About this cabin rental
The most coveted Shaver Lake neighborhood! 10 min walk to Dorabelle Cove lake beaches and 5 min walk to Village restaurants, shops & bars. Central air/heat, high speed wifi & pet friendly.
Soak in the peaceful wooded surroundings from large windows and wraparound deck. Renovated kitchen stocked with all your cooking needs. Newer mattresses & linens. S'mores, sleds, floaties, beach towels/chairs, umbrellas and sand toys provided. Cozy fireplace with firewood provided. 19 miles to China Peak Ski Resort.
Dorabelle Cove is a 10 min walk from the cabin and offers lake/beach access and hiking trails with lake views (free to walk in, $10 day use for cars). The walk down has a downhill slope/walk back has an incline.
We are a pet-friendly cabin with a $100 pet fee, and provide pet food/water bowls, dog toys/balls and pet waste bags. Pets must be 100% reliably potty-trained and well behaved. Pets are not allowed on beds/couches and cannot be left unsupervised unless crated. Potential guests with dog hair allergies, please be aware that even though the cabin is throughly cleaned, dander may still be in the air/vents.
We provide regular and decaf coffee, sugar, alternative sugars, creamer and a Keurig coffee maker with ability to brew both full pot or individual cup. We provide teas, hot chocolate, microwavable popcorn and S'mores!
The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including 4-burner electric stove/oven, BBQ propane grill, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, pots & pans, baking ware, cooking and eating utensils, cooking oils, herbs, spices, plates, cups, wine glasses, bottle and wine openers, blender, hand mixer and waffle maker.
Fresh bed linens and towels are provided for your stay and there is a full size washer and dryer for your use.
The interior is all single level, but there’s a staircase to get up to the front door/deck - you cannot access the house without the stairs. The side staircase has less steps, but that portion of the driveway can be covered in snow in the winter.
There is a comfy hammock stored under the middle bedroom Queen bed you can hang on the poles off side yard by kitchen, and a corn hole game stored under primary room bed. We provide plenty of board games, card games, dominoes, toys etc. for all age levels.
Firewood is provided for the fireplace and the cabin has Central Heat and Air to keep you comfortable.
Plenty of sleds are provided under the cabin and you can walk to sledding hills at Dorabelle Cove or drive to the Tamarack or Coyote Snow Parks (15 min drive)

This Shaver Lake retreat was perfect for us. Clean and well equipped and spacious for three adults--one couple, one single brother. Coffee and dinner on the deck with no sound but wind in the trees--there was no bleed from the highway at all and a good neighborhood for walking. We wish it could have been much longer than 4 nights!

Ellie had every amenity you could ever need! Beach towels, extra blankets, spices, condiments, etc.Fully equiped kitchen and laundry room. The cabin was so inviting and cozy. We had games to play, tv provided a great selection of cable, bathroom had extra items everyone forgets (razors, toothbrushes, sunscreen, etc ) . Our trip was to spend time with our grandboys and fish. Loved Shaver Lake Road 2 beach and Huntington lake. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!
Thank you Ellie for sharing your wonderful cabin!!

The home was exactly as described and even cuter in person. We felt very at home and appreciated the amenities! We were able park easily on the property, even with the snow and are within an easy walking distance to town. The owners were very communicative and kind throughout our stay - we would definitely stay again. Thank you!
