OTHER THINGS
Things to be aware of.
Wood stove
The wood stove is great for all seasons. First open the chimney flue (left side of
stove). Once the fire is started, use the screen to prevent sparks or coal from
discharging on the floor. At night, remove the screen and close the main doors. We do not provide wood, but here is a number to purchase some.
Cleanliness
We love our cabin and enjoy the serene feeling we get when we are here. We hope you have the same feelings. Please help us keep this cabin free of critters, by cleaning up your dishes and trash. Please do not leave leftover food in the fridge as well.
Septic System
This property runs on a septic system. Food, grease and other foreign objects
can cause major harm to our septic system. Please do not put grease or food
down the sinks. Please only flush anything other than toilet paper.
Water cistern
We do our best to ensure you have all the necessities to enjoy your stay. We will need your help in some areas. This property runs on a limited water supply.
Please be aware of your water usage. It is a precious resource. Use the filtered
water pitcher for drinking water or buy some bottled water. The water delivery service comes every other Sunday. You should not need to do anything for this service.
