This condo was perfect for our family of four! The location is great with a grocery store, restaurants, walking trail and beach all within walking distance. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need, from the kitchen to the beach equipment, it's all there! We will definitely stay here again!

Property was well maintained and located in a nice quiet area. The hosts did a great job and made sure we had a great stay.

Quiet location, clean. Could use updating interior re: color scheme....colors are from 20 years ago. Brighter paint and fabrics would lighten the entire interior. Only 1 broken beach chair, but a variety of beach items were available for use which was very nice.

We loved our stay. The unit was well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed dining on the lanai and the kitchen was well equipped and stocked with all the basics we needed - it was so handy that the toaster oven had an air fryer feature ;). The storage containers and cold pack came in handy for beach days. The bed was so comfy we slept well every night. The Mauna Lani beach club was a wonderful perk that I wish we had taken more advantage of. Something to look forward to on future trips.

We were 3 adults with 2 children. This place was fine for us, and the location is walkable to grocery stores, snorkel beaches, and convenient to the rest of the Kohala Coast. 30 minutes to Kailua-Kona, about an hour to Captain Cook's and City of refuge. All in all, we would certainly recommend this place to anyone, with or without children.

We really enjoyed our Hawaii stay at this property.
1. The location is excellent. Pristine grounds, close to the beach (10mins walk) and a nice, quiet neighborhood
2. The amenities at the house were very good. It obvious a lot of thought was put into even the smallest details that make the stay comfortable. Plenty of utensils, plates, glassware etc for a large family. The outdoor grill was were useful. We spent a lot of time on the really nice lanai and enjoyed the gorgeous island breezes!
3. The location is close to shops, restaurants, beaches etc. Could not be more convenient.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it for those looking to vacation in Hawaii.

The host Jefferson was fantastic. Easy to communicate with, helpful, and flexible about logistics. Made us feel welcome and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Great experience!
We appreciate all the details he thought of to make our stay comfortable: chargers by each bed, fully equipped kitchen with condiments, utensils, saran wrap and foil. We used the grill in the evening with a glass of wine on the Lanai and watched the sunset-wonderful! He had boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach umbrellas and chairs, things you might not get with less attentive hosts. The unit was spacious, air conditioned, nice furniture, and plenty of light. The resort is pristine - well manicured, friendly staff (everyone greets, even the gardeners). It is walking distance to the shops, beach club, fish ponds, and restaurants in the hotel. The beach club has a beautiful outdoor restaurant (as does the hotel).
We highly recommend this Mauna Lani home and look forward to returning in the future!

This is the second of Jefferson's properties I have visited. He has multiple across the globe; my stay at his place in the wine country of Sonoma CA was excellent, and when I heard he had added this location to his collection it convinced me to return to the Big Island after 15 years. He is definitely a professional host. I appreciate all the little details he thinks of to make your stay comfortable - he has these great chargers by each bed (both sides in the Master), stocked kitchen with all the condiments, utensils, and saran wrap and foil, etc are present; he even had boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach umbrellas, all the things you might not get with less attentive hosts. The unit was spacious, working air conditioner, nice furniture, and plenty of light. The resort is pristine - well manicured, very friendly staff (everyone greets you as you walk or drive by, even the gardeners). It is waling distance to the shops, the beach club, the fish ponds, and the restaurants in the hotel. The beach club has a beautiful outdoor restaurant (as does the hotel). Also the beach club is excellent for me because I am not a fan of the sun, and after 5pm there is shade on parts of the beach there so I can sit without worry of burning. We saw sea turtles in the bay there just 20 feet out. This place is great for kids or for the avid golfer. If you want a peaceful place and avoid the crowded resorts, this is for you. Ask Jefferson about his other places!
