About this cabin rental
Mountain Dream Retreat is a beautiful, luxurious log cabin in a family neighborhood located in the Great Smoky Mountains. This property is located 5 miles from Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and 15 minutes from downtown Bryson City.
The home is entered through the living room which offers an open floor plan complete with kitchen, living room, and dining room, perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, cookware, and a Keurig coffee maker to use during your stay. The dining room has seating for six. The living room has a gas fireplace, 55' Smart TV, a sofa that converts to a queen size sleeper, which offers additional sleeping accommodations for 2 guests, and a love seat so everyone can comfortably gather to enjoy quality time together. Games and puzzles are provided for guests to enjoy during their stay. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room to store pantry items and where the washer and dryer is located.
The master bedroom has a king bed, 50’ Smart TV, and a walk-in closet. The ensuite bath has double sinks with a shower/tub combination.
On the opposite side of the house are the 2 additional guest rooms (one room has a king bed and the other has a queen) along with a full bathroom. Each bedroom has a mounted Smart TV and large closet. Towels are provided along with additional towels for use of the hot tub.
Just outside the kitchen through the sliding glass door is the covered deck with a 5-person hot tub and a separate outdoor dining table with seating for 6. While outside, you can enjoy the large, flat grassy backyard with gas grill (propane tank provided) and fire pit with seating for 6 in the comfortable Adirondack chairs. Relax with family and friends with plenty of room for outdoor games and entertainment.
Getting to the cabin is easy as it is flat and accessible for all vehicles, including motorcycles and even a parking space for trailers. No steep or poorly maintained roads here.

Every was perfect. My wife has developed severe multiple chemical sensitivities and it is a challenge to find a place she can be symptom free. I talked with the hoist ahead of time and she had her cleaning company use scent free products prior to our arrival and there were no problems at all. Otherwise the property was super clean and exactly as described in the listing. Will be staying here again.

Awesome location! We had a group of 5 guys and was a great spot away from the business of the casino downtown while also being close buy, had no problems checking in/out and all amenity were clean and working, would definitely recommend!

Lovely quiet area! Cabin was comfortable clean and had everything we needed. It was well maintained. We liked being close to Bryson City and Nantahala’s Outdoor Center.

We arrived to our VRBO, the place was exactly as listed. Very nice setting, very clean, we had everything we needed. Owners were very accommodating, answered all of our questions and concerns. Hot tub was very clean and nice. We could not have had a better place to stay for our golf outing, close to many attractions.

Absolutley loved staying here! Away from all the noise and congestion.... exactly what we needed. Daughter graduated from WCU and it was only 30 min away. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We sat out at night but the fire pit and relaxed in the hot tub afterwards. Even enjoyed the rooster next door.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Location was perfect to access The Great Smokey Railroad for the Polar Express and also just a short drive to enjoy the casino in Cherokee. Would stay again if we ever come back to the area.

Everyone had a great time. The house was perfect and in great condition.
It also had the most dishware and "every day" house hold products than anywhere i've stayed so that made life way easier!
Grill the grill worked great and had a full tank of propane ready to go.

This was the prefect cabin for our family of 5. It was very clean and very well furnished. We had privacy but close enough to town if we needed anything. We loved our stay, and we will stay here again. ❤️

THE DRIVEWAY INTO THE HOUSE NEEDED SOME ATTENTION THE BEDS WERE TOO SOFT FOR OLDER ADULTS AND I FEEL THAT A TRASH CAN AND CHAIR IN THE BEDROOMS WOULD BE NICE. OTHER WISE IT WAS A NICE CABIN. JENNIFER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND RESPONDED QUICKLY TO A CALL THAT WAS VERY NICE

We rented this cabin to visit the Polar Express and this cabin was perfect for 4 adults and 3 kids! The house had the perfect layout and was super close to Bryson City and Cherokee to explore the sites.

Cabin exceeded expectations on just about every level. Kitchen was great with all the necessary stuff for cooking a Thanksgiving dinner :))) Josh was over and above with communication on some last minute changes we needed to make and cant thank him enough for his flexibility. Of all the Cherokee rentals I have had this was by far the best experience and will 100% rent again when visiting area again.

I love all the features with this cabin and the size of the backyard. My toddler enjoyed playing and running around. I liked there there where night lights in the kids room and the bathroom. Check in and out was a breeze. I loved the kitchen and the fact that there was plenty of pots and pans to use along with plates and cups. The huge dining table with plenty of space of us all to eat. I just loved everything about this cabin!

6 minutes from Sequoyah National Golf. The cabin is in excellent condition and the communication with the owners is excellent. We had a small hiccup and the response from the cleaning company was extraordinary. Looking forward to renting again. Thanks Josh and Thanks Jamie.

This lovely log home was the perfect getaway for 4 friends to celebrate a girl’s birthday trip. Great location and super clean. The property was beautiful and we loved the warm, cozy cabin feel as soon as we walked in the door. We would love to visit again and would highly recommend.

Location is key, and this property filled all of our expectations and more. Plenty of room for 7 adults to spread out with the front and back porches, fire pit, and hammocks. House was furnished with the usual necessities. Check in/out was hassle free.

My family & in-laws rented this place within close proximity to the two area golf courses. It was also very close to Bryson City & some amazing waterfalls. The property was so clean & had a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the back porch for playing games, the fire pit for s’mores! It was very quiet & peaceful & spacious. Our family received a welcoming message a day before our scheduled arrival welcoming us. Josh was a PHENOMENAL host. The road leading to the home wasn’t steep (which is always a worry for me), it gave us privacy but just a few minutes away from everything. When we arrived it was breathtaking. Wide open yards, welcoming home fully stocked. Our kids love the bedrooms and smart tvs, hammocks, and games. We enjoyed coffee on the porch watching fireflies every night and it was truly the best time. I cannot express the cleanliness enough! I’ve never stayed at a hotel or property this clean and neat. A checklist clearly posted for check out, reminding you of little things we often forget (including checking out of our streaming services). I wish I could give this home more stars! We won’t be staying anywhere else. We got responses within minutes anytime we had a question. Truly the best place ever! Can’t wait to stay again!

Cabin was clean and beautiful. The big open yard was perfect for our kids to run and play. Location could not be better if visiting the casino! Josh was very quick to respond to questions.
