We were looking for a place to stay located between Cal Poly SLO and UCSB, as we had activities to attend at both universities. This house fit the bill as it was easy for us to travel to both schools. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed as a place to unwind after busy days, all for a very reasonable price. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of room to gather in the living room, and the garden was beautiful. Kate was the most gracious host, responding to questions, leaving a very detailed welcome letter, and leaving some goodies for us. We had a great stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We recently stayed at this beautiful cottage in Lompoc for my daughter’s bachelorette retreat, and it was an unforgettable experience. The host was incredibly kind and compassionate. During an unexpected emergency, she offered her prayers and support, which was immensely comforting and helpful.
The cottage itself was magnificent, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. We created wonderful memories with family and friends in this delightful setting. While I highly recommend this place, I almost hesitate to share too much because we’d love to keep it our little secret!
Located in a picturesque and safe neighborhood, the cottage is conveniently close to the emergency room (a detail we unfortunately had to discover), as well as various stores, restaurants, and fast food chains. The views from the house are stunning, and the cleanliness and special touches throughout the home made our stay even more enjoyable. The farm fresh eggs were the perfect touch to our breakfast. The backyard flowers were gorgeous, and we even had the pleasure of meeting their adorable little cat while exploring the garden.
Overall, this is the best place to stay when you’re in the Area. Plenty of parking too. We look forward to returning to this hidden gem!
Thank you for opening your beautiful home. Cant wait to get back in town to stay again.

We rented this home for a girl’s weekend of wine tasting and had a wonderful time. I was a little nervous because at the time of booking it was a new listing with no reviews, but the owner and her son were extremely responsive to my questions and put my mind at ease. Everything went smoothly from an early check-in through check-out. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds extremely comfortable and the owner left us lots of goodies (wine, fresh eggs, and veggies). It is definitely one of the best stocked rental homes I have ever stayed in. The location is great as well – very quiet and an easy stroll into old town Lompoc. Only street parking is available, but we had no problem finding spaces right in front of the house. We initially had a problem with the Wi-Fi, but the owner immediately answered my text with the correct password. Overall, it was a great stay and a perfect base for a weekend of wine country exploration. We will definitely stay again if we return to this area.

My group and I had an incredible stay at Kate’s house in Lompoc. The house is very spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few delicious meals (including breakfast using the fresh farm eggs that our host left us!). I’m looking forward to coming back here next time I’m in town, as this is one of the nicest rental houses that I have ever stayed in.

The property is larger than it first looks. The decor is a nice touch circa 1920 paintings, with comfortable furniture.
The Host (Kate) is great to work with - we blew a light bulb and they fixed it the very next day. The location is on a quiet street that turns into the main street of Lompoc.
The Host left us two bottles of wine and stated we were on vacation so minimal cleanup on departure was required. Great stay. Thank you
