The hotel is still new and everything in the room was new. The room was pretty big. The bathroom was large and shower was modern. The bed was comfortable.

It was perfect for attending the games on campus. The staff were super helpful! Will definitely stay again.

I failed to realize this hotel was on the college campus so when Maps was taking me there, which the app was taking me to the wrong building, I was a bit freaked out. The lady at check-in was super helpful. The building we stayed in is next to the building that houses check-in, the fitness room (super nice), and the market. Make sure you have your license plate number upon check-in. When you use the fitness facility don't don't be loud on the floor. Maybe after a certain hour that's fine. Mine was before six so... Overall they are cool remodeled buildings.

The hotel Ursa is clean, functional, and adequate. Do not expect frills or extras.

Could not get the window treatment to work so shades were down the whole time, otherwise stay was great.

Clean and quaint. On college campus. Nice!

The hotel is beautiful. They have kept the charm of the historic buildings while also including all of the updated amenities you could want. We found our room to be stylish and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we find ourselves in the area. As an UMaine alumna it was a wonderful opportunity to revisit the campus and found the innovation and execution of on-campus accommodations to be impressive!

So convenient to stay on campus when visiting my students! Campus was beautiful too. Very cool vibe in this hotel. I stayed in an older building which was super cool inside but a little in need of a cleaning outside. I couldn’t reach my curtain without climbing on a chair because it was very high up due to age of building and breakfast and coffee is not free but it was super clean and so convenient! Would stay again!

The hotel is located on University campus and traveling with young children we were looking forward to using the pool but we found out we had to purchase a full day pass I think moving forward it would be great if the hotel covered this cost.

THe stay was very pleasant. I appreciate the fact that the hotel ground is on campus which add another layer of security for comfort. There are a couple thing I would like to suggest:
1. Bathroom needs an exhaust fan to release moisture to the outside and not it hangs into the room.
2. Have a to-go breakfast bag if you can't provide a continential breakfast. To-go bag sounds great for an on-campus vibe.
Just my observation,
Thank you

We went on a one week vacation thru Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. On our return we decided to stop off at your hotel pretty much last min and I must say that it was by far the best hotel we went to. Beautiful room , clean , and a big TV to boot. Amazing area and the staff were fantastic, I asked if there was a good restaurant nearby and she suggested Pepper’s Landing. It was the cherry on top the amazing vacation. Such a beautiful place and surroundings.. will definitely return. Thanks soo much

everything was great, very clean and new

Nice hotel but had some problems. Door to room doesn’t automatically close; you need to really pull it closed each time. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Found lots of hair on the floor, in the shower, on the linens. Dead spider on the freshly made bed when we arrived.

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The room door was extremely difficult to open, requiring significant effort to push it in. Upon entering, I was met with a strong smell of wet cement, which was quite unpleasant. The window shades were non-functional and couldn't be lifted.
The shower head was broken, and the bathroom lacked proper ventilation, leading to excessive steam and constantly wet towels. Additionally, there was no breakfast included, and the coffee I purchased tasted like watered-down coffee.
Overall, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

In the heart of UMaine Orono, a pleasant surprise. Described as a new building on campus by hotel staff, the room is well-appointed. Large, clean and comfortable. Great parking, safe/secure building. A hidden jewel!

We only stayed for one night, but I am impressed with the front desk staff and the cleanliness of the room. Very impressed and we will be back!

The hotel room I stayed was new and clean. No parking was available for my late arrival so had to park in a remote lot 8-10 minute walk away. No free breakfast, the small cafe had a limited menu and closed at 10. All in all a meh stay, for what they charge it should be more upscale, have more facilities or at least breakfast.

This hotel, on the campus of the university of Maine, appeared to be brand new, super clean, secure, and well appointed. We stayed there for one night at the start and two nights at the end of our trip, both rooms were similarly designed. The first room had a broken shade, stuck in the down position. Otherwise everything worked. There is a microwave, small fridge, one comfy chair with ottoman and a nice desk chair and TV in each room. A nice coffee shop with a few tasty pastries, solid coffee service and fruit offerings was steps away. One of the nicest reading rooms/lounge that we’ve ever encountered was close to the cafe. One has to drive a few miles to find a restaurant/bar/shopping. We didn’t offer a five star rating only because of the isolation from restaurants and the broken shade.

Very pleasant surprise how ultra clean and very reasonable costs

No shower door/curtain, water splashed everywhere. They are asking for mold issues with these poorly designed showers. Water pressure in shower was weak. Room smelled very strongly like some kind of chemical, maybe new carpet? Very unpleasant, borderline unbearable. If I wasn’t so tired I would have left or asked for a different room. Mirrors smudgy. No wifi password or instructions given. Pillows uncomfortable. The deadbolt on the door was broken and not able to be locked, it did not line up with the hole. Overall a severe lack of attention to detail in the design of the room and the overall experience. The campus itself is beautiful and hopefully they can fix these issues and turn this place around for the better.
