I shopped around forever looking for the perfect house for my family to stay during our 5 night vacation in STL. This was as close to perfect as we could get! Great location in historic Fox Park—we walked to a fantastic Nicaraguan restaurant the first night. Vance, our host, was prompt with all communication, and I feel like I had more questions than usual working out all the details of my family’s stay. One thing all the adults in my family commented on several times was how comfy the beds were. My favorite feature had to be the open space living/dining/kitchen area. We had plenty of room to all hang out together on the couches or dining table. I would definitely stay here again!

There was 15 of us, the house was perfect. The Host(Vance) was the best host we have ever had anywhere we stayed. The area the house was at was not the best…. LOCK YOUR CAR!!!!!
If you have over 2 vehicles parking is minimal. We had 4 vehicles. The host (Vance ) went above and beyond to make sure we had plenty of parking.

We enjoyed our stay very much in this home. We learned a lot about the historic row homes in the museum under the Arch and it was cool to stay in one. From the outside the home has retained its historical integrity yet when you walk inside you are amazed at how it has been updated. The fireplaces that remain in the various rooms add character. The bathrooms are very nice and the kitchen worked out very well with our family of 8 that was staying there. The beds were comfortable and there was very adequate seating in the living room for watching movies, etc. The back parking pad off the alley fit our two Chrysler Pacificas well although it is tight backing in to the spaces in the narrow alley but that is part of the historical neighborhood. I did give a reduced rating on the neighborhood because there were some concerns at night but we remained safe and our cars were not bothered outside. There were some minor issues that we addressed with Vance when we moved in and he was very quick to remedy them which we appreciated. If you want "old world St Louis" charm, we recommend this large and spacious house.

This was a terrific place for our five days in St Louis.
Perfect for a one year old and 85 year old and a number of family members in between. We highly recommend the home. Landlord responded very quickly to any question.

We booked this for family who was in town for a graduation. Vance is a wonderful host. The property was clean and perfect for a big group. My elderly father in law loved the first floor accommodations. Plenty of bathrooms. Big comfy living room.
Everyone said the beds were comfortable.
The home was great- we will rent it again! Thank you!

We were very appreciative of the ease of communication with the owner. The check-in was flawless. The property was perfect for our family, more than enough sleeping spaces, bathrooms and group space. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and appliances. There were more than adequate cleaning and bathroom supplies, linens of good quality, all very well thought out. The decor was very nice and so glad that the property had been restored. The location was perfect for our activities (Aquarium at Union Station and City Foundry). There was so much more to do in the area but lacked the time. We would definitely recommend this property.

Found the house perfect for our stay. Clean, open with plenary of room and a small yard to enjoy the day. All attractions were close, providing a great place for our friends to meet, enjoy each other over a couple beverages and get a taste of some great stuff to enjoy in St. Louis. Great responsive host!

It was a beautiful place. We took our youth group for a convention. It was very conveniently located to the Dome. We enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again.

This was a great place for our three generations to be together, explore St. Louis (including restaurants, the zoo, the City Museum and Grant’s Farm) as well as have our own spaces when needed. Owner was very responsive to any issues that came up and addressed them quickly.

The home is beautiful and very spacious enough room for everyone that was in my party the kitchen and dining space were great, Only thing I would recommend is adding a tv's upstairs others would like to watch different shows, 1 TV make it hard when you have a large group, overall I would stay here again very quite neighborhood best house I have rent by far. If I could give it 10 stars I would love it.

Wonderful group space to eat and hang out with family.

Comfortable large great room for conversations and dining. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious and the house has a good number of bathrooms for a large group. The reasons for the four-star ratings for the description of the property I didn't recall anything in the house description stating that two of the king bedrooms are connected by large pocket doors. Could be an issue for unrelated groups of people. The four star for location is due to the area being in process of upgrading but not all properties have been. The four star for cleanliness was for comments by guests about the floors being gritty though we all removed our shoes at the door. We all agreed we would stay in the location again!

This place was just what we were looking for...a place to gather and hang out to reconnect. We were a group of high school friends that graduated 40 years ago and just wanted a place to be comfortable and relax.
The kitchen is not equipped to do elaborate meals, but for what we needed, it was good. There were plenty of dishes and glassware for our snacks and drinks. The dishwasher wasn't getting things clean, so we did do a few dishes by hand.
Location was perfect. We went downtown, went to the zoo, went to the Hill area, went to Ted Drewes, went to the Arch...most places weren't more than 15 minutes away. There was a Sav-a-Lot grocery store just a few minutes away, and there was a liquor store just around the corner.
The communications with the host/property manager was fantastic. We were coming in from different parts of the country and had arrivals as early as 11:30am. We were able to get in by noon, which helped immensely! We had questions about the location, and they provided timely answers. For that reason alone, I would recommend this property. They are definitely responsive!

Incredible house that served our large group very well. Great open living space and comfortable bedrooms to accommodate a large group. Listing gives a very accurate representation of the property. Absolutely prompt and clear communication from the property manager. We had a great stay and a seemless transation. Would highly recommend.
