The property is very modern a contemporary holiday let accommodation,
which also incorporates elements of the traditional Maltese style.

THE HEALTH AUTHORITIES. In the heart of Valletta, just a side lane with
Republic Street, one finds this cozy, modern, and well-crafted Duplex
Penthouse. This property is for those who want to be in the midst of
city life surrounded by shops and restaurants, yet spent tranquil
nights perhaps sipping some good local wines on the terrace. The
accommodation is located on the 2nd floor served with stairs which is
very typical of our Capital. On the first level ones finds an
attractive square kitchen dining area which gives way to a metal
staircase leading to the bright bedrooms on a mezzanine level. The
kitchen comes fully equipped to prepare own meals, with crockery, pots
and pans, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and more….On the
mezzanine level one finds the first 2 bedrooms both with a well sized
double bed. On the same floor there is also a family bathroom with
shower cubicle and yet another sofa bed that could comfortably sleep 2
more persons. The master bedroom with en-suite with an open plan shower
are located on the 2nd floor. The upper floor is flooded with natural
light as the glass door serves as one of the main features in the
living room. On climbing the stairs one can find the living room with
an L-shapes sofa ideal for large groups and families to sit all
together. The living room leads to a very spacious terrace adorned with
gas bbq and outdoor seating area. Ideal for unwinding after a busy day.
This Duplex Penthouse has one of the most strategic locations and oozes
with bespoke modern features though honouring the old building
historical beauty. Further complementing this property are the wall
hung a/cs in each room that might be a need in the hot swelling days of
our Summers. A simple way to live the traditional way for large groups
or families, a rarity in Valletta.Access to all the area of the
property. The whole property will be rented, the property is private
and not shared with any other tenants.We will meet you on your arrival
and we'll be happy to give you tips for making your holiday an
unforgettable experience. We can also organise airport
transfers.Valletta has many titles, all recalling its rich historical
past. It is the "modern" city built by the Knights of St John; a
masterpiece of the Baroque; a European Art City and a World Heritage
City. Today, it is one of the most concentrated historic areas in the
world.The city is busy by day, yet retains a timeless atmosphere by
night, that gives the feeling that you are walking back in time. The
grid of narrow streets boasts some of Europe's finest art works,
churches and palaces.Valletta is abundantly rich in sites to see and
explore, intriguing historical buildings around every corner: votive
statues, niches, fountains and coats of arms high up on parapets.
Narrow side streets are full of tiny quaint shops and cafés, while
Valletta's main streets are lined with larger international branded
shops for fashion, music, jewellery and much more.The best way to get
around and see the most, from your visit to Valletta, is on foot and
although the things to do & see are many, a good start and definitely
not to be missed are Valletta's beautiful gardens. The Upper Barrakka
Gardens, Hastings Gardens & the Lower Barrakka Gardens are just three
of the most popular ones. Apart from beautiful Baroque churches other
places of interest include the various grandmaster auberges, piazzas &
museums. As in the rest of the country, the restaurant scene in
Valletta is an eclectic mix offering a variety of cuisines to satisfy
all tastes and budgets.A growing number of eateries around the city are
now offering local fare, serving their own versions of traditional
specialities.Maltese cuisine is the result of a long relationship
between the islanders and the many conquerors who occupied the Maltese
Islands over the centuries. This marriage of tastes has given local
gastronomy a Mediterranean character all its own.And nowhere is this
mixture of culture and cuisne more strongly felt than in Malta's
cosmopolitan capital.A Bus Stop is close by, only a few metres away
from the apartment. No car is necessary, the apartment is walking

Parking in the City comes at a charge during certain hours during the
day topping up a maximum of around 6euro daily.Due to cleaning
necessities the check-in time for the apartments is generally 2.00pm
and the check-out is at 10.00am however if there are no arrivals on the
same day the apartment can be kept for longer.Please not that for the
weekly price the property includes basic utilities as per below:-
150KWh- for 2 bedroom apartmentWe give the above kWh free per week with
the apartment which is more than sufficient . However if the inclusive
amount of KWh will be exceed, an extra charge will apply at a rate of
0. 35c per KWh. Other than that there are no other hidden expenses or
charges.Also please note that when the monthly rate is selected, the
price is NOT inclusive of any utilities. Those would be paid for as
much as one consumes. Water is charged at a flat rate of 1.10c per day
while electricity it is charged at 35c per kWh paid as much as
consumed. The payment has to be settled on check in.Cleaning of the
property prior the arrival and after departure is included in the
price. Any extra cleaning during accommodation will incur extra
charges. Two sets of towels per person and one set of linen per bed is
also provided by us, then it is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as
much often as desired. Apartment also available for long term booking
of 6 months period maximum with a monthly rate, in such case utilities
will not be included in the rate. Please do ask for quote should you be
interestedPlease note that the rental price does not include the
Environmental Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to
€0.50c per night up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the
Maltese Islands. This applies for 18-year-old and older.
