When you need some time to relax and get away from the hustle & bustle of your daily life, come to our lovely beach home, located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Jamaica Beach! The peace and the salty air breeze, will quickly take away all the stress! It comes with a large open area connecting the living, dining & kitchen, & has outdoor covered patios so you can hang out with family! A brand new game room for kids & adults to play in & then comfortable beds for you once you are ready to call it a day!
PET FRIENDLY too! Up to 2 pets allowed with a one time fee of $50/pet.

THE SPACE
This newly remodeled beach home sleeps up to max of 8! It is located just half a mile from the beach & two blocks (just walking distance) from the community pool & park.
It features 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and a full XL over queen bunk bed upstairs. The primary room has a dedicated workspace for those who want to have some quiet work time. The "4th bedroom" is located downstairs in the gameroom & has 2 twin futons with mattress topper.
The gameroom has a TV, multigame arcade, pingpong, air hockey and darts! Lots of space to have fun and chill while you enjoy the fresh sea air! Come and book our fun place now!

Guest access

Guests will have access to the whole house (except the pantry and the large storage in the backyard that will be locked for owner use) and there will be no shared spaces with others. Check in instructions will be sent the day before check in date to the guest email provided for the reservation.

This home also features an outdoor shower located in the covered garage area, close to the stairs to rinse the excess sand from the beach before entering the home! Please use it to help keep the house clean!

I have to say that I’ve stayed at many beach houses and this one by far was the best for families. The game room was perfect for the kids to be entertained. The yard is fenced in so knowing the kids were okay when playing outdoors was a huge bonus. The home was very clean and organized. Having the extras like the wagon, tent canopy, & beach towels for the beach was great. That was less that we needed to pack. The 4th room was the game room which is great for a teen who wants to stay up late or away from the adults. Absolute great experience!

Loved the house it was very clean very roomy and we love the game room because the weather was kind of nasty outside so it gave us something to do. We had a great time. Can’t wait to stay again next year.

Stayed for a special family gathering. Great layout heads to beds for my adult children and their spouses. Wonderful upper and lower porches and game room. Even perfect for our small dog. Super responsive host. Would love to stay there again.

My family and I decided to take a quick family trip to the Galveston area. This home fit our family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers very well! The house is bright and comfortable and the hosts are very friendly and have great communication. The gameroom made a perfect place to hang out after putting the toddlers to bed! Just bring your baby monitors because it is separate from the house. It is in Jamaica Beach, about 20 minutes from Galveston and all the hot spots, which we wanted as we were looking for a relaxing getaway, uet close enough to enjoy everything Galveston has to offer wjen your ready fornit. The one negative to the area is there aren't as many restaurants around. The hosts have many beach essentials, books, games, and most everything you need to enjoy your stay! Highly recommend!

The location is perfect, just a 2 minute drive from the beach and it was so convenient having a corner store on the way. The house was very clean and in great condition. We had some minor issues during our stay and the host was super responsive and attentive. We didn't end up using the game room as much as we thought we would, but the main house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and multiple kids ranging from age 13-1.5 years old. We loved having the gate at the top of the deck for our dogs as well as the very secure fence around the grass. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. My family wants to stay here again next year!

The property is walking distance to the beach, community pool, gas station, and eatery. There is a small grocery within a mile. It has most about erverything,including fresh meat, and bakery. The houni se itself is has just about everything for family. The beds are super comfortable. The full si,e washer and dryer is a bo us. We were happy to have a fenced area for our mini daschunds.

We had a groups of friends stay here for a weekend trip; everyone enjoyed the house and had a great time. It is very short drive to the public beach, rooms were very clean, and the hosts made check in/out super simple. Would recommend this rental and would definitely stay again in the future.

Our family spent 4 days in Galveston at this lovely home and everything was perfect. We spent evenings on the porch, enjoyed ping-pong, pool and Pac-man in the game room and made a great seafood dinner in the well stocked kitchen. Jose and Anna were incredibly responsive and answered any questions we had with such kindness. We will definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful stay over spring break! The game room was a huge hit with both adults and kids! The property was perfectly located a few minutes from the beach. Loved the fact that the property was at the end of the cul de sac, very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

I would like to express my gratitude and give this property a well-deserved five-star rating. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a seamless check-in process. The property itself exceeded all of my expectations. The house was immaculate, well decorated, and had all the amenities one could ask for. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location of the beach house was perfect. With bay views just a short walk away, I was able to enjoy the beauty of the coastline throughout my stay. The well-maintained outdoor space provided a peaceful retreat to relax. I especially enjoyed the patio area where I could enjoy my morning coffee. Inside the beach house, every detail was carefully thought out. The furnishings were comfortable and stylish, and the kitchen was equipped with modern appliances and utensils. I appreciated the attention to detail in providing essential items such as fresh linens, towels, and toiletries. One of the standout features of this property was the exceptional customer service provided by the property management team. From the moment I made my reservation to the day I checked out, they were always available and willing to help answer any of my questions or concerns.

We all enjoyed our two night stay. Not too far from beachfront just a very short drive. We all enjoyed the new gameroom but one wall unit is not enough to cool for this time of year in Galveston. We bbq'd and had smores enjoying most of the amenities offered. Would definitely stay again.

Sun and Reel is a really cute house.. They thought of everything to keep kids busy. The game room was great! Even had toys for kids to use at the beach The community pool was very nice and convenient to the house. Wouu absoutely recommend

Communication was excellent between the home owners and myself, long before our actual stay! House looked just as pictured on the inside. Gameroom was a great place for kids to hang out in to escape the heat. Yard is plenty big for a pet should you choose to bring one. My only complaint would be that the house smelled like a dog upon entering, but once I turned on the air humidifier, as suggested in the book, the smell quickly went away. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for everyone.

The house was lovely. The kids loved the gameroom and the state park for the beach was close. Only a couple of things we contacted the owner on during our stay and it was taken care of quickly. The owners are pleasant and caring. Enjoyed the stay and the communication with the owners was excellent. Thanks for the use of your home! Was a fun and relaxing trip.

We enjoyed our Easter weekend getaway at Sand ‘n’ Reel and my kids and grandkids really loved and enjoyed their stay. The downstairs game room was a big hit. Loved the location and the close proximity to the beach. The house was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. We had an amazing stay. This is really a great house with all the right things to make your stay great.

We stayed for 2 nights and really had a great time with family and friends, the house is very clean nice beach vibe decors and everything was provided.. the game room is very nice and we played pingpong, we also had a great bonding chatting over the fireplace at the backyard and kids made s’mores..we felt so at home and we had a great time,at the beach I highly recommend Sand n Reels..
