Lovely warm welcome and beautiful home, interior stunning with a mix of period charm and mod cons. Beautiful views and high spec kitchen and bathrooms. Will be returning soon.

A lovely place to stay, very tastefully decorated and all home from home mod cons provided (although, you will see this from the photos). Please note, the photos really do not do the cottage the justice it rightfully deserves. Perhaps due to the modesty of the owners. I should say at this point how lovely Ian and John are. They are very welcoming and they are always there if you need them. Side note: Fantastic full length mirrors in the bedrooms and the sofa next to open fire made for some very cosy evenings with the family. There is also a piano which kept us all entertained and a wealth of films and books.
The trip consisted of myself (27) along with my Mother and Grandfather and a family friend. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay at Rose Cottage and couldn't find any faults. There is waitrose and tescos a mere 10/15mins away.
There are some great pubs very close by, which was handy for my Grandfather who is 78. The pubs are very quaint and exactly what you would expect for a little village in Garden of England.
I couldn't recommend this cottage enough, Ian decorated the cottage very tastefully and even put a Christmas tree up for us! Thanks again Ian.
Oh and finally, the beds!!! No expense has been spared in this department. I hope this review is helpful for anyone considering booking. If you have any further questions just give me a message.
All in all we had a lovely Christmas 2016, Thank you Ian and John.
The Griffiths family.

This cottage was a luxury house, having been recently renovated by the owners. We had a really warm welcome and the standard of decor and blend of old and new was fantastic. Great holiday and great part of the UK to visit.

Beautifully decorated, a real home from home and stunning views made this one of our most memorable holidays. The owners were so kind and helpful with ideas for days out and local pubs and restaurants to eat! Highly recommended.
