So cute, has everything you need! Nice, hot tub and everything was perfect!

Property was very clean, conveniently located, kitchen well-equipped and we enjoyed the hot tub after a day out (in cold weather)!

We had a wonderful experience in Asheville and this home! It was perfectly clean, quaint, and cozy. We did not have any issues with things not working. We were thrilled to see that the backyard was fenced in for the pups. My only forewarning is that the driveway is STEEP - you definitely will want 4-wheel drive if it snows on your trip here. We would happily rebook!

Great overall experience! The location was perfect, woods all around yet easy access to local attractions. The cabin was so cozy and we loved having a fireplace. Really appreciated all the pet friendly touches as well. Definitely would recommend!

Nice tidy cabin- very convenient to activity in Asheville. We did see a small bear on the last day- so believe it when they tell you to be careful with the trash!

Great location for exploring Asheville and surrounding areas! We really enjoyed our stay

Hummingbird Hill cabin is such a cute spot. It was perfect for our family of 3 and our dog. We really had the best of both worlds because we were minutes from Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore, etc but when we were at "home" it felt like we were in the mountains far away! This was also the most well stocked vacation rental I've stayed in. Towels were near the back door for the hot tub, huge bottles of shower gel in the showers, lots of dishwasher pods, sugar packets etc. I brought all of that stuff but got to leave it in the car! Had a couple of questions and the manager responded super quickly. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

The cabin was perfect for our family. It was nice having a hot tub too. The cabin is near places of interest like the Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville. I would definitely recommend this property.

Had a great time, great stay! Cabin is as advertised, the pictures matched the space. Everything was clean and the hot tub was hot (obviously most important thing, right? Ha). Lots of stuff in the kitchen if you're cooking, and if you have a dog, they take care to leave you all kinds of goodies to make your pet happy. Washer and dryer (and laundry detergent) was also super helpful, and the fact that they provided linens & towels, and stuff like travel sized shampoos/conditioners was fantastic. The only (tiny) things I have to note is that the beds are pretty soft (if you're a firmer bed type of person, it might not be the best of sleep for you, but hey, everyone has a preference), and it's not the most isolated spot. You can see the house below you and the ones across the road on the next hillside, and you can also hear the (sometimes busy) road traffic from below. This didn't matter a whole lot to us, but if you're looking for utter silence, you may be disappointed. But if you're like us -- the warmth of the cabin, the hot tub, the fireplace, the ambiance of the place more than makes up for that. It's not too far from town -- about 15/20 minutes -- and closer to some of hikes & breweries that you might want to visit than if you stayed in town (Sierra Nevada wasn't too far, maybe 15 min?). Combo lock entry was also really convenient. Would definitely stay again, had a great time!

My husband and I had a great long weekend getaway at Hummingbird Hill was great for our needs of relaxing and disconnecting. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the back deck for cocktails and snacks , and loved the little fenced yard so our dog could be out with us. The cabin is super close to everything in downtown Asheville (you can hear some street traffic, but didn’t really bother us) . We had one small issue with smoke alarms and the owner came immediately and took care of it (Thank you, very attentive and easy to reach)

My family enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird Hill. It was a great location, and the cabin was just perfect for those days or nights we just wanted to relax and stay put. Super close to great restaurants, Breweries and the Biltmore!

Our little mountain cabin and getaway was perfect. It is exactly what we needed and the proximity of the property to Asheville was great. We cooked a little and enjoyed the hot tub a lot. The cabin had everything we needed for a quick and convenient visit to Asheville. Thank you to the staff even though we didn't need anything while we were there. We read the guest book and it appeared that everyone shared in our thoughts.

Right away I noticed how clean the cabin was. Everything we needed was provided or close by. We enjoyed the privacy of the location of the cabin. Though you can hear busy road traffic below, that’s the trade off for being close to convenient stores. Water pressure was amazing! On-site laundry was a bonus. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace, and having an enclosed area for our pup. It was a well appointed, charming place to rest at the end of a long day of adventuring.

Property is nicely tucked away for privacy yet it is easily accessible to ALL the Asheville fun spots. We were no more than 15 minutes from Biltmore and the center of Asheville. Access to the cottage was easy and trouble free. Highly recommended!!

We loved our stay at Hummingbird Hill! It's a steep drive to get there, but it's worth it. We loved being at the cabin. Thanks so much to our hosts!

The place is very clean and nice hot tub. Great location and close to Biltmore while is away from the city. Joe has been very responsive with any questions. We enjoyed the stay while my family loves the hot tub!

Clean and cozy cabin tucked in the woods just south of Ashville. Had everything needed for four adults to spend a week exploring and relaxing. Full kitchen was great for cooking and spending time at night under the stars in the hot tub was a lot of fun.

The scenery was beautiful, many places to hike, brought our dogs which was amazing! We were only 5 mins from town with great restaurants. The cabin was very homey.

Excellent, quiet cabin close to downtown but expect a 15 minute drive to downtown. Bedrooms and bathrooms were really clean and comfortable. Provided with ample amount of towels and toiletries. Driveway is a bit steep but manageable.

Loved the cabin and everything about it. Perfect house for what we wanted and enjoyed being so close to a very popular section of asheville

The house was great, very clean and a great location. The hot tub was a nice feature and the front porch is also good for sitting outside. There is some road noise when you’re outside. The driveway is paved but very steep.

We came to Asheville for a little hiking and the house was perfect for our needs. Grateful to find a dog friendly home. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. The driveway is a little challenging but manageable.

Awesome place! Perfect for couples.

This property is a great little getaway that is conveniently located near Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Biltmore Village, and a nice Ingles grocery store. While we were close to the city, we also enjoyed the seclusion of the location. The cabin was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and there was a nice 4-person hot tub on the side porch. The cabin also had a fenced area for our dogs. The property owner was very responsive to questions or anything we needed. If you are looking for a cozy little getaway, then this is a great place!

Great little cabin close to stores and restaurants, less than a mile to grocery store. Also close to blue ridge parkway entrance and the Biltmore estate. Kitchen has full size refrigerator and stove/oven, but is very narrow with small kitchen table. The cabin did have a folding card table to set up in living room. Very clean and everything worked. Parking space was big, easily fitting two cars.

Very clean, secluded and close to everything. Loved it.

We arrived in the dark and the rain. The road to the property was very dark, steep and narrow, which was a bit stressful. The cabin has a coffee maker but no Keurig, which was a bit disappointing. You also hear the road when you are outside. Other than that, the cabin was pleasant, private, and the location was convenient. The hot tub and fireplace were nice and the beds were comfortable.

My boyfriend and I decided to rent this cabin based on previous reviews- and it sure did not disappoint!! This was our first time visiting Asheville and we wanted to experience the city and the surrounding area in the fall. If you are looking for a nice cabin where no one will bother you, far enough from the city to feel like you are in the mountains, yet close enough to quickly get to shops, restaurants, etc- this is the place! For those not used to driving in mountains- the driveway is very steep. It’s paved, but narrow with a sharp bend. So be sure to turn off your vehicles eco-mode before heading up the driveway. The owner was so nice, the check in and out process was super easy, and the place was absolutely immaculate! They even leave out fresh towels, washcloths, and soaps. We didn’t use the soaps since we brought our own, but it was a nice touch! The hot tub was great after a day of hiking, and the fire place was perfect to cuddle up in front of on the chilly nights. The ONLY reason I knocked off 1 star was the showers. If you love super high pressure showers- you won’t have any issues here. But for the rest of us- they hurt! I felt like I was being blasted by a fire hose! I managed by taking a bath instead. Other than that we would 1000% rent this lovely cabin again.

Responsive, easy going and relaxing cabin. Had all the needs for cooking meals with decent kitchenware. Put on alot of miles hiking each day so it was nice to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day over a couple beverages. The chicken and smoked meat resteraunts down the road were some of the best places in the area for food.

Cabin was just as pictured and a very short drive from downtown, and the Biltmore

We arrived on Thursday evening. Enjoyed grilling steaks on the back deck and then eating dinner on the front deck. We visited the Biltmore on Friday. Walked around Downtown Asheville on Saturday. The property was perfect for our group of 4 adults! Kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed. Nice place to stay.

This cabin was perfect! Great location, and clean! Would highly recommend!

The cabin was very accurate to the listing and accommodated us just fine. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a few nights. The driveway was very steep and once we got to the driveway I lost internet so get the key code before you get to the door. The coffee maker light doesn’t work so don’t forget to turn the pot off and the water pressure in the shower is strong!

Just perfect for our family of four plus our daughter's dog. The place was just as described and just as comfortable as being home.

My friend and I rented this cabin for a relaxing getaway in the mountains, but not too mountains. We are city girls and wanted to ensure access to some creature comforts. This place did not disappoint! The renter was super responsive to any and all questions and detailed instructions were provided for reference. The set up is very cute - the walls and loft really give it that cabin vibe. The two bedrooms were expertly appointed with comfortable bedding, spacious storage, en suites, and even a full size washer/dryer. The kitchen came with coffee maker and coffee and allowed for al fresco happy hours and dining. The front porch was the perfect setting for a relaxing morning cup of coffee as we planned our Asheville adventures. My only word of caution would be the driveway - it’s a bit tricky to locate in the dark if unfamiliar and can be challenging if unaccustomed to NC hills. We chose to Uber on our adventures to take advantage of the local knowledge. Otherwise, this was a great rental. Would rent again!
