Everything is good just only the check out time is too early .10am check out time is too rush :(
The view and the hotspring in the room are very nice .

This hotel made the best it experience in Hakone, first 2 days were super cloudy but on the third day we got to se Mt Fuji from the terrace. The place is just perfect!
4.7
The property is in the very best location at Motohakone. Direct view of Mount Fuji the otherside of Lake Ashi.
The checking in process was a lot better than some of teh reviews here. We got into the property easily and checked in with a tablet
My only gripe is the inability store luggage at the property. the lockers at the bus station is close enough at 700Yen for a large locker

This was such a beautiful hotel. We stayed at some very nice ones during our trip to Japan and this was the most amazing of them all with gorgeous views of Mt Fuji and Lake Ashi. It’s hard to beat sitting in your private onsen with water from a natural hot spring while gazing at Mt Fuji. The room is equipped with every amenity making for a comfortable stay, including very comfy pjs. The fridge is stocked with some drinks and alcohol, at no cost. The large screen projector was great, even if we couldn’t access many channels/movies. Check-in takes a few minutes but it’s done through a tablet in your room. We got an auto-generated email a day prior to check in requesting passport info for each guest, which you’ll want to complete prior to arrival to make check in easier. The room number and access code to the room will then be sent to you. Once in your room, you will self check in using the tablet by the large screen. The check in involves taking pics of each guest and a call to a live person through the tablet who verifies the info. Check out is a breeze and is through the tablet as well. The Hakone Tozan Bus goes by the hotel, which is covered by the Hakone Free Pass. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Hakonemachi-ko, one of the ports for the pirate ship and where you can get a meal. If you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to unwind, relax, have some respite and recharge, this hotel is the place to be. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

Fantastic view! Location is also very convenient.

Nice and quiet, cozy location. Easy access to Hakone attractions. Easy check-in and check-out process. Love the private onsen and the magnificent view
4.7
I like the property and it’s very comfortable to stay with family.
4.7
Beautiful hotel. Free Parking. Clean. Great view of lake and Mt. Fuji. Short walk to 7-11. Instructions for check-in sent the day before. Easy process and had no problems. Note that there is no hotel staff on site for check-in so you won't be able to send your luggage ahead of your arrival.
4.7
Stunning views of lake Ashinoko and Mt Fuji, very well equipped modern property.
4.7
This hotel was amazing… the most beautiful views, spacious, clean, loved the balcony and the onsen overlooking Mt. Fuji. Would stay here again. Great for a family trip or a couple stay. Arrived late night and didn’t realize the 7-11 was just 1 minute down the road.

We loved our stay here! Based on reviews, I made sure we had instructions for check in the day before, so everything went smoothly. The private onsen and view of the lake was AMAZING. We could see the the Hakone shrine gate from our living room. Extra food amenities in the frig for us was a great touch. Only glitch was that we couldn’t get the vending to work to refill coffee. But once our Japanese friend joined us, it worked on her phone. Restaurants close early in Hakone, about 5-6pm, so eat early or it’s Seven eleven (which we actually liked!) Wish we could have stayed longer!

The hotel was amazingly beautiful. We woke up to views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi. The check in process was fairly easy with the tablet in room. Just make sure you receive the check in process the day before. I did not but made sure to email the property based on the reviews I read and they sent it to me to pre-register. It was a nice welcome with the cold drinks, snacks and sweet treat. We weren't sure about some items in the room but were able to communicate with staff via the tablet to sort things out easily. The 7-11 and bus stop were within walking distance of the hotel. I would totally recommend this property and want to stay here again!
4.7
Beautiful location and views of Mt. Fuji and the lake. Poor pedestrian access to the property from the bus stop on a busy road. “Automated” hotel with no staff per se. Communication via tablet computer. Private onsen with a view was really nice. Excellent amenities including food and drink were available.
4.7
Absolutely beautiful place with amazing views. I would live there if I could.
4.7
This property is self check in. There is no front desk and staff are few and far between. They are largely out of sight. We did not receive our entry code information 24 hours ahead as promised. Multiple calls and intervention through Expedia finally got us the information needed. Once we were in the room, the hassle was well worth it. Beautiful, spacious, and lots of amenities. Fridge stocked with free drinks and snacks. Private onsen in room. Very modern, high tech and immaculate. Would stay again now that we know the process.
4.7
Great hotel. Go to the local combini and buy instant noodle and precooked meat slices to make hotpot in your room.
One issue relating to hotels.com. Hotels.com did not provide the necessary information for me to enter the hotel. But don’t worry, contact the hotel directly and you will get a Japanese support representative that speaks English. You can trust that the Japanese representative will diligently work to resolve your issue. They will issue you an email with room number and password. However, they will give you an estimate time of 1-2 hours. Just speak slow and they will understand you.
4.7
I didn’t the code to the door and since these places are unmanned I have 0 way into the building. I had to get help from another person staying there that happened to speak English to get me to the tablet for help. If that person hadn’t shown up I would have been stuck outside
4.7
Perfect view of Mt Fuji, and beautiful lake. Public transportation and taxis very limited.
4.7
Awsome location excellent views of the lake and Fuji (if the weather permits). Best place in town.
4.7
Everything. All amenities were so well thought off. The free drinks and welcome cake, the footspa on the balcony, the binoculars, the heated floors in the bathroom.
4.7
Check-in process was terrible. It took me several hours on the phone while away in Japan to get the instructions to access the property. E-mail with instructions was never delivered. Not even the Hotels.com rep was able to get assistance on the phone from the property manager.
4.7
Our room was spacious with good scenary. The property was well kept and in very good condition. The only regret we had was booking it for one night. Should have spent at least 2 nights.
4.7
Absolutely loved this place! Great for one person up to a small group or family. Looks exactly as advertised. With some amenities, a 7/11, and small restaurants nearby. The private onsen and terrace view was amazing. Place is close to bus stations for easy transportation. (But not near any trains be aware of that) And close to the pier for boat rides. My only problem was that I had a hard time checking in. I never received an email with check in details and had no cell service to call anyone. I was locked out of the building for a good 30 minutes. Thankfully some friendly people showed me to a check in tablet inside and I was able to video call and get everything sorted. Everyone I spoke to was kind and helpful. Despite the bad experience at the beginning, I really enjoyed my time here. I deinitely recommend staying here but would love to see improvement for check in. Maybe having the check in tablet outside by the front door would be helpful to prevent issues like this
4.7
Everything about this property was fantastic. The lake is beautiful. We had to full days of rain and still enjoyed our stay. Our only issue was with the checkin process
4.7
The best hotel we had during our three week stay in Japan. Absolutely mesmerizing views of Lake Ashinoko ( Mount Fuji on clear days) and a private Onsen (with real Onsen Water) in every apartment. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and a modern interior design with good ACs plus floor heating. The Projector comes with a decent Soundbar and Netflix, Disney Plus, etc. allow for movie nights as well. The food bath on the balcony is also a welcome sight after a long hike.
Situated at a great starting point for Hakone Trips, with the Hakone Shrine, the Pirate boat and old Tokaido Road right next to it. Larger crowds unfortunately come with those attractions during the day, but can mostly be avoided in the early morning or evening, as most people take the bus or ferry to Motohakone. There are also a 24h 711 and a Lawson Convenience Store in town. Most restaurants in the area close very early or only accept reservations, so better plan your meals ahead.
Busses to Hakone Yumoto, Odawara, Mishima etc. are stopping pretty much in front of the hotel. So arriving by Shinkansen or RomanceCar-Train is easy.
Only big caveat: The Check In Information was not send to us by RakutenStay. I had to call a (very expensive) hotline on the morning of our arrival to finally get it. Expedia and RakutenStay should probably work on their communication to avoid moments like that in the future.

The stay is like something our of a fairytale! You can see the views of the mountains, lake and the tori gates. The property is right by the water. It has the most up to date amenities! Including your own footbath out doors and a full private onsen that opens up to the views! 10/10 can not recommend this place enough! It was literally the most transformative part of our trip to Japan.
4.7
Had a great experience, the view was stunning
4.7
The hotel opened three weeks before our stay, so it was absolutely stunning and modern. we also had a gorgeous view of Mt Fuji from our balcony in the morning. the personal onsen was also a great touch. beware that this is a digital hotel, so check in is a little frustrating. the other issue is that you can only use the wending machine if you have a Japanese mobile phone (eSim does not work) and it is a self catering hotel. restaurants around close at 5, there is a pizzeria with last order at 7. Your best bet is Lawson or 7/11

Loved it
4.7
There are no staff at this hotel / it’s kind of like home sharing property when you are on your own . The location was perfect because you can take the boat from the pier that is super close . Everything was nice clean and new. Make sure to buy food because everything is close in this area at 5. Everything. So get there early and buy food.
4.7
Beautiful new, clean accommodations with a priceless view of Fuji-san from your own private onsen. What more could you ask for?
4.7
Unbelievable location, phenomenal property with a beautiful views. Walkable distance to most restaurants. Best property out of 7 during our 2 week visit. One thing to note, the second bedroom does not have a closet or a room for your bags
4.7
This unit had a great view and was very clean. We had problems when checking in since this hotel was a "no-staff" facility. We got there a few hours early, and there was no one who could keep our luggage until check-in time. When we called the hotel, they just repeated there was no way for them to help us. We ended up finding a locker nearby, but it was not a nice experience to be stranded for a few hours like that. You also have to do the self check-in that involves taking pictures and doing paperwork. If anything happens during the stay, I don't think there is anyone there to assist the guests. For the price of this hotel, the no-staff part was disappointing.
