From start to finish our stay was truly exceptional. We felt very privileged to stay in such a magnificent home!! Everything was truly 1st class, from the beautiful suite we stayed in, the incredible breakfast washed down with bubbly (how decadent) and two of the most generous, warm, interesting and welcoming couple you could ever meet. I left feeling genuinely sad leaving them, and a little in love!!!!!! Stay here if you can, the experience is second to none!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

Paul and Alain are the best hosts you will ever find. What a beautiful home - the best place to stay in Rye in my honest opinion. The most accommodating people I’ve met when staying away, so friendly and welcoming. I’d go back in an instant. Highly recommend to anyone. P.S. Everyone should try Alain’s sausages.
Thank you both for the most amazing weekend when it was well and truly needed x

Alan and Paul are exemplary hosts - they are both generous and thoughtful about the well being of their guests. The combination of their hospitality and wonderfully restored property made our short stay very memorable. A great way to brighten January gloom. We highly recommend a stay here and certainly plan to return and explore the Rye area further, Lucy & Terry

Quite simply - superb. The owners, Alan and Paul were welcoming, attentive and fun. Though they also enabled their guests to enjoy their own space too. Our room was a delight and very comfortable. Breakfast choices were extensive and cooked to perfection. Sharing breakfast with the other guests was really enjoyable too. In addition, Our glass of champagne at breakfast and the bedtime nightcap were both a touch of panache. We greatly enjoyed Rye, Winchelsea, Hythe and Deal. Taken all together - a superb 3 day country break and we greatly appreciated the boys’ kindness in showing us the suite of rooms used for weddings - wow! Thank you Alan and Paul and all the best.
