Slecht ontbijt. Overal vieze versleten matjes op de grond.

This place was quite an odd one. They were doing refurbishments on most of the property and there wasn’t a single other guest there aside from me but strangely they had a lot of staff cleaning the rooms so maybe lots of people just checked out.
I had a good one night here with a goal to surf which was available right outside the hotel on the beach. The rooms were spotless and large with a balcony.
Despite an abandoned feel I felt safe as a sole female traveller.
The hot water took a long time to heat up.
Also, the hotel felt extremely clean yet almost abandoned with some furniture taped over in plastic and not a soul to be seen.
Not that I used it but the pool needed a clean.

The local breakfast was good
Toilets have a major issue with flooding... toilet water / bath water water gets into the room..

Awesome hotel at the quiet part of Weligama bay. I would like to thank all the staff: everyone was extremely friendly and hospitable. From fast and comfortable airport transfer to daily rooms cleaning -- any service was provided great.
Hotel offers wide selection of fresh fruits on breakfast, nice deck chairs on the first beach line, own swimming pool and cozy rooms with high quality air conditioning.
Crucial option for surfers: great school "Surf Discovery" nearby. You don't worry about equipment rentals and all the facilities you may need to catch a wave or two ;-)
I must admit the Wi-Fi was pretty slow sometimes.

Right on the beach.
Pillows on the bed were uncomfortable and the cover was too thick.
3.0
Great beach and pool located away from the beach, when the wind is strong.
Okay buffet breakfast and kitchen
Most of the aircondition outside the rooms are in terrible state, poorly maintained and noisy.
Pool-view rooms are NOT pool-view, but Garden-view.
In the rooms deemed pool-view the aircon units are extra noisy because of the clustered location in the hallway
Pool was missing most of the steps on the ladders.
The pool itself was properly maintained during our stay
Floors above first level has absolutely no water pressure.

Place is right next to the beach and very cleanly. Bathroom and room is spacious. There is a brilliant restaurant next to this place and they have their own restaurant as well as a Shisha place. Breakfast was brilliant and really enjoyed the stay.

Great breakfast. Nice pool. Good service and nice staff. Wonderful view!
3.5
Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and polite. The pool was great but no sun beds to lay on! Monkey feeding was brilliant at 2ish at the pool. Maid service and cleaning of rooms excellent. Beach location was perfect.
The rooms were basic but clean. Wifi dreadful! Food at the hotel was reasonable but plenty on offer elsewhere! Air conditioning was noisy. There were no sun loungers at the pool and it was next to the staff quarters, there was personal washing drying on the pool terrace every day! The hotel is clean but very worn in lots of places, with loose tiles, paving stones and cracked steps.

The location is amazing - the beach is wide, clean, with waves you can boogie board on, but not get swept away. The breeze was fantastic and we loved walking along the bay for a long distance in either direction. We were the only people there when we arrived, and they upgraded us to rooms with spectacular views. Amazing. The guys in the kitchen were super nice and made us food at any time, catering to the picky kids too. Really kind and helpful. They turned on the pool lights for us to swim after dark, offered as many towels as we wanted, put out lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach, etc. Great service!
This is not a luxury hotel. As long as you aren't expecting that, you'll love it! If it was busy, you could be in a pretty dark room. There was limited parking, although it was great for us in this time of little travel, if you come at a busy time I'd ask about parking in advance perhaps. The next door place was really loud on Poya night. Might bring earplugs next time!

Couldn’t fault it

Location is great. Beautiful beach is just behind the property.
Hotel is like incomplete site. AC gives endless noise. Sleep is disturbed with light flowing through transparent doors. Staff is not professional and no sense of welcoming for guests.

Location. The best part of the beach, very wide and calm.
Tuk tuk drivers in front of the resort are the worst I have ever seen. We booked driver to airport, abd when he came they surround them and attacked them, because we did choose him. They even attacked us(2 girls), showed us middle finger, they scremed and didn't alowed us to go to airport. It was really bad experience, we were upset. They were acting like mafia! Please avoid them! The worst moment ever!
