old pub was being renovated. We will go back next year to see the changes.
