Luxury at budget price! Perfect stay along the sea.

Such a beautiful hostel - more like a hotel! Perfect facilities, great price and lovely staff. The rooftop makes it! Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in Tanger. Immaculate.

Bathroom slightly smelly but I understand that is common in Tangier. Did not affect stay.

Una porta sul Marocco

Struttura moderna con una bellissima terrazza con vista sul mare dal quale fare un'ottima colazione. Lo staff giovane è accogliente e ti fa sentire in famiglia. Un ottimo punto di partenza per esplorare Tangeri e calarti gradualmente nello stile di vita del Marocco.

A brilliant place - 110% recommend Socco Hostel for your stay in Tangier

We loved everything about Socco Hostel and recommend it very highly. Fantastic set up and facilities in the heart of the Medina, warm and welcoming owners and team, amazing rooftop and other communal spaces and great breakfast - we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Our group shared a room for 6 with bathroom which was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners have taken the best of the hostels they have stayed at in their travels and put it all in one place. If we could give Socco Hostel a 20 out of 10, we would!

Nada negativo a apontar

A localização é mesmo no meio da Medina é fácil de encontrar trar, excelente pequeno almoço no terraço com vistas para o mar mas o melhor foi o pessoal do hostel , super simpáticos e prestáveis, sempre disponíveis para ajudar e prestar qualquer informação!

Ainda que fosse um dormitório, tive sorte e era muito silencioso, tudo bastante limpo e a cama super confortável! Bom pequeno almoço no terraço com vistas para o Mediterrâneo. Havia boa internet e mesa com condições para trabalhar durante o dia!

warmth of the staff, mattress, tha fact that the female bedroom is big, bathroom clean and comfy and overall the whole property resembles a hotel rather than a hostel with how much care the owners put into it. There is not one thing i can point at and say that it could be improved because everyone is really doing a lovely job. Thank you for this lovely experience.

Muy buena relación calidad / precio, muy limpio y empleados super amables.

La amabilidad de los empleados y propietarios, la situación y las vistas excepcionales desde la terraza. Las habitaciones y baños muy limpios y el desayuno en la terraza, fantástico.

El parking no es del hotel, está a 5 minutos andando y es público. Lógico por otro lado al estar el Hostel dentro de la medina.

Expérience magnifique

Personnel ultra compétent et très à l'écoute. Une équipe bien accueillante et chaleureuse. L'hostel est ultra propre et très esthétique. La sécurité est prise au sérieux. Caméras de surveillance + badges et cadenas avec vigile à l'entrée en soirée. Le petit déjeuner marocain est à volonté avec des produits frais et locaux, réalisés le jour même Le rooftop est incroyable et ultra reposant avec une vue imprenable sur le port de Tanger. L hostel est très bien situé et une vidéo explicative du trajet est envoyée par l'équipe avant l'arrivée à l'hostel. Les chambres sont très confortables et lumineuses. Cuisine à disposition si vous voulez cuisiner

Un peu d'écho dans les escaliers donc prenez des boules quies pour dormir. Un sèche cheveux dans la douche privée serait idéal

Experiencia en Socco

El edificio es muy bonito, la habitación tiene una decoración muy funcional y cómoda. La terraza tiene unas vistas impresionantes. El desayuno es muy completo y está todo buenísimo. Es un sitio muy recomendable para alojarse en Tanger. El equipo que trabaja en Socco es muy profesional, siempre intentan ayudarte. Hemos estado mejor que en casa. Volveremos

Prachtige locatie en prachtige gerenoveerde riad.

Staf heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en super proper. De locatie is top. Het dakterras is fantastisch. Ontbijt is super lekker ,spijtig dat je geen scrambled egg kan vragen ipv hard gekookt. Maar we hebben er genoten! We gaan zeker terug als we naar Tanger gaan!

Very cute hostel in Tanger

Cute hostel, clean, comfortable, good tech for opening doors, nicely decorated and a great rooftop terrace! Breakfast was good, the little pancakes and breads made by the lady there were delicious and a great area with a view to serve breakfast! And I made friends with the hostel kitty cat, she followed me around and stayed with me when I had a backache. :)

If possible, keep the initial breakfast hours ...it was very good to be able to have it until 11.00

Perfect Views from the terrace! Clean and great location!

Great location, lovely breakfast, superb WiFi connection and clean room. Really good stay in Tangier. Also, they have the cutest cat to boost your mood :) The terrace views are a big plus. I arrived after check in time because of the later train, and there was someone waiting for me which is much appreciated. There was a mix up with the rooms on the first night and they showed me a room that was already taken. Awkward at first, but it was quickly fixed :)

Can't think of anything, this is a good place to stay when in Tangier 👋

Fantastisch, aanrader!

Echt een aanrader, is een top accomodatie! Het hotel/hostel is nog heel nieuw, modern en comfortabel en heel fris en schoon. Er is een hele fijne sfeer, erg gastvrij en vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel. Prachtig ingericht, super dakterras. Heerlijk ontbijt met allemaal versproducten uit de buurt. We voelden ons daar heel erg thuis, vonden het jammer dat we alweer weg moesten en zouden graag nog eens teruggaan. Absolute aanrader!!! De locatie is echt top, vlak bij de zee en het strand, kamer en dakterras met fantastisch uitzicht over de zee en de oude stad. Het ligt in een rustig straatje, maar heel centraal. Het hotel heeft ook een mooie missie om de lokale mensen te steunen. Het heeft onze verwachting ruim overtroffen, was echt top!!

Wij vonden het fantastisch!! Aanrader!

Fantastisches Hostel

Fantastische Lage, toll renoviertes Hostel mit großartigem Design. Wir hatten das Doppelzimmer mit eigenes Terrasse und waren komplett verzaubert. Das Zimmer und das gesamte Hostel sind der absolute Traum. Frühstück ist klasse und die Dachterrasse lädt zum Träumen ein.

No podría quedarme con una sola cosa! Me encantó todo!!!! Desde la atención hasta la despedida, tod@s encantadores, super limpio Y con mucho estilo, cálido y acogedor. Las vistas son de las mejores que he visto y os recomiendo coger siempre la estancia con el desayuno ( riquísimo) sin duda será mi sitio siempre que vaya a tanger. Gracias socco hostel!😍

From the the ground to the rooftop: a really charming place to stay

I came as one of the first guest after the opening of the hostel and left with the certitude that for my next stay in Tanger I don‘t have to search any more for accomodation. The owner hinself traveled a lot in the world abd wanted this hostel to become one built upon his best experiences… and I can only conform, I felt so welcome in this amazing building with a lot of meeting places and the wonderful rooftop!

Extraordinairement Magique !

Waoooooouuuuuuh quel plaisir d'avoir pu séjourner dans cet incroyable hébergement. Tout est top et exceptionnel. De l'accueil à la décoration en passant par la propreté irréprochable, la vue depuis le rooftop, la qualité de la literie, les activités proposées, les espaces communs etc... Rida le propriétaire des lieux est une belle personne au coeur bon. Il est souriant, bienveillant, disponible, réactif. Sa compagne Leïla, qui est à ses côtés, posséde les mêmes belles qualités que Rida et c'était toujours fort agréable d'échanger avec elle. On sent que c'est un couple très humain avec de vraies valeurs. Dalal à la réception est extraordinaire. Toujours souriante, douce et patiente. Saïda la fille de service est une vraie fée du logis. Elle tient la propreté des lieux comme personne et a toujours le sourire. Elle est adorable. Quel bonheur d'avoir eu le privilége de côtoyer cette belle équipe qui, à mes yeux, est une grande famille. On les sent tous très proches les uns des autres et il y a beaucoup de respect et de considération les uns envers les autres. Bravo et bonne continuation. Je ne vous oublierai pas.

Le fait de devoir quitter cet endroit magique. J'y suis restée 10 jours et j'étais triste de partir.
