Comfortable, clean. Great facilities, lovely breakfast đ
4.0 / 10.0
The kitchen area was well-equipped
The service was very disappointing and the staff were ignorant. There was no hand wash in the bathroom and we had to make several calls to sort out anything that we needed in the room. The spare bed was very uncomfortable and didn't serve the purpose. The spa treatment was a waste of money. I had the worst facial ever.

Great location, pool, tasty breakfast, amazing staff in reception and dining area as well. Want to say additional thank you for Viktoria and Heni for looking after us during our stay. Definitely, we will come back again.
Creaking floor. No access to Netflix (doesnât work).

Well presented clean and spacious and we loved the bathroom especially the shower.
Front door wasnât very good it was a bit stiff the living room could have done with a small coffee table to place your drinks on and a blind in the l kitchen window everything else was super

The accommodation was lovely, very modern and clean and set in lovely grounds. The complex where the pool, spa and food area was , was gorgeous. The beds were very comfy and the shower was powerful. The breakfast was lovely and food in the sports bar was fantastic. We loved the fact it was easy to get to and a good base for exploring Wales. We had a peacock come to the cabin in the morning which was lovely as you really felt like you were in the countryside. The views were absolutely stunning especially from the dining room. The complex was very quiet so fabulous if you were wanting a quiet getaway with a touch of luxury.
Itâs not what we didnât like itâs more of an observation:
There wasnât a coffee table in the lounge so couldnât put any drinks down which increases the risk of spillages.
Only 1 bin in the property which I feel could have had some in the bathrooms.
No lamps in the living room so at night you either had to have the main lights on which were too bright or be in darkness.
This sounds really odd but when you flushed the toilet the water was boiling hot - there were no signs to warn you of this! Also the hot water coming from the taps was extremely dangerous so I feel warning stickers could have been placed to warn you especially if you have younger children in your company.
On one of the days we went for breakfast at 09:10 but they had ran out of bacon and sausage so was told they had to send someone out to purchase more - this meant we didnât have a full breakfast.
All the above being said hasnât put us off coming again as it was a really lovely place to stay.

Location was perfect. The lodges were well spaced out and the atmosphere was serene.
We had a beautiful peacock on our balcony which was a bonus.
The swimming pool was so much fun for the kids!
I liked that there were a few car parks close to chalets which were further away from the main reception.
The bathroom was well equipped and the shower was great.
Loved that there was a waterfall only a 2 minute drive away.
The rooms were dusty and we had spiders in both of our rooms. The pillows were hard which made it difficult for kids to sleep on.

This was my second visit here,I was so impressed the first time,so this time we upgraded to a superior lodge which includes the hot tub, this time when we arrived and got given our keyâŚour lodge did not have a cleanliness paper at the door handle to state it had been cleanedâŚas we entered I could see the cleanliness was not matched with the first time we stayed, there were also only two robes which was not enough for the 4 of us,and considering it was a hot tub lodge Iâd of definitely expected 4,when we lifted the hot tub cover off the water looked a little murky, there was sand at the bottom tooâŚ.the glass doors on the lodge were dirty and marked and the peacock came and took a dump on our decking area,of course we didnât mind but the âdog poo bagsâ were empty, also, the bin situation isnât great, nowhere to take your rubbish
That we paid more and got less

Neatness in the main building and the restaurant
A lot of cob webs on the windows and the porch although this is not necessarily dirtiness but something to consider before getting a new customer in

Very clean and spacious. Amazing spa facilities and staff.
Minor amenities required such as a coffee table, more utensils. Could have used another person at reception or automatic check in.

Loved the room and cabin it was within. Bed was so comfy and the restaurant and sports bar was fantastic! Big pool too! Was fantastic all round!
Only thing was that the pool was fairly cold.

The staff were lovely apart from the leisure centre guy. He was not lovely.
⢠Absolutely no chance of an early check in.
⢠The chalet was then not ready for another 20 minutes.
⢠We had a downstairs chalet which are badly designed. Every step and door opening and closing from the chalet above was deafening!
⢠The chalets were also very difficult to navigate around and find.
⢠Asked well in advance for an extra bed and was told they could not confirm.
⢠Only found out we had an extra bed when we opened the door to the chalet.
⢠The extra bed wouldn't fit in the bedroom though.
⢠There were very few tea bags in the room and had to ask for more at reception.
⢠The double bed was only 'queen' size.
⢠The indoor 'heated' swimming pool was very cold as was the jacuzzi.
⢠There were no towels on the Sunday morning for the pool. Asked what appeared to be the leisure centre manager at the pool if they had towels 'No! ask reception' asked reception and they said ask at the pool.
⢠Not enough loungers or seating by the pool.
⢠The main restaurant food was average.
⢠Given 3 tiny bits of bread when ordering bread as a starter. I mean TINY.
⢠Very expensive food and drink.
⢠'Posh' restaurant was right next to their nightclub doing a bottomless brunch which was so loud at points I couldn't hear what people were saying.
⢠Terrible building layout with weak signage to navigate.
⢠Paid for a spa treatment online only to find there was 20% off all treatments on arrival.

The accomodation was clean and fit for purpose and the restaurant was lovely. The site is beautiful with a wonderful balcony that one can see some beautiful views from.

Not much as suited our needs

Spacious and clean. Simplistic and modern. Layout of the property and the resort. Location.
There were ants in the kitchen, but it didnât put us off because for this time of year ants are a common nuisance. We just dealt with them. The rubbish bags from the previous guests were still on the decking by the doors when we arrived and stayed there until I moved them the next day to the side of the path. I did wonder if they would of collected them had I not have moved them, but again not a big deal. Just a mistake on someoneâs part and we all make them.
Car parking space by our property is hit and miss, lucky if you get a space and when youâve got someone parking over two bays itâs really annoying.

beautiful clean chalet and well kept communal area despite ongoing renovations

The lodge was huge.
Good location
Swimming pool and sauna included in price.
Reception staff good and helpful
Nice cocktails and big mocktail menu.
Forgot to set extra bed up as requested and was told no beds left so my 3 year old had to sleep in a cot that got dropped off. In the lodge the heaters are extremely confusing, no instructions, not set up to come on as the timebwas wrong on them, no batteries in the remotes for them either.
No hairdryer or iron in room
Went for a drink in the lounge bar, staff we're disagreeing with each other and to get 2 drinks with 2 people infront of me at the bar it took 45 minutes by the time they arrived at the table.
Until about 10pm we could hear very loud music we assume must of been coming from the sports bar. Most of the lodges would of been able to hear this as well were far away.
For breakfast the lounge do baps for ÂŁ3.50 and croissants for ÂŁ1 which is very reasonable. So we went into the lounge to be told because it's Sunday carvery day they don't do food in the lounge and we could go the buffet for ÂŁ16 each instead. On every table in the lounge it says The lounge breakfast 8 -12. 7 days a week. These need changing.
